Delayed with order of materials; problem with one rain barrel but was re-installed at no cost.

The salesman really knew his business. He gave us detailed information about the different kinds of leave guards, and made some recommendations regarding drainage. The installer was scheduled on a date, and he showed up within minutes of the start time. The work is outstanding! The gutters match the trim on the house perfectly. And where he had to make joints with the existing gutters in the front of the house, the seams are perfect. You cannot tell that we had gutters installed at two different times. The price was very competitive, compared to the other principle provider in the area. They had a long lead time, as they are quite busy (given the service and price, that's believable). I would recommend that you call and contract early -- before you need the gutters. We did have that big rain in Oct, and it washed away a lot of our new landscaping because we were still waiting for the gutters to be installed.

They came and gave us a quote. We had three companies come out. They were the most reasonable and we had our gutters cleaned.

They were very expert at what they did, courteous, easy to work with and responsive to any concerns we have. They were a very good company to work with.

John was ALWAYS responsive to any and all telephone calls. He was extremely patient because there seemed to be practically a year between our first meeting regarding the job and when we finally got around to having it done. He never pestered us and was unfailingly super nice. The installer showed up on time and did a thoroughly professional job. We already had two 530-gallon rain barrels in place -- so the first night we finally had gutters, all the rain went straight from the roof to the gutters to the rain barrels!!

He cleaned up after himself well. There was no sign of him being there, except for when it rained the water went where it should go so I know he really cleaned them!

I found their ad out of the Angie's List catalogue, and that is why I called them. The sales person who came out was excellent. He was straightforward, he gave me everything that I needed to know, we set up the date, and so that was excellent. The work was absolutely stellar, it looks great. There was an Angie's List discount, and it was a small project to cover my back porch area. They gave me a window of opportunity as to when it would be done, and there was a little miscommunication with the exact time that they were coming out, but it all worekd great. There was a glitch on the communication and I had taken things off my porch twice. I was satisfied with the pricing, I didn't do a lot of comparative pricing.

Talked with Roy, his guy showed up removed the old strap strewed a new one on and it now looks like it should and doesn't leak as he also sealed the corner.

I met with three (out of 5 that I contacted) to put rain gutters on my home. While Austin Gutter man wasn't the lowest priced option, I had the most confidence in what their salesmen Kevin was telling me. He really knew his stuff and I felt that, compared to the other two salesmen, was the most concerned with the aesthetics of the finished project. I'm glad I went with my instinct. The guy that installed the gutter, Sigi, was top notch. He explained to me what he thought should be done and how, just to make sure we were on the same page. He did an excellent job, and was really friendly. Speaking of friendly, the water collection installer, Chad, may have been the friendliest person I've met in a long time. He thoroughly explained the ins and outs of water collection and what I could expect/should maintain. I would recommend Austin Gutter Man to anyone that needs their service.

Sales man was polite and informative and not at all pushy. The installation team was on-time, professional, and very good at their jobs. We are very happy with the finished product.

We had quite a complicated archictecture, and a bad drainage / flooding problem, so it was a lot of planning and revising to intall gutters with the added complication of a rain water collection system. But Austin Gutterman were very professional, helpful and patient working out the plan with us. Frankly we did not shop the price around as we usually do, as this was highly custom work, and we were happy to pay to get it done right by a company that came highly recommended. So I can't rate their competitiveness, though I'm willing to bet that you can find cheaper. But as far as value goes - the price divided by quality - the value quotient is very high to get it done right for a house you will own for many years. Work took a long time to schedule as they were overwhelmed with jobs after the record rains, but was done well. After the install they were superb - redoing one downspout that didn't come out the way we liked (which was partly our fault for lack of communication) and also coming back to fix the little stuff after the system was in operation for a couple of months. If you want to deal with an above average company that is interested in you ending up happy - Austin Gutterman are great!

Five years ago, we called on Austin Gutterman to install gutters on our residence. After five years, our gutters show no signs of wear and we could not be happier with the look and durability. Most recently, we needed to replace the gutters on a rent house we own. Based on previous experience, we called on Austin Gutterman and they did an excellent job. They arrived when they said they would, preformed the work they said they would sure I was aware of additional problems. As you might expect when replacing existing gutters, you never know what you will uncover. They made sure I knew about unseen rot that was present as well as the poor roof installation so that I could address the problem. Sometimes contractors wanna get in and out so they can get to the next job. These guys took their time and did the job right.

First of all I would like to say that I don't believe in giving an "A" unless the work and communications with the company were exceedingly special. So my "B" marks mean that they did good work and were above average. Ed, the installer, was great. It was fun watching him make the seamless guttering and install it. His roof walking skills were impressive. He let me know that I needed to add water to the rain barrel so it wouldn't move in the wind. The gutters drained nicely in the rain we had since installation. On a general note, customers should be aware that you can't move the rain barrel once it's placed. Partly because you need a special tool to undo the gutter fasteners. Also I forgot how noisy metal gutters can be - they pop when the air temperature changes, and drum in the rain. The salesman did a good job of explaining the product and what pieces I needed to get the rainwater collection system going. There was some confusion over price because I was doing some of the work and didn't need the old gutters taken away. He was able to work this out to my satisfaction. An itemized list might be something the company offers in future for 'do-it-yourself' customers like me.

I shopped around before hiring Austin Gutterman, and I thought I was going to choose the lowest priced bidder. They were not the lowest priced quote I got, but their folks came across as very knowledgeable and very professional - so much more so than the 2 other folks I had interviewed that I decided to go with the highest bid this time. Everyone with this company treated me right, from sales, to scheduling, and the installation team. I have had the gutters for a bit over a month now and when I look at them I am still impressed. I compare them to other homes on my street and the quality is so much better than any of my neighbors. They are sturdy and well made, definitely quality work. Yes, they were a few dollars more than the competition but I don't regret that extra money. They were worth it.

It was great. He was a very nice man. He did what he said would do. He inspected and cleaned the gutters. He even did some small gutter repairs.

I agree with the comment they were slow to respond. I called in Nov and we agreed to the contract. I was told depending on weather, installation would probably be by mid December. By the second week in Jan. I called to question the date and they promptly had Kyle come out the next day. He was wonderful and it looks fantastic.

The selection of the product was perfect for the house, and the installation was extremely well done. The quality is A+. I never thought I would use the term "beautiful" when referring to gutters - but these are beautiful. I am so pleased I used Angie's list to find this supplier and didn't let the builder handle this item.

They came out and did a estimate and set a time for the install and performed as the contract said they would. A great job was done.

These people did a great job. I had problems with my old gutters, and I needed good professional opinions and advice. After reading recommendations here, I went with Austin Gutterman. This was a pretty big job. In addition to replacing my old terrible gutters, I had them install leaf screening, and two 200-gallon rain barrels. They also ran some underground drain pipe to a pop-up spout in the yard. I was a little shocked at how undisturbed my landscaping looked after the digging, there was just no sign of it. The gutters were put on just how they needed to go on, with angles adjusted, etc. They look nicer than I expected them to look. The rain barrel installations are impressive. They built elevation platforms for the barrels, which are nice. Every detail of the entire job was done to perfection. They were quick, they cleaned up 100%, and were very pleasant to deal with. They were also very considerate. I'm very happy with the job they did. No negatives whatsoever.

They were a little slow to act, but were responsive when I got back in touch with them. The quality of their work is high and once they make a commitment to do something they will do it.
