It went very well, was done on time, particularly under a deadline imposed by a pending medical procedure. Compared with the other offers received, their offer was very professional.

The were courteous and on time. They completed the work in one day. They also did a very thorough job cleaning up. There was a minor problem (a few shingles came off) a month later due to very high winds and they promptly came and fixed it.

Company is friendly, prompt and professional. Quote was reasonable, scheduling was flexible to accomodate best weather conditions. Material delivery crew was prompt and careful. (Because they knew I was right there watching them) Installers were good except for 1 hiccup - installation crew apparently had 2 new guys who only put first 2 rows of felt on and thereafter, just shingles.(not sure why they would do this as it is not much work) Anyway, I caught them and reported to contractor via phone; He called crew lead who denied this was happening; Once I proved it, the contractor made them remove shingles and redo with proper felt; They had to pay for the extra shingles and it cost them more labor to remove and reinstall. Bottom line is watch your project like a hawk (regardless of company chosen). You never know for sure what the installation crew is like as there is generally a significant turnover; My contractor trusted the crew and did not monitor the job 100%. Fortunately, I always watch the job as there seems to be issues with every one. Overall, I'm happy with Rick and Gavin and would use Clear Choice again.

Purchased this inspection as as "Big Deal". The company was proactive in scheduling the appointment which I appreciated. Rick was prompt and explained what he was finding every step of the way. Because things were in great shape, the inspection did not take long, but was thorough. It puts my mind at ease to have this out of the way.

I never received an estimate and they never returned my call. I ended up fixing the damage myself. I wish they would have just told me that the job was too small, rather than waste my time.

I had dealt predominantly with James Brandon at Clear Choice Roofing & I found him to be exceptionally knowledgeable, very accommodating to my special requirements and requests, and a heck of a nice guy to deal with. Given the size and cost of this job, I was very picky in my roofing company selection and I had obtained quotes from 4 different roofing companies. I had gone back and forth with all of the companies several times about different options and with various questions to educate myself on roofing and to make sure I knew what I was paying for. Based on Clear Choice's handling of my questions and their obvious knowledge, their ratings (on Angie's, BBB, and other review sites), and the glowing recommendations from their references whom I had called, I decided to give them a shot & I am not disappointed. Clear Choice's bid was also very competitive & the fact that they were able to do all of the extra work (re-framing the flat roof to add a slope) without my having to go through another outside general contractor made the decision easier. They weren't the cheapest bid, but they were WAY cheaper than some other big names in roofing here in Austin. James, Arturo, and the rest of the crew at Clear Choice were all very professional and courteous. They completed this big job very quickly (which was important because of some rainy weather that was occurring), and they cleaned up the job site when they left. James even went out of his way to make sure that I received the appropriate certifications for the hail-resistant, metal roofing materials that I had selected so that I could get a discount on my annual insurance premiums! Now that's service! They kept in constant contact with me through the entire process up until I was completely satisfied with the completion of the job. I highly recommend them to anyone needing exceptional quality roofing, with great service and a great price!

I called Clear Choice from all the wonderful things I've heard and read about them. I called Gavin and told him there was a leak in my bedroom and it was starting to smell! Help! He immediately responded. Very professional and a very good communnicator. He grabbed his ladder and next thing I know he did a temporary repair on the leak until the roof could be replaced--no charge. Was very considerate. I contacted my insurance as apparantly I had pretty bad hail damage. He worked with them and filed paperwork. Was very efficient and extremely timely. I was hoping to have this done by Thanksgiving, and guess what- they did. His crew was very organized and cleaned up site very, very well and I have little animals and other family members. Honestly, I'd never know they were there except my great new roof! Thank you Gavin and your crew. You made the insurance smooth and did a great job with an awesome warranty on it. He even replaces my 'turbines', those whoorly bird things on top of roof, at no cost to ensure they matched the roof perfectly. I had no worries during the process and did not have to check on them--he did a geat job of supervising and made my stress go completely away about this process and i'm very happy. I will rehire them and recommend them highly!

I rehired Clear Choice to install more insulation in my actic. It was not even close to adequate high or density. Gavin and his crew came out and installed a good 2' of insulation in attic....did an awesome job of clean up and I am happy! Helped tremendously on my bill too. I was experiencing two leaks from my roof and called Clear Choice to come out to give me a quote for the repairs. They were out within a couple of days, gave me a quote for the leak repairs and most importantly informed me that I had hail damage which they recommended I contact my Insurance Company. Clear Choice was there with the Insurance Adjustor to inspect the roof. The Adjustor agreed to the hail damage assessment. These folks at Clear Choice know how to do business. James, the person that I dealt with, was prompt at returning all of my questions and explaining the work to be done. He also let me know that his crew would be at my home on Thursday to start the job and would finish by Friday, which they did. The crew was professional, cleaning up the area before they left each day. Clear Choice uses high quality shingles and James was good enough to let me know which ones were appropriate for my area and the match that I previously had. I'm very pleased with the quality of workmanship with this company. I'm even more pleased with their professionalism. They were on time every single time, they did what they said they were going to do and my phone calls and emails were answered in a timely manner. I looked the job over every day and paid close attention to the entire process. Clear Choice knows what it takes to please customers.

I met the job manager and he was personable and professional. He came out twice before the estimate was made to evaluate different aspects of the job. He was also available by email and phone and was very prompt with all responses. He started and finished the job as was promised. The roof and skylights look great.

Their representative came out promptly, took measurements and photographs of problems up on the roof. He send a bid on the job the next day including marked up photos. About a week later I called him and he came out with samples. I signed the contract and the very next day they delivered the shingles. Their crew came the next day, worked all day and completed the job the next day. We were very pleased with the result.

After noticing a water stain with no obvious source on the underside of the porch roof, we called in Clear Choice (among others) to take a look and see if they could point us in the direction of a fix. Alone among folks we tried, he spent a solid forty-five minutes diagnosing the issue, climbing up into the crawlspace to check internal underside damage and testing the shingles on the roof, row by row. After finding the unusual but only likely candidate for the leak, he straightforwardly described the DIY fix and suggested a specific sealant. The estimates from other contractors ranged between $300 and $10,000 dollars for everything from resealing the flashing (the task we did with fifteen minutes and ten bucks' worth of sealant) to reshingling the roof. I'd call him back in a heartbeat.

Because this company received a star from Angie's List, I included it in the two companies to come look, tell me the problem and bid on the work. I was very impressed with James, the representative who came out and continued to communicate with me throughout. They determined what was wrong, explained two ways of repairing it, and gave me a very fair price for the work. The second company I called, Barker Roofing, came out and then called and gave me a bid for $1,000 more, saying I needed all this extra work. I couldn't believe the difference in the approach of these two companies. I think Clear Choice will be my "go-to" roofing company now.

I called Clear Choice. They came and looked at the job. They called with price, then emailed a simple contract for work. I faxed that back and they scheduled for 10/21 weather permitting. They didn't show on 10/21 and I called about a re-schedule. The story was that the parts hadn't arrived yet. We rescheduled for 10/26. Installer called about noon and said he was on the way. They arrived about 1:30. This was a different group than the estimator. I spoke with them about the work. They got to it and were finished within an hour. They cleaned up, we talked for a couple of minutes about the job, and they were gone. The repaired skylights look great. I had put these repairs off for awhile because the initial estimates I got (from another roofing company) were about twice as high as I thought the job was worth. Clear Choice was about 35% lower than that initial estimate. Still a little high in my opinion, but within reason. I would use them again, and I would recommend them.

Overall a very good experience. They were very responsive, prompt, and professional.

James came out the same day I called. He inspected the roof and gave us a bid. We had planned to have 3 bids before deciding but we were very impressed with everything that James told us and made the decision to forego any more bids and use Clear Choice. Choosing the color of the shingles was our next decision and that took us almost two weeks. James was extremely patient and even gave us addresses of houses to go see with shingles we thought we would like. When the shingles were delivered, the company had upgraded them without charging an additional cost. The next day the crew started. They worked long days, cleaning up and removing the old roofing at the end of each day. A very professional crew. The roof was completed in a day and half. In the afternoon of the second day the gutters were installed by Five Star Gutters and Services. They too were very professional and did a great job. James was always available by phone or email, prompt to answer any questions or concerns, and made several trips out to the house at our request. We are very satisfied with the roof and the gutters and happy we chose Clear Choice. Job well done!!

Royce came out because we called them about a minor leak coming from the cold-air return during a severe thunderstorm. We had gone up in the attic to try to figure out where the leak was coming from, but to no avail. Royce went up into the attic, and he could not find a roof leak; his conclusion was that it was likely to be condensation coming from the A/C. He spent about half an hour inspecting and seemed very knowledgeable and forthright in the presentation of his findings. I was pleased that he chose not to charge us for the visit--more than fair. Should we need roofing repair services in the future, you can bet I'll call Clear Choice.

Could not have been more professional. James was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the team was on-site within half an hour of the estimate, finished in less time than I anticipated, and cleaned up so thoroughly that we had to hunt for the one small scrap of plastic we could find. I wouldn't hire anyone else for roof work.

Everyone involved was courteous and professional. James explained the details carefully and carried it out as planned. Though we had allowed for extra budget if extra plywood was needed, none was and the bid remained exactly right.

They were a little late and a bit slow, but otherwise did a good job.

Clear Choice Roofing responded quickly to my phone call requesting estimates for my roof. From the beginning I was impressed with the professionalism of this company. Once I sent them the contract hiring them to replace my roof, they were on point for everything. Materials for the roof were delivered two days after signing the contract and work on the roof was started the following day. The workers did a great job of keeping our yard clean and free from nails. James, who gave us our estimate came out to do a walkthrough of the work after the roof was completed and he listened and answered any questions we had. We are completely satisfied with how our roof looks, and best of all we don't have the leak around the vent pipe that we had previously. I would highly recommend Clear Choice Roofing to anyone that is needing roof work done.
