With a new home under contract, we now started preparing our existing house for sale. Carol was meticulous in helping us stage our house so that it showed well. Her market knowledge was critical in helping us set an aggressive, yet realistic asking price. She hired a professional photographer to document our house and prepare a virtual tour for the Internet. All of her activities to show and sell the house were done with the utmost professionalism and concern for her clients. She helped us negotiate with several potential buyers and got us a contract at our asking price. We are set to close on both houses within the month. Carol sold us our house over a year ago. Since that time, we've learned that she also sold it to the people who owned it before us. She knows the neighborhood very well. Since moving in, we have called on her twice to help us with information about the house and for some home repairs. Both times, she was prompt and efficient. This last time, she showed up and reviewed the repair we needed, called her personal contacts for home repair, and within the week, we had our ceiling fixed. Note that she came by on a Friday evening.She also followed up with us and helped to ensure us a fair price with the contractor. She went above and beyond the call of duty for a realtor, and when or if we decide to sell our house, she will be our choice for a realtor.
