Chem-free Organic Pest & Lawn Svc

Bought a new house in May that came with an 'acrobat ant' problem. I preferred to use a natural, organic method to get rid of them to avoid unnecessary chemicals in the home, but initially received quotes from both traditional and organic providers. I found the prices were comparable so went with chem-free. Their response time was reasonable, technicians friendly, and service seemed to do the trick. However within the next few days and weeks I continued to see ants. Eventually this tapered off and the frequency/number of ants continues to improve. I do still see house spiders regularly though. I plan to have them come back for another in home spray and hopefully that helps. (They prefer to only spray outdoors during bi-monthly visits unless indoor service is requested).

Went great. It will take some time for the fungus spots on the lawn to heal, but the ants are wiped out. I was impressed y the professionalism of the various people who came out over the course of a month.

Scheduling was a little tough, but it all worked out in the end. They use ABC Pest Control for some services (same parent company), which was fine. Happy with the results

I think they come out every two or three months. We have used them for years. They are always very neat. They don't make a mess and they use organic about so I don't have to worry about my animals or my neighbors. They are little cheaper. We would use them again in the future.

Worked good but due to extra people and things in house we needed additional servicing for spiders.

We used Chem-free for several years, but they were never able to really reduce the scorpion problems. They would give us sticky traps and we were finding scorpions in the traps all of the time. It got worse. After being bitten by scorpions in bed at night, we knew that we were just throwing our money away. Every time you feel a little itch on your skin you start wondering if something is crawling on you. We called another natural pest control. Since the new company treated our house we have only seen one scorpion.

They were ok. I'm not racing to go use them again. They did come back to reservice it when I needed it, so they were good.

It would have been better to receive the deodorizer immediately. We won't know how successful the rat abatement program is until it turns cold again next winter.

Everything with Organic Pest and Lawn went well. The aeration and compost topdressing covered my full lawn front and back, and is already helping the lawn look revived. The first pest control treatment was in May. So far, so good.

Typically when they do come, it goes really well. They seem to be pretty thorough in what they do and they use organic materials. It doesn't always work right away, it takes a little while, but they're always willing to come back and keep re-applying and they seem very knowledgeable. I had some ants around the house that are coming in the house and they took care of the problem. I've been really happy with them. I've used them for years now and I think their price is reasonable.

I have used them for over 10 years and have no issues at all. They also provide rodent control which has come in handy as I back up to a wooded area and have had pests in the attic several times. For a fixed price a year, they come as often as necessary.

They come out every 2 months to do the service. I am in a wooded area and I just feel comfortable using them. They were likeable and they were really good. The ants are gone and I did not have any repeats. They were personable. They work with you. They have a whole range of products but they don’t just put out poison knowing it was.

Minimum use of chemicals in our home. Extremely responsive with very fast turn around when requesting service. Polite, friendly professional staff. Highly recommend.

They bill me every other month. They use natural based products to control ants and wasps. I've been using them since May. I can definitely tell a big difference. It is safe if you have animals outside. They did an interior check on the initial visit and they gave their recommendations.

We love the service provided, especially since it is chemical free. We have several pets, and this very important to me. Also, they will come out anytime in between, at no extra cost. We also do the mosquito fogging, which isnt 100% , but does do a great job!

We have used them for years. Very professional and attentive to details. I especially like not having to worry about harsh chemicals indoors and out.

It went fine. They came out several times this year and were last here today. I prepaid for a year worth of service at $300. They made it easy to deal with them.

We just bought a new house and the bugs has just been really bad. It has been great so far. We have pets and our guy, I think his name is Steve, is the same guy that comes out each time. He does a great job. He is really courteous and the bugs are getting better. There were a lot of them. We did a service and then we signed up for a quarterly program, so they come out every quarter. I believe it's about $80 bucks once every quarter and then they come back to do a re-treat at no additional charge. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. They are very nice when you call to set up an appointment. They also are very friendly people who want to help. You can ask them questions and they are very patient. They will explain to you about bugs. It is just a great service for the environment, pets and everything. We have never used an exterminator before but it was a lot cheaper than what we were expecting, so we are good.

This is a valentine for services Chem Free rendered decades ago. They're still reliable and reasonable, but the deal isn't quite as good as I got in the 90s. Here's the story: In the early 90s we had rats in an old house we lived in downtown. The contract with Chem Free was $90 for a year, guaranteed, and they had to come out repeatedly. The first year of exterminating the rats and sealing up the house must have cost them three or four times what they charged me, and then they RENEWED for--I don't remember now, I think it was less than $90 because I was a continuing customer. I even suggested to them that they charge me more, but they declined! They said they made an agreement and they'd stick to it. The deal is not so crazy good now--we've moved and time has passed and etc., but they're still reasonable, they come when they say they will, they know what they're doing, and because of that first contract, I'll always use them.

They have been good with us. They have always wanted to come out for additional services at no charge if we need them. They have been very responsive.

I think Chem-free Organic Pest & Lawn Service were over priced. They were nice, but I won't go back to them again. I'd rather just do it myself. I bought some compost and put it on my yard myself and that has had a much better result than their fertilizer. I bought in to their add-ons, which I wish I hadn't. There was too much and they were stalling me on stuff. I'm sure when it was a privately owned company it was great, but they are now owned by ABC, a very big company that does lots of different things for people. They do yard care, housecleaning and pest control. They gave me a quote for pest control, but that's the kind of company that wants you to sign up for a plan, and I didn't want to do that. I do feel like they sold me stuff that I didn't need. I've had lawn treatment before - even organic lawn treatment - and I've seen the difference within a three-month time period, and this did not happen. They sent out a salesman first, and he sells you a bunch of stuff. The second guy who comes out is very nice and professional but he said one of the services, one of the sprays, he couldn't do because it was too early in the season. They were responsive and they were punctual.

He does a quarterly treatment. He is very efficient and does a great job. He is a really nice guy to work with.

They have been pretty good. They have a guy that comes out regularly. He is the guy that always comes out. He is pretty friendly. I have got couple of pets that he is okay with. He has informed us about the product. He checks outside and he checks inside the home. I have had a problem by our chimney and there was ants and bugs out there. My wife was afraid that they were termites and he made an extra effort to check. He told us that they were not termites. He also gave us ideas on somebody that could fix chimneys in that area. I spend about $75 every quarter. Everybody wants a cheaper price. I have a quarterly contract with them.
