Austin Contractor Services

On 10/11/2016 I called Austin Contractor Services., the former Atlas Rain Gutter Systems which did the rain gutter install when building our home. I got connected to Jody and explained him the damaged gutter issue. Jody stated that they could do this repair and gave me some pricing for the gutter 5" = 3$ p/f and 6" $ 4.50 p/f. (Material) 1 $ p/f for taking the damaged gutter down. With my initial Install Invoice I could provide name and color of the rain gutter. Jody was helpful also gave me his direct T# 512 927 5006. Afterwards he directed me to Jason who needed to make the repair scheduling, which Jason did for 10/20/2016 between 12:00and 5:00 p.m. Monday 10/17/2016 I got a call from Jason asking me of the persons name who made the work order. Since I had documented everything with my initial telephone call, it was easy for me to repeat Jody's name and quotes from 10/11/2016. The following day, Jason informed me by phone, that Jody claimed he never spoke to me ! Still, Jason reassured me, that we were still on for 10/20/2016 repair, unless I would get another call from him. I waited all afternoon for the repair crew on 10/20/2016, nobody came and nobody called. I called twice, leaving messages with their recording system to please inform me. Finally with my 3rd call I was able to speak to Jason again. He apologized and informed me that there was an issue with the work order. Although all of this was very irritating, to say the least, I requested someone to do whatever needed to be done, in order to get the paper work they were in need of. Jason stated that he would put all the information into the computer for the person to see next day (Friday) since he would be out for several days. Friday 10/21/2016 came and nobody called me again. I can't believe this used to be Atlas Rain Gutter System as they are claiming. Their services have deteriorated to very low levels.

Fine. It rained and the gutter worked. I provided a rain chain that they installed and the rain went into the rain barrel.

Original estimate on May 28. Work scheduled on June 30. Had to call on June 30 to see when they were coming. Was told they could not do the work that day. Terrific. Rescheduled for July 9. Again I had to call them on July 9 to see when work would be done. Was told they could not do it on July 9, but would reschedule for July 10. Called July 10 only to be told that for some reason the job could not be scheduled for today. Amazingly poor service.

The arrived on time and as requested. If you want top of the line service and product I highly recommend Austin Contractor Services. Ask for Jeffrey Clapsaddle.

Told us that gas log installer would be at our home on Tuesday and garage door installer would be there on Wednesday. Then called and said gas logs would be installed on Wednesday. Gas log installer showed up that Tuesday afternoon and installed gas logs and doors. Then no one showed up Wednesday to install garage doors. When we called them they said that the doors would be installed the following Tuesday. After waiting around all day Tuesday no one showed up and there was no phone call telling use what was going on. We called Wednesday and were told that they had to order the garage doors, with no explination as to why they waited a week before ordering, which would be delivered the following Monday with installation scheduled for Tuesday. Once again the doors were not delivered by supplier on Monday and no call until Tuesday to let us know that there was not going to be any install. Finally the doors arrived next Monday and install was completed on Tuesday. Both installers were good and the final product looks good but the weak point is there lack of customer service communication. I would not recommend them for any work that could be done by some other company.
