The sales person, Bob Cunningham was on time, very helpful, professional and polite. The installer, Kyle English came out and installed the gutters as scheduled. He did a great job. Gutters have functioned perfectly, it looks very good. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Their representative came out when scheduled and thoroughly went over the options and then they gave us a very reasonable price. Their installers came out as scheduled and did a great job--we didn't even have to be here. It looks great and now that we've had our first 6 inch rainstorm we can say it works great too. I would definitely recommend these folks to anyone. Top notch all the way around!!

Bob Cunningham came out and explained the two gutter systems, which I had already researched and tentatively chosen. He was very helpful and professional, and I selected the colors for gutters and downspouts. He agreed to set the rain barrels on 16" blocks. He advised me that they were very busy due to the recent rains but that I would be contacted within the next few weeks for scheduling, which was fine since there was no immediate need for my installation. On the agreed upon date, the two gutters and rain barrels were installed very professionally, exactly as promised and to my satisfaction. Although there hasn't been any rain since installation, I am very pleased with the job so far, and there should be no maintenance at all needed with the type of gutters I purchased.

Initial consult completed on time and with the required detail to conduct comparison shopping. Work completed as scheduled. There was a mistake in the color of the downspouts installed, however one call to the company resulted in prompt and courteous service to correct the issue within 7 days. There was no negotiation or pushback from the company to correct the issue and was professional the entire transaction. Excellent product and service by the entire team that uses US material and internal company installers. Overall exceptional experience, highly recommend this company.

The Sales Person, Bob was very prompt and friendly when he came out to do the initial estimate. He answered all our questions, returned phone calls and even offered to come by on the weekend to speak with my husband. Once we made the decision to go with Austin Gutterman, Bob came out again to go over the placement of the downspouts and confirm the color. He had about 50 swatches he held up to our existing gutters and told me the color that we needed. Of course, when I provided the payment of 50% up front, I had to initial and sign that the color was correct. I guess this should have been a red flag, but Bob said that was the color we needed and the reviews/customer service so far had been great, so I went with it. We were given an approximate "week of" installation, which was 3 weeks out from when we signed the contract. During that period we had quite a bit of rain, so they emailed to let me know installation was going to be pushed out another week. Today, the installer came out and installed the gutters as scheduled. He was also courteous and picked up after himself. Before he left he asked me to give it a look to make sure everything was good. As soon as I looked up, I knew the color did not match the existing gutters. When I mentioned this, he said he didn't noticed it before since he was on the roof, but agreed that the color is not the same. I honestly do not see how he could not have noticed they didn't match, and wish he had just done something about it when he got here instead of installing the wrong color. He told me to call his supervisor, Ray, and that they would take care of it. When I called Ray, his response to me was that since I initialed that Harringbone was the correct color, he is sorry to inform me that there is nothing they can do. After also speaking to Bob, who did admit that he picked Harringbone as the color, he suggested that he should have given me the swatches to select the color. I feel like since they are the experts, they should be the ones to match the color AND STAND BEHIND IT! I mean, after all they are the ones looking at these things every single day. I would understand if I were getting brand new gutters and selecting a color from scratch, that they would not replace them if I decided I didn't like the color. But we already had gutters on the front of our house and were just needing to match the color for the sides/back. Additionally, I asked the installer if he had the extra splash blocks for the new down spouts and he said that we did not purchase any. I let him know that Bob told me in an email they were included. When I spoke to Ray, his story was that the installer ran out of blocks and would bring the extras by this afternoon. And, when Bob came out to do the estimate he told us that they would remove the 8 feet of existing gutter that wrapped around the side of the house and replace it with a seamless piece. I guess on the actual proposal he must have instead put to tie into the existing gutter, so now we have a seam and mismatched color on the side of our home. Bob did come by this afternoon and he apologized for the ordeal. He seemed very sincere and agreed that the colors are not even close, then left the swatches with me to pick a new color. He suggested that I contact the builder to see if they can tell us the color that was initially installed, which I plan to do. It sounds like Austin Gutterman is going to do the right thing, and take down the gutters of the wrong color and reinstall the correct color, but at this time I can only rate them a C based on my experience today. UPDATE: On Friday, after calling the builder and getting the existing gutter color, the salesman came out to get me to sign for the replacement gutter color. He called me later in the day to tell me that they would have the installers out here on Monday to take down the gutters they installed on Wednesday and put up the correct color. The guys were back at 8:15am today, as expected and finished the job to our satisfaction by 12:30pm. They also brought with them the splash blocks for the new downspouts and they replaced the existing 8 feet of gutter on the side with a new seamless piece instead. Based on this resolution I am changing my overall rating to a B. We ended up with a quality product and a fair price, but the experience was less than optimal. I would consider Austin Gutterman for future needs, since they did offer an apology and make the situation right. It is just a shame that the customer service when I called to report the problem was not better; this is the main reason for my B rating. If I had been treated courteously and professionally, the mistake itself would not have been a big deal. In the future, I hope the Austin Gutterman team will be more receptive to customer concerns and more open to finding an acceptable resolution from the beginning.

After purchasing a "Big Deal" through Angie's List, I received an email from the company asking me to call to schedule an appointment. It took a number of contacts to be able to schedule an appointment, as the company was apparently overwhelmed. The technician did do what was agreed, and told me that my gutters were in good working order. He also recommended clean-outs twice a year. When I asked about pricing, he wrote that it would be $89.85 for the first half hour of labor, and $35 for each additional half hour. Later I wondered if he had given me the discounted rate, according to Angie's list, as I had not kept track of how long he worked and the "Big Deal" did not specify a rate. After the technician was gone, I noticed that he left a piece of a leave blower. I called the company to report this, but no one ever came to pick it up or otherwise responded.

Timely, worked with me on schedule after I accepted their proposal as some landscaping work had to be completed first. Gutters have functioned perfectly and especially was pleased how they installed several turnbacks at junction of eave and 2nd story wall to prevent water infiltration behind the siding. Were reasonable when I had a few downspouts and minor changes I wanted to make at install time. Bob Cunningham was great to work with and they delivered everything exactly as promised.

We had him about three years ago and we maybe having him again. He's excellent. I could work with him many times. He did an excellent job, professional and the price was very good.

We dealt with Bob Cunningham of Austin Gutterman. He was very pleasant and professional to work with. The work was done on schedule and he accommodated our work schedules for the installation. The installers themselves noticed that the gutters brought to be installed were of the wrong shade of color. The company promptly rescheduled the installation for gutters of the correct shade. Half of the cost was charged upfront as a deposit and the remainder was charged after the job was completed and after they spoke to us to confirm our approval. Due to the topography of our neighborhood, the back of our house is quite high off of the ground. Most of the other companies we received quotes from said they would need to put up scaffolding to do the job which would significantly increase the costs. Austin Gutterman was able to complete the job without the need for scaffolding. Thus, they were most reasonably priced.

We recently moved into a 20+ year old house that had never had rain gutters installed. We had previously used Austin Gutterman so I called them and they came out the same day. We got quotes from other companies, and while they are not the cheapest, Austin Gutterman clearly was the most qualified and knew exactly how to handle some of the difficult spots on our roof line. The work was done on time and the quality is exceptional.

On install day we met Saul who was very nice and showed us how the gutters were made (right there on site at our house). The gutters looked so good we called that day and arranged for Saul to add gutters to a portion of the house that we had at first not considered. He took the time to make sure the down spouts were set up right into our rain barrels properly. He did an excellent job of installing them. All in all the entire process with Austin Gutter Man was amazing.

They claimed that they did not penetrate the gutters because they used a snap-lock system. After checking the work, I noticed there were some areas that they did have to penetrate them. I called them regarding this because this was something that was specifically advertised. Not too long after that there ads started leaving that out. There were a couple more hiccups throughout the process (more with the intall), that I don?t feel like we should have gone through. I think they knew better but they were in a rush. For instance, we told the salesman what side we wanted the downspout on and the contractor decided to go against our instruction. So it had to be taken down and then reinstalled. They did fix the issues and reimburse some funds, and we have been pleased with the product overall.

The office personal was friendly and efficient. Bob was on time to work up an estimate and very professional . He provided knowledgeable options from which to choose and I thought his estimate was priced right for the work and materials. The company provided top grade gutter materials from which to choose. I talked to three other gutter companies and this one won my business hands down. I usually think about an estimate over a night of sleep but I accepted this one on the spot. I would also like to mention that since buying my home 19 years ago, I have come across a few contractors who talk down to woman home owners. I appreciate when I meet a company representative like Bob who is honest and wants to provide the best possible service, whether he is dealing with a man or a woman. The workers were polite, on time, quick, and very skilled. The office called after the work was done and made sure that my expectations were met...and their gutter installers could not have done a better job. And they were pet-friendly too.

We were really pleased. They are really friendly. They completed the work on time with no issues. I got some estimates and they were very comparable.

They were very good. I checked on Angie's List, but the highest rated people were not in Austin. I called this place on a recommendation from my roofer. They cleaned up after themselves. There was literally no disturbance, and everyone spoke English. They came back a month later and checked their work and asked me how everything was going and checked to see if I had any complaints. I thought that was very cool.

They were great. John Richter was the sales consultant. He responded right away when we called, he was very detailed in his explanation in what he could do. He was very professional and genuine. He went over every possible option for gutters. He even came out a second time to go over it again with me because I had additional questions. He also gave me information on how to care for my gutters. He wanted to make sure I understood everything in regards to the process. The two gentlemten that came out, Ryan and Sigi, were great. They were very professional and friendly. They went beyond the call of duty and explained everything as they were doing it for me. They also did some additional work for me that I needed done. They suggested an additional screen which I needed once they were here doing the work. Ray English, one of the supervisors, personally came out to check on something for me. The gutters look wonderful on my home.

Everything turned out very well and I would definitely use them again. The sales person was very honest and forth right.

We had to reschedule the first appointment as there was job prior to ours that ended up taking a very long time and it had not been anticipated to be so time consuming. I was called promptly when they knew it would be a problem which I appreciated very much. When the work was in progress it was done both thoroughly and in a timely manner. This company shows great consideration for their customers.

These guys did a great job on the day that they promised and for the price they quoted.

He performed the work to my satisfaction. They were very responsive and cost effective as well. In addition to cleaning the gutters, he did some other repair work at a small additional cost.
