Gavin came by to give the initial estimate. He was very personable, helpful and seemed interested in getting me the most cost effective repair. He suggested how I may even be able to repair the problem myself with specific advice on caulking it. I tried his suggestion and it did seem to reduce the problem, but in the course of my work I noticed some rotten wood which nobody else did before. I called him back because that rotten plywood definitely needed repair. This changed the focus of the problem and that section of repair was actually less expensive than the first estimate. Gavin also promised to fix another small cosmetic issue on a damaged corner of the roof for me, as well as inspect and fix all caulking on the roof, and trim overhanging tree branches as part of thier regular service. When the job was finished I pointed out that the extra cosmetic repair and tree trimming had not been done. Gavin promised to come back and trim the trees when the rain stops, and discounted the bill $100 for the trouble. The work looks great and so far no leaks.

We were scheduled for a replaced a day after the heavy rains came. When the rain caused interior flooding, they had someone out in a couple of hours to do an emergency patch. This guy was on my garage in the pouring rain patching for us. I am eternally grateful as the water was running down the wall with my electrical box!

I met Randy Burr (salesman for Clear Choice Roofing) while he was inspecting my neighbor's roof. He was so polite and knowledgeable. I looked up the company on Angie's List and decided to get an estimate on roof replacement and additional insulation in the attic. Randy was so thorough in describing the products that would be installed. The estimate he gave me was great! The job went just as promised. The materials were top quality. The roof looks great! My house was remarkably cooler with the added insulation and ridge vent system. The yard and my garage were so clean, after the work was done. Randy dropped by frequently, to make sure everything was done right and to make sure that I was happy with the work. Clear Choice and Randy Burr get A+'s from me!

This was my first experience with a roofing contractor and I was extremely impressed with Randy and the roofing crew that did the actual work. Randy was very polite and informative explaining the entire process of replacing my roof - from start to finish!! They did an exceptional job, were on time and finished in one day!! The yard was immaculate when they left and I could not have been more satisfied. I would definetly recommend Randy and Clear Choice Roofing to all my friends and neighbors!! Good job guys!!!

Im selling my house. Its 9 years old. I got some worn shingles on the roof but its not leaking. I know the buyers inspector will climb up there and say something. I contact clear-choice cause he is just up the road from my house. Gavin comes out, inspects the roof and says "you got 15 more years out of this roof it dont need replacing but you also got some worn out shingles. I can replace those". I agree. Next day one of his workers comes out and replaces the shingles. Gavin tells me, "if the inspector notices the difference in shingles call me and I will provide a letter explaining the integrity of your roof". This guy is great! Does not try to sell you something you dont need, only replaces what you need or what you want done then goes the extra step in providing service after the sale..Highly recomended.

This company was GREAT! And they had the lowest bid that I received (out of five bids) by a *wide* margin. Their bid was so low, in fact, that I was actually nervous about awarding them the contract to fix my roof. Two old sayings kept running through my mind... "you get what you pay for", and "if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably *is*". However, I've had just enough good things happen in my life, and instances where I paid a *lot*, and did *not* get what I paid for, that I'm not totally cynical just yet! :-) The folks at Clear Choice responded to my online bid request very quickly, and set up a time to come out and take a look. Gavin, the owner, is the guy who came out, and he really wanted me to be there. I wasn't thrilled about that, since this is not a good economy to be missing work in, but a roof is a pretty important thing, so I agreed. Contrary to my expectations, and previous experience with another roofing company, Gavin wasn't at all high pressure. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! And when I told him he would have to compete for my business, not only was he fine with that, but he *enthusiastically* recommended that I get at *least* three bids, just to be sure I was going to be happy with my choice! Very refreshing attitude! Gavin asked about my insurance adjuster's report just once. When I told him I didn't intend to share that with *any* roofer, to keep all the bids unbiased and fair, he never mentioned it again. Basically, he made the standard "roofer offer" to "go over it" and make sure my insurance company didn't rip me off. But when I told him I'd prefer to keep my own counsel, he respected that, and dropped the subject. I respected him for being smart enough to do that!! Gavin stated that he was confident he would be my lowest bid... and wow, was he ever right! Lowest by a wide margin! His crew showed up when they said they would, they did the job they were hired to do, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the end result. From start to finish, my experience with Clear Choice, whether dealing with Gavin, or with Carrie at the office, was always pleasant. They helped me make good choices when I was heading down the wrong path (I tend to like bright shingles that can make selling a house later on... difficult :-), and the end result was a roof that is a true asset for my home, not just something to keep the air in and the rain out. After dealing with five solicited roofers, and one unsolicited roofer (long story), I can tell you in all honesty that Clear Choice stood head and shoulders above ALL of them. Best price, most courteous and professional staff, and an excellent end result. If you are planning on any roof work, I recommend that you get at least three bids... and that you definitely make Clear Choice one of the companies that you call! What a difference between them and the other roofers in the Austin area! Wow!

My roof was already about 20 years old, and then was destroyed in a hail storm last May. Gavin was recommended to me by a co-worker. He came to my house the very next day after I called him to give me a bid. His bid was considerably lower than any of the other bids that I received (by over $1000), and he billed me for the exact amount. He was very helpful - suggested all sorts of different roofing material options, colors, etc. His crew arrived immediately after I approved the bid, right on time, and finished it all in one day. They did a fantastic job, and Gavin was very hands on to make sure that it was done correctly. I never thought that a new roof would change the appearance of my house so drastically, but it did, and it now looks FANTASTIC. I highly, highly, highly recommend Clear Choice Roofing - I would never use anyone else.

Clear Choice Roofing was the best company I have ever worked with, honestly! They came to my home gave me a great bid, explained everything that I needed to know about shingles, ridge vent, colors that would look good on my house and all the questions that I had about the work. They told me when the crew was going to be at my house and I was suprised when they showed up right on time. I have 4 children and I was so scared that they would leave shingles and nails in my yard, but it is now 10 days after I got my roof put on and I have still not found 1 nail or piece of trash in my yard. I am so happy with this company and will recommend them to everyone I know.
