Nate is always on time and is happy to answer all my questions (of which I had many!) which I appreciate. I wanted to do some of the work myself to keep costs down and he was willing to work with me. It still ended up costing more than I wanted or expected, but his customer service helped make up for that. I was not aware that his design plan would cost money and I was surprised when that came up, along with some unforeseen irrigation costs, those were also more than I expected.
Description of Work: Nate came up with a landscape design for me and then planted a lush courtyard, made garden beds and moved a lot of dirt around the front yard for me. He also worked on the irrigation to water all the new things that were planted.

Working with the member was great, she had many questions and I love answering questions! I had neglected to inform the member of the design fee, and I promptly credited the fee against the cost of the job to keep the initial numbers presented correct. In order to keep the cost down, I delegated the planting of two areas to the customer (to reduce labor costs), and the member may have misunderstood the overall scope of the work (which is common with people who are not landscapers). The irrigation modification costs were provided on a "labor plus materials" basis, meaning that I would bill the labor and the member would pay for the parts necessary (estimated parts cost within $5, labor hours within 30 minutes). Working with the member was a great experience. I would gladly return, but I would make sure to illustrate all costs on paper so there is no misunderstandings!
