+ -1 moreI have already been given a price to re-upholster an antique barrel-back chair that requires upholstering the back of the piece, as well as the front and the attached cushion. The quote of $450 was the most reasonable of all I requested. As soon as I can find the appropriate fabrics for the chair, CeCe will be seeing me again.
Description of Work: I've done 3 projects with Blanchards. The first was an antique boudoir chair that they re-upholstered beautifully. The 2nd project was a cushion for a wicker stool that turned out beautiful. The 3rd project was to replace a seat cushion for our granddaughter's metal "garden" chair. I was extremely pleased with all 3 projects.

+ -1 moreI took a picture of my Dad's recliner and went to Blanchard's to get an estimate and pick fabric in early February. The price was reseaonable. Thye were booked when I set up the service and Cece told me it would be about 3 weeks until they would get to it. They picked up the recliner within that time frame and completed the job within 2 weeks as promised. They had noticed that my Dad used a cushion to make the seat softer and they used some of the fabric to make a cushion for him, which was very thoughtful and observant. They did a great job and I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They redid 6 dining room chair seats and an antique bench/loveseat that I had refinished. Totally redid the the seat on the antique. I used their fabric. Great job and timely.

+ -1 moreThe work was of the highest quality. The chair looks brand new. All of the detail work of the upholstery is beautifully done, and we could not be happier. We felt the price was very reasonable as well.
Description of Work: I had a wing back chair that I wanted to have reupholstered. The folks at Blanchard's tore it down to the cushions for me and reupholstered with fabric I had chosen. They also refinished the legs.

+ -1 moreThe upholstery work was done very well and the sofa looks great. For what we paid we might have been able to buy a new sofa, but I am supposing we paid a fair price. The pick up / delivery service made the difference over other shops by saving hassle and cost. It took about 5 weeks for the job to be done, but we were not in a hurry.
Description of Work: We had an large old sofa that we wanted re-upholstered. Blanchard's was the only firm we could find that would pick up and deliver. Otherwise we would have needed to rent a truck twice, which would have added cost. It had some good comments on Angie's List and is close to where we live. They had a good selection of material to chose from and were easy to deal with.

Description of Work: I purchased fabric to reupholster my dining chairs myself -- just like they do on TV. Did one and realized this wasn't TV. Blanchard's redid my attempt and 5 other chairs on time and they looked beautiful.
