Nice to work with. My scores are not higher as the cleanup could have been much better. If any contractor is not going to haul away their leftover materials, debris from the job they should communicat this upfront. I was told to order a yard of sand and needed only 1/2 yard so that among other materials and a lot of debris were left. I would have made other arrangements or discussed that to be included. I am pleased with the work and again they were nice to work with. I would like to hire them again and just have better communiation.

Hired them to do a fall cleanup on our new home. The owner came out for an estimate and we discussed the job in detail. They were delayed coming out to do the work because of equipment issues and that happens. When I returned home to inspect the work I realized they missed trimming the bushes on an entire side of the house and I have contacted them several times and keep getting promises to return but it's been over a month now and he stopped responding. They were also supposed to remove a small dead shrub from the front of the house and that was not done. I raked and picked up 3 large trash bags of branch trimmings that they didn't clean up in the front yard on the bushes they did trim. Overall, very disappointed in this work. I was impressed with the owner Ascension when I met him and hoped I had found a permanent landscaper but not I guess the search continues.

Came right out and cleared out all of the overgrowth in our front and back yard flower beds. Pulled out the overgrowth rather than just knocking it down with a weed trimmer, then used a shovel to get what was left down to ground level. The team did great work and was very pleasant to deal with. Addressed all of my needs and requests.

I hired Ascuncion to tile my back patio (10â x34â ) after my previous hire â flakedâ on me 3 times. He came out the same day I called and gave me a VERY reasonable price. He had someone there in two days and the man who did the work, Mario, was EXCELLENT!!!! Hard-working, asking occasionally for me to look and make sure he was doing exactly what I wanted. I would hire Carrate Landscaping again in a heartbeat ( and ask for Mario again if possible) and I recommend them HIGHLY! I could not be any happier with the finished result.

Assencion Carrate is a very kind person and has a wonderful work crew. They arrived a bit later in the day than expected, but did an outstanding job. We had 5 garden beds that were horribly overgrown into the pathway. They pulled out all the weeds by hand, and any unwanted tree roots, tilled the soil, and cleaned up after themselves. The pathway now is in pristine condition. We plan to hire his crew again in the fall for our backyard garden beds. Highly recommend!

Working with Ascension Carrate and his team has been great. Initially, I hired them for lawn and garden clearing after the ice storm hit Texas. Luckily, I started talking to him about a few other things I was planning to do after the yard clean up and he informed me that he and his team could get them done. They came out and built a low stone wall around my front garden and installed a new one in the back garden. Then I had them return to extend the size of my existing concrete patio and do some signifciant tree trimming and cleanup. I have been impressed with everything they have done and enjoy working with them. I'm already talking to Mr. Carrate about replacing my backyard wooden privacy fence. Highly recommend.

I have had a lot of interactions with independent contractors over the years and highly recommend Ascencion and his crew. They did excellent work. He is an honest businessman and really cares about his customers.

My husband, Jeff A, left this company a good review in July 2020. Unfortunately, the project started to deteriorate and crumble after 1 month. We tried to contact them In September, but they did not respond. I was finally able to reach them in November and was told they would come to take a look. Long story short. He never showed up. I continued to contact him, and he had one excuse after another not to come. I even sent pictures. The project fell apart and had to be fixed. We went and found another company that came and showed us how, and why the project was faulty. This company also found them at Carrate also buried our sprinkler system so we had to hire someone to take care of that. Carrate Landscaping did not do what they were paid to do. This was a nightmare. Terrible customer service and they obviously do not guarantee their work. I wish there was a way to retract the initial review.

Mr. Carrate and his crew replaced my crushed granite pathway with a stone walkway that ran from the front porch to the street. I was very pleased with the outcome. The stone he recommended went well with my home. The quality of work was excellent; and, the price was right.
