ATX Residential Construction

Our fence project was done under William's ATX Residential Construction business name Which is now Buda Fence Co. First we opted for William from 3 quotes - sounded like someone we could really work with. We were replacing our entire fence, included 2, 4ft gates & a 9ft double gate. He started good & the fence looked great! Extenuating circumstances delayed the job, but we understood. He offered to stain our fence for free! Well, things started to going down. The gates were the issue, perhaps because we requested metal frames. Inevitably I had to redo all of the gates myself. He did agree to discount the cost. I lost some respect for him for failing to give us the promised gate latches, staining the fence & for not responding! After 4 email attempts & 1 voicemail (where I learned he was now Buda Fence Co, formally known as ATX Residential Construction). We paid him what we agreed to pay him, but he did not stand up to his end of the agreement.

I never leave bad reviews. Before you choose William you need to read this review. We are left with a half done fence with gates that don’t work and no chance of getting our warrantied work fixed. William got the job wrong from the start. His estimate was $1000’s off. We had waited so long for them to begin, we agreed to pay the difference. Once the job had been completed months late, we immediately began to have problems with build quality. Once it came time to stain, he ghosted us. I called to schedule a dozen times with no call back. We kept it friendly as I know that contractors have issues that arise. We were patient. We even gave his family baby items to help with their newborn. There was no friction and William was willing to be friendly with no intention of follow through. Now we are left with an unstained fence and gates that don’t latch after less that 6 months after being built for a price that ended up being more expensive than most quality builders in the area.
