CLEANTECH CARPET CLEANING

They were able to come to my house the same day I called. I called at about 10:00 AM and they were there at 4:00. Ralph and his employee were both very courteous, professional, and nice people. I have 2 boxers, and they had no problem with that. They finished the job in about an hour and my house smells great! I would definitely use Cleantech again.

Ralph and his helper were friendly and courteous. They did a great job and took care not to soil the adjoining wood floors. They came when they said they would and performed the work in the amount of time they estimated.

Cleantech was responsive, easy to schedule (and re-schedule) and proactive in letting me know when they were running a little late. My carpets look great, my house smells fresher, and mystery spots that have been there since we moved in are gone.

They were a half an hour late but had called before the scheduled appointment time to let me know. Thought it was great that they let me know. The cleaning was fantastic, they got all the major stains out and the carpet looks new again. They extracted most of the moisture out of the carpet so it didn't take long for the carpet to dry out. They made sure we liked the end product and were very respectful of our house. I will use them again and would recommend them to everyone.

I called Cleantech on Monday, and they were actually able to fit me in the next morning. They gave me a time and quote over the phone. They were on time, stuck to the quote given, and worked very h****** some very dirty carpets (including a game room). They seem like a very nice family owned and operated business. Ralph and his son cleaned the carpets, and his wife apparently answered the phone and gave me the original quote. They were great, and I would definitely hire them again.

I made the appointment with the office for Monday, the 27th. They called back a few hours later and asked to change it as there was an appointment scheduled in the field that had not made it on the master schedule. I said that was fine with me. When they arrived and did all the work, they included scotch guarding at no cost since they had to change my appointment time. They were on time, thorough, and I would use them again.

From the first call they were upfront and responsive. I told them the square footage and number of rooms and i got a price over the phone. Since no one was living in the house, they were able to come and do the cleaning without my supervision and they called me when they arrived and when they left. There were several old stains in the carpets that they were able to get out and they left the house smelling fresh and clean. I have no problem using them again.

It was a completely positive experience working with this locally owned business. Ralph, the owner, did the work with one helper (his son?). I had to schedule a return visit because some spots "resurfaced' after everything dried, and had no trouble scheduling either time. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The carpets look wonderful and I'll be calling Cleantech again next time they need cleaning.

Ralph came with one other crew member and we agreed upon the work to be done. They cleaned the carpets and worked extra hard to get the spots out. I appreciated the job they did, but unfortunately, some of the spots weren't completely gone.

i called cleantech because of their great reviews on angie's list and because they are a small family business. ralph and his son showed up on time and ready to work. ralph is very personable and easy to work with. he explained everything to me before he got started. i was concerned about several problem areas because we hadn't had our carpets cleaned in ten years. one problem was that i had placed a red area rug made with natural dyes on my cream colored carpet w/o putting a pad between them. big mistake. ralph said that if it were red dye no. 3 he could get it out, but because it was a natural dye no one would be able to get it out. i wanted to see if the cleaning would make any difference, so i went ahead and had them clean that room as well. he power scrubbed my living and dining area, where most of the bad stains were, and he power scrubbed my stairs. the whole house looks beautiful except for the red dye which, as he said, which did not come up and also some other badly stained areas in the living room. i believe that cleantech did as much as was possible on these ten year old stains. i now have to replace the carpet in the living and dining areas, but in the long run this will update the house when buyers first walk in the door. i was happy with the service and the phone responses that i received from ralph's wife norma. all-in-all, i was happy with their work. ralph tried to set me up with a carpet layer, but it didn't work out, so i found someone else on angie's list.

I called Cleantech and spoke with Norma, the wife of Ralph, and explained that my son had spilled cooking oil on the carpet and asked if they could clean it. She agreed and made an appointment for 11:30 am the next day. I have used them before (based on ratings in Angie's List) and I know that they have a 30 minute window for arrivals. It didn't really bother me when they didn't show up at 11:30 next day as expected. But when they didn't come by 12:04 pm, I called them and clarified with Norma if I were still on the list. She said yes and that perhaps they were just delayed. I then told he that it was all right and it wasn't a problem because I cleared my day. When they didn't come by 1:20 pm, I called her again and asked whether they were coming. She said they were almost at my place but was not apologetic at all about being almost 2 hours late. I then told her that I would have appreciated a call from them informing me that they were going to be 2 hours late. She then proceeded to blame me for her not calling because she said I said it was all right and that I cleared my day. I then clarified that when I said I cleared my day, I didn't consider the fact that they would be 2 hours late! Her phone was cracking up and I could not understand what she was saying after that. When I finally was able to make her understand that I didn't get a word she said, she then raised her voice and continue to blame me. I was mad at this point. I then told her that I was her customer and the way she was treating me was unacceptable. She then told me that she didn't need me as a customer. So I said fine and hang up. At that point, her husband was knocking at the door. I told him what had happened and he didn't even bother to apologize for his delay or his wife's actions. He even said that never happened before which made me look like a fool. He was trying to make me to be the bad one. I was trying to control myself and be calm. I even explained that had I known that they would be delayed, I would have gone out for a burger for lunch. While talking with him, I didn't hear my phone ringing. After I clarified where he needed to work, I went to the room where the phone was and saw that I had missed calls and messages. I listened and there she was again. Accusing me of being rude for not answering her calls. After I heard that, I didn't bother listening to the rest of the message. I told Ralph what his wife said on the phone -- again, no apologies. After the work was done, he had the audacity to give me his cell phone number just in case I wanted to use his services again. He said for me to call him because I had a falling out with his wife. I just stared at him, thanked him and let him out. Obviously, I will never use their services again - - specially after being told that they don't need me as a customer. I had recommended them to friends and will now retract my recommendation. I will also let friends know of how Norma is and how they don't really need customers. I guess they have that many customers that they don't really need to be polite with the ones they have, rather had. And judging from the way Norma dealt with me, they don't really need the business. That is fine. There are a lot of other carpet cleaners out there.

They arrived on time and were very nice. Two of the rooms have fairly old carpet. I was surprised at how much better they looked after the cleaning.

Great job, start to finish, easy to schedule, on time arrival and great results!

I chose Cleantech, a small family-run company, over a large, more well known company due to the high degree of enthusiasm posted by prior Angie's list members. I was not disappointed. They revived my wall-to-wall carpets which had not been cleaned in three years. (I promised them I won't wait so long again. And, yes, I will use them next time.) They had to power scrub the living room which was deeply soiled by a dog and by food being dropped on the rug by family members. That room looks amazing now. Also, since they were late arriving, they did not charge for the power scrubbing.

Ralph and his Assistant were spot on. They arrived on time, confirmed the appointment prior to the ate scheduled, and did a fantastic job of cleaning. We have five dogs, one of which is a puppy and the tile and grout was very dirty. We had just moved all out belongings to a new home so the house was basically vacant. One could have eaten off the floors when they said their good-byes and the charge was exactly as initially quoted. We have used other services within the Austin area but Ralph far surpassed the work preformed by others. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ralph did an excellent job. They got right on it and apologized for being later than scheduled (They called to let me know they would be late as the previous appt took longer than expected. They were later than I'd hoped but at least they called.) I would use them again and recommend them.

Great guy. Did an amazing job. My carpet looks great. He was on time, sure about the price, and a quick worker. Also, he got a long great with my dog (who is a rescue). Which is always a bonus.

It went very well and they did an excellent job of removing pet stains from the carpet.

We had found CleanTech on Angie's List last year and decided to give them a try. They did a great job. This year we called them back and had the same exact experience. Way to go Ralph and Norma!!

Ralph & his helper went right to work as soon as they arrived at my home. Ralph did the ceramic tile in the master bathroom & half bathroom, pantry & laundry room. His helper did the carpet throughout my home. They really did terrific job, the tile floors & carpet look like new. I certainly would hire Cleantech Carpet Cleaning again. Highly recommend this company.

I called on a Tuesday and got an appointment for that Thursday. I only needed them to clean a 10 inch round spot on my living room rug where my pug had thrown up, so they lowered their visit fee by $10. They arrived about 15 minutes later than scheduled - but were quick and did a great job of removing the stain. It's barely noticeable now.

I contacted this company late Tuesday afternoon and luckily got an appointment on Thursday. The owner/operator, Ralph Rivera, arrived at the pre-set time and he along with his step-son got right to work. We had two carpeted areas with extensive staining and dirt that required a good, deep cleaning. After applying a pre-spot solution in both rooms he started cleaning. He was very attentive to his work and did all he could to get the stains out and our carpets clean. I think the most impressive aspect of this experience was when Ralph was through cleaning both rooms he returned to our first room and continued working on a spot. He wasn't happy with how it looked and made every effort to make it right. After he was through both rooms looked fantastic! My husband and I were EXTREMELY pleased with his work and how our carpets looked after he was finished and will ask him to return in the future. In fact we both asked Ralph to drop by each of our businesses to give us bids for cleaning our office carpets. I (we) would highly recommend this company in the future.

It was a very good consumer experience from start to finish. My call was answered by a friendly person who scheduled the appointment for a few days out. Cleantech arrived on time and performed just what I wanted at a fair price. They weren?t locked into specific package pricing. I wanted my sofa cleaned, but not the loveseat. One room didn?t need to be touched, but another needed extra attention due to pet issues. One area rug needed separate cleaning, but another I wanted cleaned instead of the carpet it sits on. Many of the big chain cleaners give you grief over area rugs and pricing on package deals. I was very happy with the quality and price of the service and will definitely use them again.
