The job was done right, quick and clean. The plumber was pleasant and informative. Great work overall.

HVAC--We appreciated that they showed up so quickly. They fixed a clogged drain line to get AC working, and we signed up for a 12 mo. plan due to cost being lower to repair it that way. The tech left saying that with a 10+ yr old unit, "the next major malfunction" would likely result in replacing the whole unit. That was a down side to the visit w/ them being new to us.

Please try ALL you can to avoid this greedy company. we had a shower leakage in upstairs bathroom and submitted a job in Angi. Champion AC & Plumbing contacted us and did the repair for us. The tech was able to identify the issue to be a broken faucet cartridge and told us he will replace it. I was happy to know it is just a cartridge issue and I would expect reasonable cost for such a small job. The final invoice came out to be $927 with 3.5 hours @ 225 hourly rate. They told me the plumber had to drive to different location to get the part and they charged me full plumber's rate for driving to get the part. ~$1000 is just beyond acceptable for replacing a shower cartridge!! I have called them many time to get a solution but they are very arrogant to reach a accept deal with me. PLEASE avoid this company at all cost. They will screw you just like what they did for me. I want them to pay for the price for what they did to their customers.

A plumber and his apprentice survey the area where I once had a traditional gas water heater-- going tankless plumber stated that they would get bk to me with their charge. I received a email stating: "Thank you for the opportunity to bid on the tankless water heater install. Unfortunately, at this time we will not be submitting an estimate. Please keep us in mind for future projects." Unfounded- I called to understand the reasoning. All I received was that my request was not up to city code--- Heck how would I no that-- asked to provided the quote w/ city code-- nothing yet. The gentleman were professional but left me with a bad taste at the end of receiving that email. communicating with clarity would have made feel much better in moving forward. Their loss --

Perfect. Done in 1-1/2 hours, no leaks, faucet is square (not crooked), fair price as quoted. No complaints.

Zach and Thomas arrived the same day we called for service. They did a great job, left no mess and were done in 30 minutes. We so appreciate their work; thank you and we will recommend them to all we know.

After reviewing a number of reviews, I decided to call Steve's Brougher's Plumbing and I am glad I did. Their office staff was very responsible and professional. They were able to set up an appointment for my renter the next day. According to my renter, their plumbers showed up on time and did an terrific job. I will not hesitate to call them again.

I’d like to give a big thank-you to Steve’s Plumbing for rescuing my house from misery. When our 4” sewer line from house to street kept clogging up and after I snaked it five times, I called this company on the recommendation of another plumber. After some initial scheduling confusion, Steve himself arrived promptly the next day to personally fiber optic my entire line, with a heartfelt apology for the scheduling difficulty. This guy really knew his craft and did exactly as he promised. Locating the exact location of the blockage (to the inch), he even sent me a screen shot of the locator camera TV at the exact time he said he would. He also worked with me on my budget considerations by letting me excavate the site, and at about 4 feet down I found the pipe with hole and ugly root infiltration. A few days later, as scheduled, Steve with a good assistant again arrived promptly in the morning and within 1 hour had the new pipe section spliced in. I was impressed with his attention to detail, empathy towards my family’s situation, transparency (explaining everything as he went), and respect towards my needs in every way. He also went above and beyond by listening to my problems with water pressure and made educational suggestions about how to work with the city to get an assessment. Overall, I found my trust developing rapidly and my bank account secure. I’d recommend this down-to-earth gentleman for anyone needing dependable, respectful, and reasonable plumbing repairs.

not well. They cancelled the first appointment, then charged an excessive amount for work done. Female receptionist was cold. Male receptionist was professional.

We needed same day service, to avoid having water damage in our kitchen. I was able to call first thing in Monday morning and arrange for service that day. Technicians were polite and efficient! I would definitely use them again

We had other jobs that were priorities over the smaller non urgent plumbing jobs so we didn’t hire them yet but Plan to do so later this summer. Only problem was we were still living across town and the company would not allow the plumber to come in the home and assess the work and leave us a bid so that was inconvenient for us but understood.

The plumber came up with a good plan and made sure it would be approved by the MUD district. The work was done on time and well.

Terrific! John got the sink unclogged, and took the time to fix a problem with a second sink when my husband mentioned that the plunger wasn't hooked up. Very professional and knows his stuff! Good communicator too. Thanks John!

John was able to use a snake and take care of the clog drain problem immediately. Awesome job and very professional. Very reasonable rate. Anna was great and was able to set up an appointment in a very short period of time. Highly recommend!

Did a great job. Did not try to pressure us to have the entire system replaced. Prices very reasonable.

Problems solved. Repairs were completed in a timely manner. Service providers were courteous and helpful.

They worked with us to address all of our concerns and came up with solutions for some complex plumbing requirements. Also, despite weather delays, they worked late to meet the deadline we had agreed upon and made sure the plumbing line was functional when requested.

The plumbers were very helpful and kept me from almost buying a house that would have cost me money in the long haul. They even wrote me an invoice on the spot (they also emailed one later) so I could act quickly with my realtor.

Steve's plumbing did a nice job and got the heater fixed up. They also went inside and helped remove some clogged faucet filters so that the hot water would flow better from the tankless unit outside. Repair tech was friendly and helpful.

The tech called before come to the property. Very responsive. Brought the gas setup up to code. Excellent custom service by answering my questions and explained to me what needs to be done. WIll use them again.

An excellent contractor, with experienced plumbers. They were timely, returned phone calls, and got the job done as quickly as they safely could. The owner, Steve, is a true gentleman. Great to work with them.

I should have looked at Angie's List before accepting our property manager's recommendation of these guys. I called on Monday to make an appointment for Thursday morning at 9 a.m. I was told "We have you down for Thursday at 9." I didn't become aware that they have service windows until Tuesday when I was trying to coordinate the water shut-off between my property manager and the plumber. Turns out my appointment was for "9 to 11". I tried to be optimistic that they might show up at 9, but by 10:45 (I had been told the plumber would call 20 minutes before arriving) I hadn't heard from anyone at their company. I called them to ask where my technician was and was put on hold, then had to explain to someone else why I was calling, then was told they would call me back. At 11 I got a call from the company saying the tech was on his way at the same time that the technician was calling to inform me of the same. He finally arrived at 11:30, took apart my shower faucet, left to go get parts (which I expected), came back at noon, finished the repair, then asked me to pay on-site. I told him I would pay by credit card and he said the company would call me. I had already emailed Steve, the owner, to ask for a discount, because I'm an hourly employee and had tried to schedule this appointment as early as possible so to minimize the amount of money I would be missing out on earning. The technician returned to my door and said that he had just spoken to the office and they wanted me to call them. I did, while the technician was waiting in another room, and repeated my request for a discount because they had severely inconvenienced me. The woman on the phone told me that Steve had already seen my email and would not authorize a discount. [ I never did receive an email response from Steve--the personal touch means nothing here.] After I had paid my bill, the technician (who did a reasonable job and was quite polite, he deserves better than to work for these cretins) told me that he hadn't received notification of my job until 11 a.m.--i.e., about 30 seconds before he called me to let me know he was coming, which means that I apparently had not been on the schedule at all. TL;DR: Inconsiderate, late, won't agree to a discount or any concessions if the customer is dissatisfied.

I can't believe these guys are A listers. What's going on Amy? I had a shower with low water flow. I called and asked for a plumber to come check it out. I indicated the valve could be defective, and would have a replacement valve available if it is needed. I also asked about having a new toilet installed. They made the appointment for 3PM on Thursday. I was quoted $125/hr with a 1 hour minimum. I figured 2 hours on the shower? My mistake. They showed up closer to 4PM. Indicated a flat rate toilet install was $185, I said OK. They installed the toilet, looked at the shower and said they didn't recognize the brand of the valve and wouldn't have any spare parts. I said lucky me, I have a replacement valve. They said, oh....it's after 5, everything is now $190/hr. I'm jammed to get this done and so I said OK....figuring it couldn't take that long. Over the next 2.5 hours I felt like I had to chase them down to get the job done. An hour to solder the copper pipes on the driveway...combined with many coffee breaks. Foot dragging.....I never imagined I would spend $775 to have a toilet installed and a valve installed. They left a hole in the wall, not a problem, just wanted you to know that they didn't spend any time doing non-plumbing things. Overall, I thought they delivered poor value for what they charged. I thought they did a poor job scheduling the work and the team dragged their feet on overtime to pump up the charges. They were nice enough guys....just slow while on the clock.

Michael showed up on time, completed the work in a timely manner, was friendly and cleaned up meticously after he was done. This guy was a pro and the price was $40.00 under any other bid I got (2 others). I called on Wednesday morning at about 9:00 am and he came at about 4:30 pm. Michael completed the work when my partner was home and when I saw the bathroom sink I noticed the mounting ring hadn't been replaced when everything else had been done perfectly. The faucet I bought had the part so I expected it to be done. I called Michael and he said they don't usually replace those. He had the box with him and I needed the part which was in the box so I could install it. I asked him to drop it off the next day (it was after 5:30 pm). I was obviously upset and Michael was calm and responsive. When I arrived home at 7:30, I found that Michael had returned to my home and installed the mounting ring in the sink. I had accepted that it wasn't usually done and was willing to do it myself or have it done if he returned the part. I found it amazing that he returned and replaced it ( it took him 45 minutes) and he didn't charge for the extra time needed to complete the work to my satisfaction. I've never been more pleased with service from a plumber and have used 2 others from Angie's list. Thank you Steve Brougher's plumbing!

I called Steve Brougher's Plumbing service on Monday, Dec. 7th regarding a water problem at my home, and I left a voice mail message. Then I called the emergency number that they provided on their voice mail system. When I didn't hear from them by Tuesday afternoon, I called another plumbing service. I called Steve Brougher's Plumbing service back this afternoon, Dec. 9th, to find out why no one called me back. The woman who answered was apologetic; however, she had no answer for why I didn't receive a call back from anyone....not even the emergency number. I will not call them again.
