The repairman was very helpful and explained the cause of the issue. He also provided how to clean the washing machine properly and why it was so important. My husband was very impressed. Would definitely recommend him.

The technician had extensive knowledge of many different appliances. While he was working on my daughter's stove he assessed the condition of two other appliances, repaired one and advised her on the other. Great experience!

While Rick was very nice and came out to fix my washer the same day (Monday), I feel like the price was extremely high to replace the drain pump. $325 plus tax for what appears to be a $30 part. The worst part is that after doing 2 loads of clothes that night - it started doing the exact same thing - not draining. When I let Rick know at 7:00am the next morning - he informed me that his earliest opening to come back would be on Thursday or Friday!!! This was on Tuesday morning. Shouldn't you finish what you started before you begin a new job? Took my $350 and left me with a broken washer until the end of the week. Washer still doesn't work right - only works if I use the speed wash. He chalked it up to being detergent build up and I needed to keep trying to clean it out. What??? So why does it drain on the speed wash cycle just fine and WHY did I spend $$$ on a new pump? No thank you. So many levels of wrong here... I am also disappointed that HomeService recommends this company. After looking at the BBB and Yelp - there are countless complaints about Austonian Appliance similar to mine. I thought the point of HomeService was to prescreen these companies so you can trust that you are getting reliable, trusted and honest contractors? Not the case here. I will not use either again.

Austonian Appliance really came through for us in an emergency experience, specifically Rick. He added us to his list of tasks for the day... even though he wasn't done until almost 10 PM. It was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely recommend Austonian Appliance any day!

Good open communication with the repair specialist. He was great about letting me know when he would be there for the appointment. He gave 2-hour time windows rather than the usual 4+ hour windows that I'm used to getting from appliance repair places. This is especially helpful when I work full-time and have to plan my day accordingly. In addition to that, the repairman was friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience!

He showed up on a Saturday. Called just before ariving. Repaired the lid switch quickly and acted professionally.

We had several incomplete phone calls. I was not told of a trip fee before he came out. He did nothing. He looked at the washer and said it would cost $600. I said OK. Then he said that will be $75.00. All he did was just look at my washer!!!!!!!! Thanks for NOTHING.... I would never ask him back to my house...............

Came out right away, evaluated the problem, got the part a day sooner than expected and came out the day he received the part. Very pleasant and did a great job.

Took him fifteen minutes to fix two issues and it was $249! That's too pricey.

I appreciated that he came out the same day I called him. I was the last call of the day, but was working from home anyway. He was quick with the install. I had already did half of the job and he completed it for me. He did give me a discount for that. He was a little less than another place in Austin wanted to charge me. I was in a pinch and need the microwave installed ASAP. He did mention that he does do AC repair as well. I will definitely have to call him for my next Appliance repair.
