Catalyst did an incredible job helping remodel my kitchen and install new windows in the house. They communicated very clearly throughout the project and were flexible when I changed my mind on a few items in the middle of the remodel. I would highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with Alex and his team at Catalyst Construction!! I recently bought a home in Austin that needed quite a bit of work. After meeting with a number of contractors, I finally had the pleasure of meeting Alex at Catalyst. Immediately I was pleased with his upfront honesty and willingness to help. I was a little nervous to work with a contractor initially, but Alex really helped bring ease to our minds. He suggested cost saving tips, explained everything in great detail, and had a ton of great construction knowledge that enabled the project to go smoothly. After receiving a fair bid, we ultimately decided to go with Catalyst. Throughout the entire process, Alex was transparent and communicated everything extremely well — I always felt that we were in great hands! He paid great attention to detail, which ultimately left us with a great finished product. I can not recommend these guys enough! We will be coming back for any future projects.

This was our first experience with remodeling a home, so we were very nervous about finding the right contractor. Catalyst Construction was recommended by our interior designer, and they turned out to be an excellent partner for this huge project! The project manager was professional, communicative, and accommodating throughout the duration of the work. As a mechanical engineer and former project manager myself, I was generally impressed by their attention to detail and willingness to work with us through design changes as the work progressed. The Catalyst team stayed on track and even pushed to complete final punch list items a few weeks ahead of schedule to allow our family to move in ahead of a deadline. For a project of this scale, it was exciting to see the final product start to appear after months of foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work. In the end, I would say that the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Catalyst brought our vision to reality and it has been a wonderful place to call home!

Catalyst Construction was recommended to us by our design team to help remodel our condo & we have had a wonderful experience with them! Our home is truly lovely! Our project was complex & the work involved a new kitchen, baths, built-in cabinets, flooring, tile & painting. Catalyst Construction's tradespeople were professional, reliable and left the workspace clean and tidy. Jess Jackson, the Project Manager, was responsive & provided detailed cost estimates for each task & for the project's overall time frame. Communication was great! She and her Team were also very respectful of my HOA's requirements regarding licenses, insurance & other compliance issues. Catalyst wants their customers to be satisfied & I highly recommend them.

We engaged Catalyst Construction for a major bathroom renovation and were extremely pleased with our experience. The team was excellent in terms of communication, transparency, and ensuring our complete satisfaction with the work done. Jason and Angie prepared a timely and detailed estimate, Doug managed the project efficiently, and the craftspeople performed their work well. We were regularly consulted about our assessment of the work, and our suggestions were met with professionalism and prompt action. We would definitely bring them on board for future contracting work.

This was our first time using a remodeling company. We needed a bath tub replaced, the tile surround, and some water damaged dry wall in a closet. We looked at several companies and then chose Catalyst Construction. Our experience was great. Doug stayed in communication on every step and their client portal that had the schedule for each step of the way and photos before, during and on completion help everyone stay up to date. The tile job was excellent and the paining was simple job but done to perfection. The plumber was very helpful in answering my questions about the process. I took my first shower in it today and am very pleased with every aspect of the job. I will definitely use Catalyst Construction for all of our remodeling in the future. Highly recommend.

Doing a home reno is a big project. It's incredibly helpful and reassuring when you find a contractor you trust, and can count on. Catalyst did an excellent job on my kitchen and living room. Jake & Alex are dependable and great at advising and helping you through the process. Finding contractors like them is difficult. I love their attention to detail. I love that they are easy to talk to. They are honest and friendly. They follow up and checkin to make sure you are completely satisfied. I will call them back when I am ready to finish the rest of my house.

If you're looking for a general contractor for your next project, Catalyst Construction are definitely the ones to call.  I'm a kitchen designer in the Austin area and have worked with Catalyst for nearly a decade on many projects.  I have no hesitation recommending them to my clients that need a contractor that will do an amazing job from start to finish.   Jason, Jess, Alex, Doug, and the entire team are not only very skilled at what they do, but care and really strive to make their customers happy and satisfied throughout the process.  Give them a call.  You won't be disappointed.

We were very pleased with the results. We have had the owner, Jason, do work for us before so we hired this company again based on our prior good experience. He and his brother-in-law Alex, who is the job foreman, are hands on and are responsive during the construction project. The crews that came were good at what they do and efficient. If you have any concerns about the work, they intervene and correct. We had one impolite worker and a phone call later, we had an apology and it was resolved. Alex came back several times to finish up loose ends. They stay with you until you are happy with the result. The results are lovely!

Catalyst Constructio did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen in less than four weeks. Their team personally designed our kitchen to suit our needs, which exceeded our expectations. The quality of workmanship of the cabinets and products used was exceptional. All of the employees here were reliable and professional. They showed up on time and they cleaned up after themselves and made my kitchen look great! I highly recommend them!

Complete remodel of Kitchen and partial remodel of 3 bathrooms. Work was done on time and top quality. All details were accounted for. Any questions or redos were quickly and resolved and handled with no hassle or problem. I would tell my friends to use Jason and his people.

After our first fiasco with construction to our roofline we shopped around quite a bit. We decided to go with Catalyst and couldn't be happier. Jason came over and was very methodical in his approach to our wants and needs. He suggested a plan of attack, gave me a quote, gave me a time estimate, and stuck to it. Jason was at the job each day to check on progress and ask me how things were going. He listened and talked a bunch of things out with me as we went along. The crew was fantastic. The painter helped me decide how to paint the exterior and suggested where to place the accent colors. Jason suggested cedar beams for the front porch (since we wanted to go from Colonial to Craftsman) and they were perfect. I didn't really like the wood only look, so I asked if we could get some stone around the base of the columns. He had the mason over the next morning. We harvested limestone from our ranch, he took a look, asked if we could get one more load, and he got started the next morning. The house has completely been transformed. We have gone from dilapidated colonial to gorgeous craftsman. We are so happy and pleased with their work. With the level of care and service we got, we'll recommend Catalyst Construction to everyone. We are using Catalyst for our interior remodel as well.

Great experience. I had purchased an Angies List deal for a bath remodel and decided to get some other estimates, just to compare. I met with a few individuals, and decided to hire Catalyst Construction, operated by Jason Box. I cancelled my Angies List deal because Catalyst was a much better fit for my budget at their 'regular' price, available time frame and warranty. Jason was very accommodating, organized and easy to communicate with. The crew was prompt, courteous, and the project was on-time, on-budget! The invoice outlined everything, materials were picked up, and all debris was taken away. Jason was very helpful in suggestions/ideas during the process. He has very practical knowledge. The tiny bathroom is really splendid with the updates.
