I went there because they are the only ones that had what I wanted. I could have gotten it online with the features that I wanted but they had the inventory. I did not know Macs and I am adapting from the PC world. This was my first Apple computer in many, many years. There are a couple of little nuances that I did not like. Most things are designed for the person that isn't super computer literate. This was my first Mac ever. So far I am very pleased. I reserved a block of 2 hours online the night before with one of their people because I had a number of questions. When you buy a new computer from them you can buy a full year of training from them for $99. It is at my convenience and I can go in for sessions or individual problems. There were a couple of things that I didn't understand or that were not working for me and I wanted some clarification. Within a matter of 15 minutes this young man answered all of my questions. I hung out and tried a couple of things to make sure I was comfortable with it and then came home and did exactly what he showed me and alleviated all of the confusion that I was having. I could get help in the store but it would take some time because they are always busy. The price was high.
Description of Work: I bought a computer from the Apple Store on Sunday. I went back again on Monday for some training and some help.

The sales people are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions about switching from a PC to a Mac. The purchase was easy as was the setup. They have a great training program...for $99 you can sit down with one of their apple experts every couple of weeks to ask questions and they will walk you through how to best utilize the system. Overall it was a great experience!

I had very little knowledge how to use a Mac when I bought one a few months ago. The thing that convinced me was their 1 on 1 training. I go in weekly where they teach me how to do any activity of my choosing. Andrew is the best trainer that I have worked with. Most of the trainers are wonderful. I highly encourage everyone to take this option which cost only $99 for a year's worth of training.

Apple is a great company. If I would have paid the extra $90 they would have looked at it immediately. They helped me right when I walked in the door but calling them was a little annoying. I would recommend them because they do good work.
Description of Work: They uninstalled several programs that were interfering with the speed of my computer.
