As a first time home buyer, I was very nervous about making sure the home I wanted to buy did not have any major problems. With several potential offers on what I considered my dream home, time was of the essence. Mike was able to schedule and complete the full inspection quickly. His report was very through and included photos and explanations of potential problems. The 17 year old house had some problems. He helped me understand what he considered "must fix" issues so I could revise my offer to the existing owners to require that they fix a number od "deal breaker" issues. Mike made 4 trips (at no extra charge) back to the property to check repairs done by the owners only to find several items they had paid to be fixed were not fixed at all or were repaired in an inferior manner. He made sure everything was done right! His professional manner with the sellers was marvelous. Although they had purchased four homes during their marriage, they had never used a professional home inspector. After seeing Mike's report, they were shocked at the number of things not in good working order. They vowed to hire a home inspector from now on when buying property.
