Sean (the owner) and Jeff were by far the most professional contractors we've ever had in our home. They went above and beyond on design, documentation and cleaning. The work speaks for itself, we had air flow issues in our 1961 ranch home with original metal ducts. Major leak in one area due to a previous contractor (assumption) falling on the duct and the insulation was worn off / torn. Basically, we were cooling attic air... and getting who knows what into our system. Sean went into our attic within a couple of days of our call, took pictures and walked us through exactly what he planned to do. Carefully covering all registers, and the floor pathways with drop cloths, and the beds, then cleaning the ducts, fixing the damage in the attic, replacing all insulation to double thickness of what it was, cleaning out the entire HVAC closet, resealing it, adding sound boards to reduce the noise of our giant 11 year old system... and then the lovely Aeroseal to close up any remaining gaps. Picture perfect. And they cleaned so much with a handheld Dyson! Seriously. Our house looked perfect when they were done. Sean emailed us documentation and pictures with all data points and graphs provided, plus a certificate of completion. So much value. I can't wait to see the reduction in our bills going forward - and avoid replacing our system for a few more years :) My husband asked Sean when we should get the ducts cleaned again; he said we're probably OK not to unless we have major construction. What? Amazing. Such an honest professional. Best decision. Best experience. Call them now before getting yet another so-so HVAC "maintenance" job done...

Great. We highly recommend this company! Sean and Ian were knowledgable and professional, and worked in earnest to address the dirty, leaky AC ducts in our 50 year old home. They were friendly, communicating each step of the process in detail, plus they took extra care to protect our carpets and other belongings. In addition to all of that, they were able to significantly reduce our duct leakage- we couldn't be more pleased. Job well done!

AMAZING!!! These guys are so awesome! They did duct sealing and insulation for us and were so incredibly knowledgalbe and thorough. Great customer service, honest and super friendly. Would highly recommend them!

Sean and Ian did a superb job. They measured a tremendous leak in our ducts; first, they fixed by hand large holes in the ducts and second, applied Aeroseal. It turns out we did not need a larger AC but, in fact, decrease the loss of conditioned air in the ducts. I was so impressed by their service that I started to ask them for help and advice in anything related to the energy efficiency of our home (house insulation). I still contact them when I need level-headed and unbiased advice in improving our home.

Sean and Ian, from Aeroseal of Austin, came to the house to check the duct work and told us exactly how much leakage we had. (A lot!) They sealed off the vents, hooked up a machine (look at the picture - it's cool!) and sprayed a substance into the duct work to seal the cracks. They even showed me before and after pictures of some of the cracks. Sean and Ian were very polite and patient as they explained everything to me. They worked diligently and quietly and checked the leakage again after they sealed the ductwork. (It was so much better!) Before they left, they cleaned up and replaced everything they had to take down or move. They even gave us some tips about other things we could do to make our home more energy efficient. I couldn't believe the difference Aeroseal of Austin made! When we turned the air conditioner on again, it actually felt cold in the house! We had to turn the thermostat up higher and higher. I jokingly complained that it worked too well! We also saved about $200 on our electric bill that month and every month since. I have recommended Aeroseal of Austin to everyone I know. They did a good job. When they moved in we had advanced notification that they're going to do the maintenance in the attic and therefore we moved out and we didn't speak to them personally. They were punctual, they called ahead of time, they said they will be here at such and such a time, they did the job and they were very clean.

Ian and Sean came out in July to do an analysis on air leakage through the HVAC ductwork.. They then provided a quote for both the "aeroseal" method (demonstrated on This Old House) and on manual duct sealing. Because the leakage was not terribly bad in my house, and the cost of Aeroseal seal is relatively high, they recommended the less expensive manual method for my situation. On August 3rd, (they worked on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule!) they arrived promptly on time and began the work which took about 4 hours. Along the way, they explained what they doing, pointed out some of the major air leakage culprits, and even took before and after photos of issues they found and fixed in the attic. They also made some adjustments to the air dampers and recommended some very simple and inexpensive improvements I could make on my own. They pointed out that wall registers had been installed on the ceilings, explained the differences, and how the correct registers would improve air flow and comfort. Overall a very enjoyable and educational experience, and one that should result in noticeably lower bills for both cooling and heating. As a CFP (financial advisor) I tend to look at things in terms of return on investment, and depending on the results of your air leakage test, duct sealing is probably a better investment than almost anything else you can do. Highly recommended.

I contacted Green Home Solutions to come check out my house to see what improvements I could make to make it more energy efficient. Ian and Sean came out and evaluated my home. They pointed out that overall my home was in really good condition. I had radiant barrier decking and pretty good batt insulation. The evaluation was great and honest without an agenda to sell me something. They pointed out where my leaks were and gave me pointers on where I would achieve the biggest benefits. I will definitely refer my friends and neighbors to Green Home Solutions.
