Allens Painting

Keith and his crew were amazing! I was out of town for work and my wife had the majority of the interactions with the Allen team. She could not have more nice things to say about their flexibility and professionalism. The house looks great and I would (and will) recommend Allen to anyone.

Great experience. Keith and his team did an excellent job, were friendly, trustworthy and wonderful to work with. He is very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of work he did. I would recommend Keith to anyone, and I actually already have!

Received bid and got a start date. He's very busy so it was little hard getting feedback sometimes, but as we didn't have a deadline it wasn't a problem for us. The start to finish wasn't very long at all. Worked quickly and offered to fix problems as they arose. Conscientious and offered to do touch ups if we found spots after he was done. His bid was very competitive. And I saved nearly 1K by moving my own furniture. Totally worth it.

In spite of more extensive wood damage than originally estimated, Mr Allen stayed as close to the estimated cost as possible,adding only additional materials fees when necessary. In spite of weather delays, he tried very hard to stay within the sceduled time, even working crews over the hoiday weeknd. He came back several times to check the final result and made sure I was satisfied before declaring the job complete.

Keith Allen was very attentive to my meticulous idea of what I wanted. He made sure every detail was taken care of at each step. He was prompt, professional, reasonably priced and did I mention how great my house looks now?! Before they finished, he walked through with me and made sure everything was to my satisfaction and then he cleaned up (and I think it was cleaner when he left than when he showed up) I was very impressed with his work ethic and the quality of work and I highly recommed him.

Mr Allen was very responsive. Came and gave estimate. Was flexible on paint brand etc. Started work on time, got the rotted wood done thru his carpenter, and then proceeded to do the exterior painting. We were very happy with the wood replacement as well as the exterior painting. No surprises and the whole experience was very good.

They were fantastic. It took 3 days, they were always on time, Keith was always on the job. I was most impressed with the extra work provided. My wall painting near the baseboards was not very good and they cleaned them up and made them look perfect. Keith did extra jobs that I had forgotten to include and only charged for the extra paint needed. My 80's townhome has a new lease on life with no more varnished wood doors and cabinets.

Had no problems getting hold of Keith and setting up an estimate. It took a reminder to get a quote from him after a week went by. But his quote was 30% under 2 other bids I got from other painters found on Angie's List. Work started about a week and a half after I agreed to use his services. Most of our communication was by email. The quality of the work performed was excellent. His crew's attention to detail was exceptional. I was working from home while they were painting and Keith was very sensitive to making sure noisy machinery was isolated in rooms with doors closed to minimize the noise. Friends and my realtor have had positive comments on the work done. The work took a day longer than he thought, but that was not a problem for me. An extra bonus: his crew swept my garage out before painting it. Biggest problem I had: they did not re-connect the washing machine drain hose properly. I started a load of clothes, went outside to do some work, came back in and found the laundry room in 1/2" of water and a 2x3 foot section of carpet soaked. Make sure they're careful about reconnecting your laundry appliances.

Keith and his crew are real professionals. They worked us into a busy schedule, got the job done and cleaned up afterward. They also repaired the texture on a ceiling in the bathroom from a previous job.

It went great. They were there when they said they were going to be and did a fantastic job. They even noticed a few other spots around the house that needed addressing and fixed those too.

The experience was outstanding. Keith was professional in every respect, showing up on time and notifying me via email or phone as to the status. He and his polite crew of two other people were extremely conscientious and hard working. I liked the fact that Keith was on site doing work with his crew most of the time and not merely showing up one in a while to see what was happening. He did everything I asked him to do and I am extremely pleased with the work he did.

Keith was fantastic. The estimate was easy to understand and in the end the bill matched the estimate exactly. Everybody in his crew for painting was highly professional. The quality and attention to detail were off the charts. Keith also completed the work when he said that he would. We would highly recommend hiring Keith Allen.

They were punctual, polite and got the job done in the amount of time they projected. They cleaned up after themselves and even vacuumed the room. I would definitely use them again.

Perfect. I couldn't have asked any more. And besides the artisanal work, both Keith and his two men were unfailingly pleasant, happy, helpful and eager to please. As long as Keith is in business, he's out painter. He told us that since Angie's List has taken off, he has so much work he's having to turn it away. We waited for a month to get him, and it was well worth it.

Don't remember the cost but it was very reasonable. They were very nice and they were extremely good. I picked them because they had good ratings on Angie's List.

I was extremely satisfied with Keith and his crew on both jobs. Keith communicated well by phone and email throughout the process. His team was prompt, did an A-one job, and cleaned up after themselves. Their final prices matched their estimates. Once they were on the job, I asked them to do a number of additional fix-up tasks, and they did a great job on those as well. They even fixed some areas that a previous (tile) contractor had not finished up. Keith also found some other spots that needed extra work, such as deteriorated outside boards, and he fixed them up. I highly recommend Keith and his team for painting and other home improvement project work.

This was the first time I had used their services. They were on time, did excellent work, were very accommodating, and considerate with the shrubbery around the house. They cleaned up afterwards and the quote was right on. They found some wood rot in the course of the work and replaced it beautifully.

I met with 3 guys for this job, and I felt the most comfortable with Keith Allen. He did an excellent job. He went above and beyond and even pointed out some things that needed to be fixed that I had not noticed. He does not use subcontractors. His crew was very good. They were very neat and picked up after themselves each day. He was very flexible with the job and worked around our schedule. He even replaced our door seals, which was great. He returned my calls very promptly and was very responsive to my phone call. He is also a perfectionist, so he never left the job less than perfect. He was very easy to work with. He provided me with a schedule of the work to be performed and the crew worked very well together. I plan on using them again in the future and would recommend to others.

This is the third time that Allen's painting has done work for our family. Previously, Keith painted the exterior of my house and did an outstanding job. Included in that job was the entire house, wooden siding, front door, and trim. Allen's Painting also power-washed my son's house, painted parts of the exterior that needed it, and painted the trim. This was the first interior work that they did for me and I was extremely pleased. The interior painting is magazine perfect! When painting the trim and windows, Keith fixed two windows that the contractor had left where they were unable to completely close or lock. In the past, I mentioned it to the contractor several times and got no where. WITHOUT MY EVEN ASKING, ALLEN'S PAINTING CREW FIXED BOTH WINDOWS AND NOW THEY OPEN, CLOSE AND LOCK PERFECTLY. The crew put right minor issues as they worked. The window issue was not minor; it has been a major security issue, and thanks to Allen's Painting, it is now resolved. Allen's Painting provided excellent professional service. They were prompt, efficient, and professional, obviously taking pride in doing things right. The crew is courteous and they make every effort to leave the work site clean and safe at the end of the day. I cannot praise them too highly! You cannot do better than Allen's Painting, whether you are doing interior or exterior work. Giving them a rating of A, does not do them justice. They rate an A+!

Keith Allen communicated with me via email and phone. They began the work within a week and finished in 3 days. He and his crew were friendly and courteous. They performed their work very well, and redid some areas that needed some rework. Everything looked fantastic. They even did some extra work like painting the gutters at no charge. The most impressive moment came after a hailstone damaged the paint job several days later. Even though the damage from the hail was an act of God beyond the control of the responsibility of Allens Painting, Keith came over promptly and spent half a day making the place sparkle again, at no charge!

They showed up on time, did a very thorough job and cleaned up after themselves. It looks great. No problems at all.

I emailed Keith regarding an estimate for painting our house, he called that afternoon to come out the next day for an estimate, I didn't think I'd see him for a week or so, great response. After he looked at the house and left, he emailed us with with an estimate for pressure washing, caulking, replacing one chimney trim board, and painting. We got to pick the start date, which was a few weeks later. Him and his crew showed up each day on time; pressure washed the first day, caulked and repaired the board the 2nd day and painted the house on the 3rd and 4th day. I showed Keith where a board had pulled away from the house around a window and asked if he could do something to fill that area and he did that also. I'm hoping that will stop the water that has got inside of the window. He listened and did what we asked extra and just did a great job to please us, and great customer service. His crew did a great job on the caulking and painting; the house looks like new again!

Keith was very prompt in doing his estimate of the work. He was thorough and professional, discussing each item that needed to be done. He gave us a written estimate of the work and a timeline for doing it. He started the job when he said that he would, in spite of very bad weather, doing the power washing and porch demolition first. We had bad weather for a few days, but he always checked in, outlining what he would be doing and when he would be doing it. He was great about using email to communicate and was quick to follow up at all times. He was always prompt and worked very professionally, always leaving the job site in good order at the end of the day. The key to a great paint job is the care and preparation that takes place before the paint goes on. Keith and his employees excelled in this area! I am still amazed at the professionalism of Allen's Painting---the service far exceeds the rating of "A+". Considering the quality of his work; Keith should charge more!!! A+++++++++

It doesn't get much better than with Keith and his crew. He and his crew show up on time, do very quality work, are careful to not damage anything, clean up after their work, and are very pleasant people. What is really great about Keith is he just comes in and does a great job like it is natural to him. He is very professional.

They did very well and were very customer friendly. We were satisfied with their work.
