Description of Work: While these guys were two weeks out to clean my gutters, instead of turning me away, they have me the number to one of their contractors they use sometimes during busy seasons who happened to have an opening the next day. It's not often these days for a company to eagerly give up business to help someone out in a pinch...but they did and I will use them in the future for their honesty and courtesy alone.

Description of Work: Original gutter system only covered the front of our home. Austin Gutterman installed gutters along the sides and back. Did a very good job of matching up to existing system and improving water management around foundation. Installation was well done.

+ -1 moreSalesman came in with dirty boots and tracked mud on white carpet. Job had to be rescheduled due to workload. Technician spent exactly one half hour (30 minutes) here. Cleaned out section of gutter. Said that should do it. So I paid $350 for 30 minutes work. To say I am displeased would be a very polite understatement.
Description of Work: One section of gutter appeared both blocked and leaking. Salesman said $350 is their job minimum cost, but that it should cover the replacement.

+ -1 moreI called on 9/19/06 to get an estimate. Ken came out for the estimate and since it was such a small job, he estimated the company's minimum for any job. We accepted the estimate, and he said Victor would follow up within 2 weeks to do the job. I called Victor on 10/24 because I had not heard back yet. He said they'd been swamped due to recent rains (no pun intended), but would call me back within the week. He did not, but did complete the job several days later. The finished product is fine. I'd found this company's info on Angie's List. Due to other good reviews, I might give this company another chance.

+ -1 moreLet me start by saying that I'm totally happy with Austin Gutterman. They did exactly what they said they would do, and they treated me fairly. After this project was finished, I started asking myself, was this really a good thing to spend $1200 on? I've got so many other things I could buy for the house. Anyway, I did some research on the Internet, and I came across this article. http://www.askthebuilder.com/B184_Gutter_Protection_vs_Gutter_Cleaning_-_Cost_Analysis.shtml. I have to admit, I feel like I may have been duped by the ''gutter protection'' industry in general. I'm going to continue to presume that I made a good decision, and I suppose time will tell. If I don't have to think about my gutters very often, I will say it was worth it.
Description of Work: I have somewhere between 190 and 200 linear feet of gutters on my house that were badly choked with leaves. I called Austin Gutterman after reading the reviews on Angie's List. The sales appointment was set just a few days out, and the sales guy was very professional. He gave me two bids: installing a Gutter Helmet for $4450 (yikes), and cleaning out the gutters for $295, installing drip edge flashing for $360, and installing aluminum screens for $545. It was $1200 total. Given those two options and my cash flow situation, I chose the second bid. The work was performed on schedule, and I didn't need to be at home. I am happy with the quality of the work, although it's only rained once or twice since then. One additional thing I liked is that Gutterman offers one-year interest free financing through Wells Fargo, which I took advantage of. I'm still waiting for my first statement. The plan is to pay it off $120/month for the next 10 months.

+ -1 moreNow these guys were good and they nailed the estimate down for me. They got the job done in about a half a day for me. They brought their mobile work site truck out so they could measure and custom fit everything to the tee. You can't beat them for the quality and efficiency because they were the best at what they did.

They made sure to clean up after themselves when they were done. We really like that we do not have to worry about cleaning out our gutters anymore.

The crew was friendly and cleaned up all of the debris. We would recommend them to other home owners because we feel they deserve it.
