Wrong products were ordered and installation of the incorrect products started. Fortunately, I was home to stop the work and get the correct products ordered. No one from the installation team was designated as a primary contact person. After the work was completed and the first major rain came, roofing leaks were visible. The flashing was not replaced or repaired and the new shingles covering the area were not installed properly. The contractor refused to correct the problem as part of the original contracted work and wanted to charge me more money to fix the problem they caused. I kept pieces of the incorrectly installed flashing as evidence that the original roofer performed the installation incorrectly and caused the leak. I wasted a day of my time having to manage the original installation project and then had to deal with the results of a poor installation. Very unprofessional contractor.
