Painting by noon, but everything the same color, because Brent only provided them with one color. They did trim work, and Brent said he misunderstood and they would finish up the following day. Gave him a key to property as I was headed out of town. When I returned five (5) days later, NO work had been done. Brent had a series of excuses on how backed up he was. It took him three weeks to finish up the painting. His crew lost all the hardware from the wood blinds, had overspray on the door hardware and left the place a mess. The actual painting work is of good quality.

I had Brent Jones come out to give me an estimate on some work. We contacted him through Home Depot. His wife called me to set up an appointment, and he came out right on schedule. He says that he pays Home Depot a royalty, and that Home Depot requires him to carry insurance and conduct background checks on all of his laborers, which drives up the price. Since the painters are going to be in the house for at least a couple of days, we're willing to pay the extra money for quality people. However, the prices came out to be about twice what I was hoping to spend on this project. I think I am going to use Brent R Jones Construction, but I'm going to have to put off part of the work, and maybe do some of the work myself to stretch my budget.
