They said it would take 4-6 weeks for the bed to arrive. After 6 weeks I telephoned to find out the status of the bed, they informed me it had been there for a while, they kept trying to reach me on my cell-phone, even though I gave them my home phone number as well. They said they would deliver it on Friday (11/8/13), they arrived and had only the headboard and side-rails, they forgot the footboard. So they would come back on Saturday (11/9/13) between 10-12AM. Mr. Houlroyd rang the doorbell at 11:30 and all he had brought with him was the footboard, no headboard & rails. He 'assumed' they had left the headboard & rails the day before, however this was not the case. He called the store and was told the others would come in one-and-half hours with the rest of the bed. He left. At 1:15PM the store called and said they were on their way and should arrive in 20 minutes. At 2:30PM I called the store again and informed them the delivery still had not been made. They said they would try and locate the delivery truck and get back to me. Mr. Houlroyd again called and said they were 20 minutes out. The delivery truck arrived at 4:00PM, once they were there the setting up of the bed went rather fast and with little or no problems. The thing that really irks me to no end, is the owner/manager of the store 'AUSTIN MATTRESS / BEDS & BRASS' has yet to call/email/etc... and apologize for this totally screwed up SNAFU by his people and company. The product they delivered and set up is of the best quality and we are pleased completely with it, we just wished we had purchased it from a different store/representative for Wesley Allen Iron Beds.
