I hired AW to finish an apartment above our garage and install a covered patio and they did an excellent job. They were flexible and patient with me as this was the first project of this size that I had ever taken on. They also patiently worked through the inevitable scheduling snafus that came up while coordinating with other subcontractors, many times working directly with them to coordinate the details required to get the job done. Their workmanship was top notch , with very good attention to detail, as if they were working on their own property. My wife is jealous of Ames' tile work in the apartment master bath and is pressing me to hire them to do our own, which I'm sure we will when the budget allows. :) I highly recommend AW for your remodeling or handyman needs. They'll be my first call for our future projects.

I told Ames about midway through the project that I trusted him implicitly, and that is such a gift when hiring a contractor. Ames and his dad, Gerry, did an incredible job on our bathroom remodel and window installs. Everything was done with a focused attention to detail and was well thought through. He brings a wealth of experience, is extremely conscientious and sets a high bar for himself. He strives to do right by his clients and is extremely communicative throughout the process. He went above and beyond with our bathroom tiling. He spent many extra hours making sure the tile strategy and lines were just perfect, and even invested in learning a new technique in the process to make it so. I have heard horror stories about contractors, and this was the opposite. I feel like I made a friend in the process and I can’t wait to hire him again. Our house has never looked better.
