We have worked with Celeste for two years designing our dream home in Driftwood Texas. Celeste's knowledge and experience has led us through the entire project from site lay out to interior design. We stand amazed at Celeste's creativity and vision. We are also impressed by her ability to analyze our tastes and desires and to help us work toward compromises with all issues. She has worked seamlessly with our builder, offering support and sound advice at every turn. Seasoned professionals drive up and instantly recognize our dwelling as a "Celeste home". Aside from her immense skills in architecture, engineering, and interior design, she also doubles as a "psychologist" when we can't agree. Review for Celeste Reese What a pleasure working with Celeste Reese. I called with a very small (in relative terms) project. Just wanted a porch added to a Georgian home in South Austin. She listened to my wishes and dreams and then asked some important questions that could have greatly affected the project. It looked like my porch was going to be reduced from a splendid addition to just a narrow facade due to a mandatory set-back. Celeste was able to work with city permitting and was able to advocate for a variance that propelled the project forward. With this new information she was free to design a Georgian/Federalist portico that completes the grandeur of our house. Her design elements were exactly what we had talked about and she brought in details that I had not even considered which only made the whole design that much better. Celeste was so delightful to work with and went out of her way to make us feel important and special. The relationship is built for when we design our new house. This project may have been a small one but I know it will lead to bigger and better things for all of us. I can’t wait to work with Celeste Reese Design again and would give her my highest endorsement.

She was wonderful. Her designs are wonderful. I like the way she works with you and she is very creative. I thought her price was good. She helped us with things that she didn't need to, but she did. I think she can read people, their style and imagination, and she can bring it to life. She has a vision for each of her clients to do what she feels that's what they want. I was having trouble describing what I wanted and she came up with what we want. I think she can do that with whatever style an individual wants. She is just very smart and very talented.

It was fine. She did a good job and I would use her again if I needed that service. The price was a little high but it was fair.

Working with Celeste and her team could not have been any better. I highly recommend them if you want anything remodeled or you are building something new. They were professional, caring, on time, creative, hard-working and they listen to you.

When we were in the purchasing process of a new house, I had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done, but I knew straight away that there were gaps in my design which prompted me seeking out an architect to pull the whole thing together. The house was a bit of a hodge-podge of original builder peculiarities, various remodeling efforts, and not-so-delicious original details, and the whole thing needed to be redesigned for current living standards. The bones were there, but the flow had left the coop. We hired Celeste to make it right and smart and efficient and logical and like it was always supposed to be that way. She started with how we used our spaces, what we needed in a home, and our aesthetic, and then she moved into the details of what kind of stuff we have and how we need to use it. For instance, I told her about a commercial stand mixer my husband had recently purchased (and fell in love with) and described the size as, “You can ride it like a pony,” which made her laugh and realize it was a big (31” tall) mixer that needed its own dedicated space. She also understood my somewhat-outmoded desire for a beautiful formal dining table on Thanksgiving without seeing the mess in the kitchen. I’m very happy that she took our thoughts/plans/needs and improved upon them. She even included outlets in the eaves for exterior Christmas lights (YAAAAY!). Her design was/is smart, elegant, and efficient, and everyone who’s seen the house cannot believe the change. It’s absolutely shocking how much good she’s done for a once sad little space, and you would not know a very clever architect was behind the improvement. The house just seems “right”. For me, it was money well spent on hiring a professional who knows how to use space appropriately, and while I probably could have developed a pretty good plan for the house, it would not have been as good what Celeste created. More than likely, I will be hiring her again to design a guest house on the property, and I would highly recommend anyone contemplating a major/full home remodel to hire her if only because it’s better to bounce ideas off someone else than to let them rattle around in your own head and still feel some doubt. Plus she’s super protective for her clients. I’d liken her to a pit bull when it comes to that sort of thing, so if you’re unsure about home renovation or building new, HIRE HER! She’s smart, adaptable, and fierce, a win-win-win combination when it comes to an overseeing architect.

Selected from Angie's list. Several meetings to establish our issues/desires. Responsive to email additions and questions. Presented rough draft to help guide our thinking. Came back with detailed plans that embodied what we discussed, plus very clever ideas of the architect. Especially liked the way she minimized disruption to the part of the house not being remodeled. She also recommended several very interesting general contractors and some subs. We are about to enter building phase, so have not picked one yet, but all she recommended seem fine.

C Reese Design - Architects and Building Design She helped me to design our house architecturally wise, and drew it out on plans. I liked everything about her, there wasn't a single thing that I disliked. Always prompt, asked questions, if she had any she wouldn't hesitate to call or email. I thought she was great !

We are yet to finalize a plan.

I called her office to make an appointment, she came visited on site and took all the info. She did talk to HOA about the project and helped us great deal in dealing with HOA.

My interaction was positive, informative, and they gave us a lot of feedback that was useful in our final design.

The overall experience was great! It couldn't have run smoother. She initially met me at my home to assess the space and go over my needs and expectations. She began the construction documents and started to set-up appointments with vendors so that we could meet and in one day to start selecting lighting, tile, and appliances. When all were finalized, I received a binder with all of my specifications and the bidding process began. Celeste was also able to suggest a lot of companies that can bid on my job whom she had worked with in the past, which also is comforting to know.
