+ -1 moreThe experience was a good one. I first tried to contact them around Xmas time, so it took a few days. They quickly scheduled an appointment for an estimate. I had been concerned that their competitors' estimates were high. Their bid was way more competitive than the others. It took a few days to get the estimate, but theirs was the only one that fully detailed the costs in parts and labor. They showed up on time and did the job quickly. I recommend them.
Description of Work: Calvin's move my power line from an old power pole to a new one 60' away. The trench was already dug. They had to disconnect, install a transfer box, lay the new cable, install a new switch box, and reconnect to the street line.

+ -1 moreThey provided me with a quote. I decided to use them based on price. Their price was about half of what the other quote was. They did good work. The price was good. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreJay came out and gave me a quote. I received one other quote from an electrical contractor I selected from Angie's List. The other guy was about 2 1/2 times more than Calvin's, so I decided to give Calvin's a try. I was pleased with the final product. Jay and two helpers arrived about 9:30 am and left about 1:45 pm. Now I have a 240V plug in my kitchen for my new range. Thanks Calvin's Electric.
Description of Work: Calvin's Electric wired my new house 2 1/2 years ago. I found their name inside my electrical box and decided to give them a call when I needed a 240V circuit pulled from the east side (service side) to the west side (kitchen side). This was not an easy task in a two story house. I did not want to cut holes in the sheet rock to route wire.
