Description of Work: We had Ed come out and he did an excellent job with putting up 3 ceiling fans. We ran into some snags and he was very patient working with this. He left the house clean and told us of parts we could use that were still in the boxes.

Description of Work: The fellow called to schedule and sounded like a "dry drunk," repeatedly contradicting himself and telling me things in no way connected with the service to be performed. He never showed. Angie, please refund the money.

Description of Work: Handyman installed curtain rods and repaired water damage in drywall due to shower leak. He did a good job and very professional.

Description of Work: Cut and removed dead limbs from large bushes. Removed unwanted firewood from yard. Cut and removed juniper tree dead limbs. Repaired back door to house which would not close or lock...restored alarm system. Everything was done as asked.

Description of Work: They fixed a sliding glass door that wouldn't lock. The handyman showed up, assessed the situation, and then went to the store for parts. I was very happy with the responsiveness. I got the appointment the same week I called them. I guess what most impressed me is that they didn't expect me to have the parts and went out on their own dime (I was billed for the part that was needed) to purchase the parts and fix the problem. I'll definitely hire them again. My only gripe is that I was told they don't work weekends. Great for the employees of the business, but not so much for those of us that don't want to take off.

Description of Work: The quality of work is ok and the handyman is courteous but the service is overpriced. Pre-paid $75 for 2 hours of handyman work. Called about 3 things to be done. The handyman came said only 1 thing can be done in this trip which is calking the lines where shower glass and tile meets. The work took 1 hour 40 minutes including waiting time. The handyman said will use the remaining time for buying materials next time. Asked the company for an estimate of replacing and repainting a half sqft area of drywall near the shower and seal some cracks on the foundation wall. The company estimates minimum $150 - services charge plus 2 hours minimum. We got another estimate much lower. Will not buy pre-paid service advertised by Angie's list again.

Description of Work: They were on time and on budget. Patrick came by and walked through the work I needed done, and then walked his crew through it. We had a foreman here at first, and he was in and out. he also made the parts run. The two workers were both clean cut, polite, and spoke English very clearly. We had them attach the railing on the staircase, install transition pieces where the wood floors meet the tile, and install two doors. One of the transition pieces required a lot of custom work, and it was very well done. This was the best $300 I have spent in labor on this house. We WILL use them again.

Description of Work: I bought the 2 hr Special offer from Angies list for $75. I Called and Spoke to Dan about the Special and made sure they serviced my area and could do the work I was going to pay for. Dan was great to talk to, he answered all my questions and gave me extra info I hadn't thought of. I had been told I'd be given the rate of $35 a hour for my service needs should it run over the 2 hrs. Then why did my quote come in at $560 for them to install 4 Ceiling fans. You do the math... I found another person who quoted me $25 per ceiling fan. There excuse was that they dont do that alot... Still that would take them 16hrs at that rate or 8hrs for two men... Come on, I'm not going to over pay because your not use to hanging ceiling fans. What I was told and what I was quoted were very different. I was able to get my money back with the help of angies list. I would not advise to buy or use this company. They tried to say they would honor my original verbal quote, but the trust had already been broken and I didn't want people who told me they weren't confident in their ability to do my jobs. Two very different storys from Pre buying of coupon, where I had given them an A rating to Now this Rating. I felt I needed to update my review to save people my frustration and loss of my personal time.
