Austin Aire and Heat was the company provided by our home warranty company when our A/C went out. Within an hour of requesting service, Moe called. It was 7:00 p.m. and he was just finishing up his last call of the day close to our house and said he would stop by on his way home. He diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly and explained everything to me (including how to avoid similar problems int he future) while he worked. We so grateful to Moe for taking one more call at the end of a long, hot day. We will definitely recommend Austin Aire and Heat to all our friends and neighbors.

Replaced 2 units. Working as expected

They never responded. I called twice and emailed once and they never replied. I just got a recording.

Moe was extremely knowledgable and professional. He got to the bottom of the issue quickly, and kept me updated on his progress. He fixed the issue and explained what the problem was in a way that I could understand. Overall I was very pleased with how easy the process was!

All the options were clearly explained to me and I chose to replace the entire unit due to the age. They were able to obtain a new Heater/AC unit and replace the next day. Excellent service,work and price.

My AC outside unit would run but the inside did not. Technician Moe Bedery arrived and immediately discovered that the blower motor for the inside unit needed to be replaced. Mr. Bedery contacted my home warranty office for authorization to purchase the motor. Due to the price of the motor, the home warranty office felt they could get it cheaper and so it took a couple of days to accomplish this, however Mr. Bedery stayed on top of the situation by keeping me informed on the stays of the motor becoming available for pickup. Then when the part became available, Mr. Bedery made it his priority to come and install the motor as soon as possible. Mr. Bedery was genuinely concerned about my situation of not having AC in my house during this whole process. I would definitely called on Austin Aire & Heat and specifically Mr. Bedery for future AC repairs.

The deal was originally based on an Angie's List special for just a A/C compressor (3 ton, SEER 13) replacement. After discussing the situation and noting the age and running condition of both units, we came to an agreed price to do a complete replacement of all of the A/C components as well as the inline furnace unit for both systems for my house. The two units were American Standard band, base units, each 3 ton (upgrade from 2 1/2 ton) and 13 SEER,(upgrade from a 12 SEER). They also makes use of the new refrigerant. The old units used R22. Company owner himself arrived with his two workers at my house at the exact time specified and immediately began to work. By mid- afternoon both units were installed, tested and in operation. He even included two new digital thermostats to match the new units. He registered the units with American Standard so that I could get the 10 year parts warranty. .All of the old equipment was hauled away and the area left in a good clean condition. When it comes time to fire up the new furnaces I said to call him and he will come by and test and verify that they are working properly. Owner is easy to work with and I have no problem recommending him for any A/C work.

We had used this company's services once before and had been impressed with the services provided. When we needed the air conditioner cleaned and inspected for sale of the house, we called them again. They arrived promptly and thoroughly inspected and cleaned the unit. He even cleaned the filters (they are the washable kind). The gentleman was courteous and professional. He explained what he was doing and provided me with information I needed to show the seller. This is the company we will call if we need service in our new home.

Last week my AC stopped blowing cold air. That sucks in Austin when you know it's about to start getting really hot again. So I called up Austin Aire - they had fixed my other AC under warranty a few months ago - fast, clean, expert service from 2 friendly professionals... I called on Monday, Brian and Moe came on Thursday and found my compressor had died - apparently the equipment my house came with was flawed from the start and rarely lasted as long as this unit had lasted. I authorized the repair and the work was done the next day. Works perfectly now and the price was reasonable for expert and prompt service.

I have used this company numerous times over the last several years on several properties and have always been satisfied with each experience. The service is good and the price is good. I strongly recommend them.

They came out because my furnace stopped working and reset it (by pushing a reset button on the flame rollout switch). It seemed to be working, so they charged me for a service call and left. It stopped working again, and if you reset the switch it will only work for a few minutes before the switch trips again. I contacted them and they refused to diagnose the problem, said that "it was working fine" when they were there and that the wind is causing the problem. It seems to me that he should at least take a look at the furnace and try to diagnose the problem or see if anything else is wrong. He doesn't seem to know how to repair it or want to deal with it. I did some online research, and several people think the repeated switching off of the flame rollout switch may be a serious problem and there are a few things that may be wrong- no one suggested that the wind is blowing the flame and tripping the switch. Anyways, I would not use these people unless you want to waste your money and time.

Old Republic assigned Austin Aire to check out our noisy A/C unit. Moe came out September 11 and diagnosed the problem as a leaking cooling coil. He reported to the insurance carrier, they approved the repair, and Moe scheduled the repair for September 17 before 9:00 AM. At about 8:30, Moe called o say he was on his way. He got to work right away, and completed the repair before 11:00 AM. Moe is responsible, neat, professional, and easy to work with. He explained some service-related stuff to us that will save us money. We will request him again if we need service in the future.

Provider came out the same day I called them. They ascertained that my downstairs A/C unit was low on freon. They applied stop leak and filled the unit with freon. The entire process took about an hour. While I'm not thrilled that they filled the unit with stop leak instead of finding/fixing the leak it is my understanding that this is what home warranty companies direct their contractors to do. The main reason for writing this review is that I was impressed with how fast they came out after the initial call. I was also impressed with how professional Brad/Brian were during the repair process..

They were very professional and my AC is no longer broken.

They were really good. The worker that came out was great. He was very conscientious. He even asked me if I had burlap to clean up this one little spot that I didn't even think was messed up after he got done. The price was good. My home warranty company paid for some of it so I don't know the ultimate actual cost. But I think the price was fine. I know it was fair. I would use the company again in the future if I had to.

I am very pleased with the honesty and ease of diagnosis that Austin Aire offered me. We did not know what was wrong and they could easily have blown the problem up into something it was not. This ended up being a simple and cheap repair and we are grateful to them. I do not recall the cost, that's how insignificant it was.

I have a brand new home that I just finished building and I called these guys to come out and service my washer. It was a terrible experience. He did not remove his muddy boots when he came in; he was also careless with his tool belt that was full of sharp tools that scratched my new washer. He complained a lot and was argumentative with me. I will not call them again.

After talking with a representative and scheduling an appointment, the representative did not show up. Also, they did not return my follow-up calls.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND A GREAT SERVICE PROVIDER. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM IN THE FUTURE. WE HAD ISSUES WITH THE AC AND INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SELL A NEW SYSTEM, THEY FIXED THE ONE WE HAD THAT TURNED OUT TO BE PERFECTLY FINE.
