About us

Tree work performed by George Anderson, ISA Certified Arborist TX-3758A. Working, on-the-job arborist start to finish, no subcontractors, no salespeople will call. Skilled helper/gardener with a BA in Botany on staff(both native Austinites). We believe that good cultural practice, and supporting the natural processes are the most important aspects of tree health-true for other plants, too. We don't have an office, but we return calls/emails promptly. We've been doing tree work for many years, decided to do it as a business a few years ago. A small company and staying that way, our focus is precision(and a conservative approach to trimming), rather than production. References on request.

Services we offer

Tree trimming, root crown excavation, compost/mulch application, limited removals(but glad to take a look), advice, tree planting, sick tree diagnosis, gardening/garden design, plant bed renovation/restoration/establishment, plant selection with emphasis on native and the better adapted species, and their natural form.

Services we don't offer

Stump grinding, tree topping/hat-racking/dehorning, unnecessary treatments/procedures, hardscaping, hedging.

George and his wife came by on a Saturday and looked at the job and gave me an estimate. They immediately removed some branches from the roof of my house and barn. They told me they could do the rest in a couple of weeks. I was impressed with their respect for the trees and natural world. They came back as promised and did the work we talked about and cleared the branches to my brush piles. The yard was nice and tidy and my trees looked way better.
Description of Work: Trimmed dead wood from five trees, cleared a fallen tree top from around a small utility trailer.
