Angel's Moving Services LLC

We had used Angels Moving Service twice before and were extremely happy with them. However, this last move was a complete disaster. Let me say that I have tried to contact them many times, with no response. That is why I am now writing this review. I do not want anyone else to experience what we did. Our move was large. We moved the contents of our old house to the garage of the new, to be stored there during renovations. We had Esmeralda, who schedules their appointments come out to bid the job. She saw the amount we had to pack up and move, and she provided a quote, which we approved. It started off poorly, when on both packing days, the movers did not have enough boxes or packing materials with them. When they ran out, they chose to use my sheets, towels, and blankets to wrap items in, instead of calling the office for more supplies. And to add insult to injury, as I later discovered, they even wrapped 2 tennis rackets in MY WEDDING VEIL. WHO DOES THAT? Later, when I went back to the house, after they were "finished" with the move, I discovered that part of the laundry room, part of the garage, part of the kitchen and parts of two bathrooms had NEVER been packed. They did not complete the job as requested, even though I pointed out these areas several times. When the renovation was complete, and we moved into the new house and started unpacking, we discovered how poorly many items had been packed and stored. Several fragile items were broken including two mirrors, one an antique. Clothing was crammed into boxes and wardrobes with heavy items thrown in on top of it. Boxes marked fragile were placed on the bottom of stacks with boxes of books stacked high on top of them. Bottom boxes collapsed, and several things were damaged. My daughter's American Dolls were folded and bent with heavy items placed on top of them. They will never be the same. I can truly go on and on. However, the worst damage was to our 4 year old king sized mattress. When the team from Angels Moving Service moved the mattress from their truck to the garage, they placed it on its side against a wall and then placed heavy boxes on top of it, crushing it and twisting the springs, destroying it completely. Again, I would have expect the move team to know better than to do this. I feel like I could ask for a lot more compensation that we have, but much of the damage is to items that can never be replaced. The only compensation we have asked for is to replace the king sized bed, which due to their incompetence, was damaged beyond all repair. However, after the initial phone call, they have refused to respond to our emails or our calls. I have no other choice but to contact the BBB, the Small Business Bureau, and the Attorney General. DO NOT USE ANGELS MOVING SERVICE.
