The company responded to my call immediately. They arrived promptly and replaced, repaired, and fixed leaking sprinkler heads. Most of the charges were for nozzles and the remaining was for labor. I don't know how much nozzles cost but I thought the charge was sort of pricey. I called the next day with some minor adjustments. They came back the next day and made the adjustments and changed one nozzle head.

This company does a great job. They are responsive, courteous and professional.

I sent an email to schedule service on Monday afternoon. Before 5PM on Monday, I was contacted by the company and had an 8:30 AM appointment set for the next day. On Tuesday morning, at 7:55 AM, our technician called to say that he was on his way and would arrive at 8:30, just as scheduled. They were on-time, professional, worked hard, and were cost efficient. The only snag along the wasy was that one of the men cut through our cable line, but they had it repaired in short order and apologized profusely. Of course, they did not charge for the labor time used while repairing the cut cable. In addition, they honored the Angie's List coupon even though I had used them 3 years before for more extensive repairs, as opposed to being a first time customer. It was a great experience, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

When we first moved into this 20 year old house, Andy's sent someone to explain how to use and program the system, as well as check The sprinkler heads. He suggested turning off a station to a garden we weren't using, and explained the water rationing system Austin was under at the time. He taught me how to program the system so I can do it myself. He was patient and very helpful. Their services seemed a little expensive, but it is a specialized business and they did an excellent job. I appreciated the extras, including the lessons and step by step explanations, so it was well worth it. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable professional.

Making an appointment for the service call was easy - far more so than calling some companies who are just a one man shop. Technicians arrived promptly and got to work root causing the problem. The leak repair ended up costing about 1.5-2x what I expected based on having a similar issue repaired a couple of years ago by a different (much smaller) company I also found on Angie's List. But they proposed some adjustments that other companies had not proposed before. Still waiting to see if the new nozzles they installed on about 25 of my sprinkler heads will help address prior coverage issues. Two weeks later, things seem good, though. It was so much easier making an appointment with Andy's than what I have been used to that I will likely use them again for future sprinkler repair/modification service.

I've used Andy's Sprinkler and Drainage for YEARS. They are the only company I call for such tasks. They have ALWAYS come with a 2-man crew and have integrity. They won't attempt to fix what isn't broken. I must have used them 3-4 times already. Great company, and GREAT customer service.

(previous review) They did not mention this on the phone or when they arrive, but you will be charged $95 simply for them arriving and turning on the sprinkler to see where the problems are. if you feel the estimate is (astronomically) too high, you still owe them $95 for providing the estimate. I paid $95 to fix one sprinkler head since I was going to be charged one way or the other. I wanted to have more sprinkler work done, but their estimate was more than double what I am used to paying.

It was easy scheduling the initial appointment, although they were running behind schedule due to the popularity of the promotion. After a couple of weeks, the team of two came out to the house, did the inspection and did some routine maintenance on the system (adjusted the timers, adjusted the spray nozzles, etc.). However, as I expected, more work was needed. I chose to focus on my front yard and not worry about the back at this point (the additional cost for the backyard would have been ~$1000). Everything appeared to be working fine, but I decided to check everything in the front myself. Unfortunately, some additional work was needed in three areas. In one of these 3 places, it was due to my actions -- I added some sod to a dead area and the sprinkler was no longer reaching the proper span due to the higher lawn. In the other two, I'd say there were oversights on the part of Andy's -- two sprinklers were simply not reaching certain areas of the lawn (which should have been caught by the inspection), and in another a sprinkler head was hidden under a stone that I use for my gutter downspout (again, should have been caught by the original inspection). I called Andy's back and asked them to make another service call. They came out the same day to look at the problem areas, and were back the following day to rectify the situation. I commend Andy's for the promptness and professionalism in handling the fixes. I understand that sometimes there are errors made, and I really appreciate the way Andy's stepped up and fixed the problems so quickly and professionally. In closing, I could complain about pricing, but they bid the job and came in on budget. There were no pricing surprises, although they are more expensive than certain of their competitors. I'm just glad I got what I paid for -- service, knowledge and professionalism. I would recommend them, but encourage people to have them thoroughly explain what they're getting and what their options are because it is a significant expenditure.

Both workers were friendly and professional and seemed to have expertise in all irrigation types - even very OLD ones! I was impressed with their service and will definitely call on them again and would recommend them to others. As a side note, Andy's Sprinkler and Drainage was working on our neighbors yard a few years ago, when they noticed leak in our main water cut-off. They took the time to track me down at work by contacting another neighbor who had my number and repaired our leak without us even being there. They just left us a bill for the service. So, I have had two very positive experiences with Andy's Sprinkler, Drainage, and Lightlng.

Work was OK but I would have preferred if they did not push additional charges for work that I would have assumed to be a part of maintenance tune up.

They were very fair on their price. They gave me suggestions and answered all my questions. They were very nice.

I wasn't happy with their services. It was a hard sell to get you to buy extra services.

Andreas and his assistant were on time, and explained what they would do. They found a couple of sections not working properly, and all it took was a little wire stripping. They aimed all the nozzles correctly and showed me how to use the controls. Andreas was very helpful and explained it all so that I could understand, and answered all my questions. I would definitely use them again.

Boy I'm glad I called Andy's! I had one busted line underground (they had all the tools and material needed to repair) and several nozzles that required replacement. The tech was very good at stepping through the program to run all zones, making adjustments to nozzles and reviewing the timer program. And the repairs were done quickly! The cost of the inspection was $95.00. After digging to find my leaking 3/4" PVC line, repairing this line, replacing 2 or 3 nozzles and adjusting several other nozzles, my final bill was $127. NOT BAD!! Thanks Andy's for the good service.

Their price is fair. I've had different people come out and I think they are approximately the same. I have had them come out twice. One time they did some major work of putting the location sprinklers and a new box. They did a good job and they knew what they were doing.

There were 2-3 guys who came out and they were all very polite. They kept calling me to tell me that they would be a little late. I was extremely pleased with their work. They gave very helpful suggestions on watering my lawn.

He was right on time, which was great. He was cordial and very businesslike. He gave us some idea of what it might cost to do the whole job. He had these little flags with different colors, so that we could identify exactly the different kind of repairs that needed to be made. My wife was the one who contracted with him. He did what he was paid to do and did a good job. In fact he went a little bit further than most probably would. He was very fairly priced. He worked quite hard on some of the sprinklers and sprinkler heads. He also had an assistant that sped up the work. That was good.

I did not shop around, but they seemed reasonable to me. They were on time. My wife was here when they did the job and it was finished by the time I came; so, I think it all went well. My wife did not have any complaints. I would rate them high overall because the work was done punctually and the guys who came seemed to be nice. I found them to be reasonable as well.

Andys arrived ahead of schedule (which was good). They had a two man team which made the work go faster. They replaced and relocated and shut off all heads needing attention. They cleaned up after working. Its my opinion that their price is slightly higher for materials than other contractors. They have a one year warranty on parts and labor. I would use them again.

Very disappointed in the service and will NOT use them again. Our sprinkler system wasn't coming on, and after examining the system, the 2 technicians determined that a module behind the control panel was not locked into place. They pushed it in and it worked. The bill, which I was required to pay on the spot, was $95. When I suggested that their technicians might not have set it properly after their recent visit and that we would have no way or reason to access this switch, the technician said they weren't at fault, and suggested that a gecko crawling inside might have moved it. The worst, though, was when the technician pointed out a minor leak in the handle that shuts off water to the sprinkler system. He and his partner said we needed to replace the entire "double check backflow device" or we'd run into serious problems, and wrote up an estimate for $850. He said there was no way to repair the leak. I called a reputable plumber the next day, who pulled out a wrench, tightened the handle, and fixed the leak in about 10 seconds. He was shocked that we had been told it had to be replaced. Thumbs down!

When they first came out the sounded wonderful. I was not happy with them afterwards. They didn't complete work. The manager said his workers would be out on a Sat. I agreed to pay extra for them working on Sat. They only stayed one hour and left a lot of trash in my yard. They wanted to charge me time and a half for a days work which I agreed to but they didn't fix the problem and they only stayed an hour. When they came back they were very difficult to work with. They said that things broke after they left. The guy they sent the second time was very intimidating. I am not sure I want them back. I feel like they were taking advantage of a single woman.

I had a few things broken which he replaced. I told him where I wanted my sprinklers, and he showed me where I needed them. After checking the entire system he let me know where new heads could be used. The price was a bit steep, but they do excellent work. He set my controller to where it waters, lets it soak, then re-waters. This optimizes my water use. He was here about 2.5 hours. Brad did a great job!

He went way above and beyond! He was wonderful and got it regulated to where the lawn needs the water the most.
