I called Jason to ask him to come by and try to unclog my kitchen garbage disposal. He suggested that I might try a few remedies on my own and save myself money on a service call. He talked me through it and sure enough his suggestions got the job done. I've been using Jason's Acme service for years and have always been impressed by his honesty, reliability, and excellent work.

I've worked with Jason for a few years now, and have always been impressed with his and his team's work. From basic maintenance to major re-working of our duct system, he's done the job well and quickly, and made sure that my wife and I understood exactly what was being done, and why. During a recent major headache caused by a leak from one of our units, he's been very free with his time and advice while we deal with our insurance company, and has squeezed us into his busy summer schedule to make sure repairs were done. The only grade I did not give was price, and that is only because I've never comparison shopped. We are more than satisfied with Jason's service and feel we get excellent value.

My furnace stopped working and I had Dayton (Bobby) and Service Experts (Armando) diagnose the problem. They both independently said that my inducer blower motor needed to be replaced. I replaced the motor myself, but there was another problem. The motor wouldn't shutoff. It remained on all the time. I called back Bobby and he diagnosed the problem as a control board issue. I was short on money and was going to use the furnace as is, but after Bobby left though, the furnace wouldn't turn on at all. It kept tripping the breaker switch. I suspected Bobby had switched around some control board connections while diagnosing the control board, but he said that it was just a natural progression of having a faulty control board. I asked Bobby to replace the control board for me and I gave him the model number of the control board, but he never called me back. I called Acme (Jason) and told them the situation and he quoted me a price of $496. Bobby said he could replace the control board for $638. Acme was significantly cheaper so I scheduled a time for Jason to come to my house to replace the control board. We agreed to 915 am Feb 14. He called me on the morning of Feb 14 to see if he could come about 30 minutes early. He ended up coming at 915 am anyways. He finished replacing the control board in about 40 minutes. In the course of replacing the control board, he found that a previous contractor (Dayton or Service Experts) had miswired the ground connection on the board while diagnosing. I was impressed at this because he didn't just assume the previous board connections were correct. The cost of replacement ($470) ended up being cheaper than estimated. Jason was very friendly and explained what he was doing while working.

The owner is Jason. He is extremely honest. He's a good and clean hard worker. He has been absolutely a faithful family support person for years. He's patched up stuff for me and finally said to me six months ago that he would not be able to patch it up anymore. He said he was going to shop for me and try to get the very best price anywhere which he did. It took him about a day and a half. He just kept working till he got the price down for me. He's a good young man.

Jason Baker is the owner of ACME A/C and Heating. He and his crew were more than pleasant to have in and out of my house for two days. They cleaned up all "messes" made during the removal and instalation. They worked late to make sure I had sufficient cooling for the evening and night and came back the next day to finish the job. There were a few little things that had to be tweaked over the next few weeks, but that should be expected with all installations. I didn't even have to call Jason to tell him his last tweak corrected a small problem...he called me to check on it. He is a great guy; his staff is great and I am one cool person. My electric bill dropped from about $350.00 last year at this time to about $215.00 this year. I am very happy with my new system and will definately use Jason for any AC/heat issues I have in the future.

Jason Baker and his team were recommended to me by Green Footprint Solutions during my energy audit and home upgrades. I had just fired my home warranty company, so I was very sensitive to cost and service. Jason took the time to introduce his team, explain the process, detail his diagnosis, offer to take pictures for me (in my attic, saving me the climb) and just be thorough about every detail. Knowing my budget, he worked out several options for me, and we discussed the pros and cons of each. I ended up having his team rebuild my inside unit rather than replace it. They were on time every time. I met everyone. They all took care to explain what they were doing. And they cleaned up each day they were there. Jason also checked in with me at least twice after the work to make some adjustments and just check in. I was delighted with their care and attention and have called on Jason and his team for other (unrelated) issues since then. I highly recommend them, though it can be tough to get an appointment with them because they do prioritize their existing customers. (which is good for you once you become a customer!)
