Capital City Gutters

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. We had new gutters installed in mid September 2019 and they leak. We've called, left messages, and sent e-mails to no avail.

UPDATE: with all of the rain this May, the gutter have been great and fully functional.

Talked to the owner on the phone and set an appointment for an estimate for installing seamless gutters on our new house. He called before the came on the day of the appointment. He brought color samples and we choose one color for gutter that matched the trim, and another color for downspouts that matched the rock. On the scheduled install day they called before the came and they arrived on time. They did a great job and it didn't take long. They cleaned up after completing the work and walked us around the house pointing out what was done and allowing us to ask questions. We did the same thing in 2012 when my shop building was completed and it went just as smoothly as the house. Both installations work well with no problems.

The owner came to do the estimate the day after we called. He called before he arrived to be sure it was a good time. On arriving he asked if we wanted him to do survey with an estimate for us to review or if we wanted to go with him and discuss as we went. We went and pointed out the areas that were a problem, and he made suggestions as we asked questions. We didn't need leaf proof gutters which saved some bucks. We picked colors for the gutters and the downspouts and set a date for the work. He called the morning of the appointment and said the crew would be on the way if this was a good time. They arrived within an hour and went to work. The gutter forming machine on the trailer made everything seamless and perfect length, and after they gutters were installed they are almost invisible they match so well! The downspouts were placed as indicated on the estimate work sheet and everything looks great. They placed diverters where needed, and placed a splash guard at the valleys. They asked us where we wanted the downspouts directed. They were careful about the flower beds and cleaned up everything when they were through. They did the whole house, about 2700 square feet, in about 4 hours. We did a walk around with them and the crew of two left. The owner called later that day to be sure we were satisfied with the work and got what we expected. He told us to call if there were any problems.
