Amazing Locksmith Service

Jason arrived and I briefed him on what I needed done. He replaced the deadbolt with new bright brass one (color scheme is "Oiled Bronze") and moved the striker plates by unscrewing the wood screws and moving them a quarter inch. I told him the brass deadbolt was not an acceptable replacement. He said he'd replace it. Press for time, I paid him, and he gave me his card and said he'd replace the deadbolt. Next contact from him was asking if he left his drill behind. I found it and told him he could pick it up when he replaced the deadbolt. Nothing... at least 2 calls to the office assured me they would get him to call me. Nothing... except a text, "Are you home I could come by now?" As it turned out, I was and responded within minutes. I waited. Nothing... Finally feed up I texted Jason that his drill was hidden on the front porch. When I returned home it was gone.

Great, prompt response and a quality job. Will use them in the future.

It took him a few minutes to actually open the door. A little force had to be used but nothing was damaged. Turns out the latch had to be replaced.

Even after I repeatedly stressed the importance of punctuality in this case (as I had a limited window in which I needed the work done), I waited 45 minutes and the guy never showed up. I called to cancel and find someone more responsible and professional. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. These guys seem like clowns. I never even got the courtesy of a phone call; I had to initiate all the contact myself.

The company was able to schedule the appointment at the time I needed and the service technician arrived on time. The service technician was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions. However, it took 2 1/2 hours to install a deadbolt. I am not sure if this is normally how long it takes, I did not think it was that difficult to do. But I do feel that it took too long to perform this task. That is why I lowered the rating for this service.

Gary was professional, on time and performed every job with care. I was very pleased with his work and would definitely use Amazing locksmiths again.

Arrived early and went to work immediately. He double checked all the keys to make sure they worked smoothly. The new locks worked so much better than the previous locks. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I called for an urgent re-keying of my home, I spoke to a very unprofessional person who said they would call me right back to see how quickly they could get a locksmith to my home. I never got a return phone call. I called another Locksmith and was quoted a price much less then the coupon deal.

Service technician Al Morales was in contact by telephone and was very friendly and professional. He performed exactly as we had hoped.

Once the work started, it went very smoothly. He knew what he was doing and took the time to explain the work.

The locksmith came out within the hour. I called on Friday afternoon, and she was at my house within the hour . She did a great job, and the price was great. I will use Amazing locksmith again.

Amazing Locksmith came out a few hours after my call and was lower priced. Very quick turnaround and I would definitely use them again

I would not recommend using this service. First, he parked in a reserved space at my condo complex. When I asked him to move he argued with me, but after I insisted he moved his vehicle. Second, when I was just watching him do the job he asked me sarcastically, " are you a locksmith?" As if I don't have the right to observe work. He had trouble with my turn handle lock. He said that it was messed up. He was able to fix it. Left dirty fingerprints all over my white door and got upset when I asked him to put the metal pieces on a towel to avoid scratching my ceramic stove top. His unprofessionalism was bad enough, but then less than two weeks later my key got stuck in the top deadbolt and would not come out. I ended up having to go to Home Depot at 6:30 am to buy new locks anyway. His unprofessional, rude attitude was enough for me to never recommend him. But in addition, the work he did actually cost me more money. I found this business using the Internet and this experience has made me decide to never use another service that wasn't nightly rated on Angie's list. I actually signed up for angles list right after he left.

The technician was 10 minutes late, but that was easy to forgive. The service all took only a few minutes. She was very friendly, and since our locks were easy she didn't charge us to rekey them, only charged us for the service call.

Called Amazing Locksmiths on Friday and got a decent estimate. They were able to send their technician over already the next Wednesday. He did first the repairs and rekeying on the north end of the town and then delivered the keys and did more rekeying and repairs at the south end. Gave some good advice on which handles to install to child proof bathrooms. I will definitely keep their number on file for future jobs.

Seamless transaction. Arrived on time and quickly went to work completing the job. Assisted by a young man, they were neat and cleaned up after the install. Total price was reasonable and they cheerfully discounted the bill with the coupon.

For the price and quality, you can't beat this place. They were prompt and very professional. I also appreciate how they were willing to adjust the deadbolt at no charge.

The gentleman that came to provide the service was very kind and even called when he was on the way here. He was very professional and did a great job. We are replacing two of the door locks. He found the ones that match the other doors inourhouse. He called and double checked when it was time to order. I will use them again for any problems. Great company!!

The safe-smith arrived on time and he was very friendly. We never had a doubt that he knew his business and could access the safe without difficultly. He was so good, it left us feeling like what is the purpose of having a safe? ;) Afterward, he offered to reset the combination; which he did at no additional cost. The lock had been broken for several days, which prevented us from opening the door. After removing the doorknob and attempting to unjam the lock, we were still unsuccessful. Around noon on Saturday, I finally decided to call a locksmith. I located Amazing Locksmith Service on Angie's list and called around 12:30. I called and was able to talk to a live person after a few rings. He gave a few suggestions on what to do with the lock, to see if we could avoid the service call if it was something simple. He said he would call a technician and give me a call back in a few minutes to schedule service. He called back as promised, and we had service scheduled in approximately 40 minutes. The technician (Amanda) arrived and introduced herself. I explained the problem again and she came in to see what she could do. She was friendly with the dogs, who are always interested in visitors. After a trip outside to get more tools, and several minutes working on the lock she was finally able to remove the broken lock. She then took a few minutes to explain what had broken. I cannot comment fully on price since I did not comparison shop, and I know that locksmiths (service calls in general) can be expensive. I can say that I am very glad to be able to open the door and the overall experience was pleasant. I appreciate that I was able to talk to a live person when I called, rather than leaving a message or endless automated options.

The service person met me after work because their office was just down the street from my home. In an hour he had changed out all 3 locks on the door and made me as many keys as I needed. It has been awhile since I had this service so I do not have all the details, but overall they were fast, good price, and good customer service.

Called for an estimate and Sam quoted me a price over the phone. Luckily he was available and headed over to rekey the locks within the hour. His estimate was spot on and he did a great job. Happy customer.
