Description of Work: Response to initial call and provision of estimate were quick and Keith was very pleasant and professional. | Once the inspection and estimate was prepared the option of purchasing a 2 year warranty was presented which appeared to be a good option. It was not initially clear from the explanation and my failure to read the complete contract that the warranty was only to cover work done. Caulking of seams, flashing, small amount of sheet metal fabrication and replacement of about 10 tiles which I had purchased. A new leak occurred following the repair and I was told that it would not be covered because the warranty was only for service of the new work the company performed. The owner, foreman and I spoke and the phone and reached an agreement for the additional work that I was satisfied with. The roofing crew were pleasant, efficient and explained their work. There were some difficulties in scheduling the work be were not in a rush since damage was small.

Description of Work: I had some leaks in my roof due to poor installation of a satellite dish which the previous owners had installed. Ace roofing sent someone over pretty quickly after I called them, and they removed the dish and replaced a number of shingles for a lot less than I expected to pay. We've had a lot of rain since then and my roof doesn't leak any more! I'd use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Replaced the vent stacks. Gerald showed me the old ones and explained why they needed to replaced. We are very happy with the customer service that ACE Roofing provided.

Description of Work: This company does excellent work from start to finish. Also, they did not want me to pay until I was completely satisfied with their work. I contacted them about putting vents in my roof and to seal off the side vents so that birds and other critters would not occupy the attic. From the beginning, I was most impressed with D.J. Shay. He responded quickly to my call and came by to give me an estimate and to discuss my situation. They started the work within a week of D.J.'s visit and tackled the roof vents first. Bob Jordan, another project manager, was my point of contact while D.J. was out of town. Bob was in close touch with me by cell phone to ensure that the work was done in a timely manner and to assure me that the sealing off of the five side vents would be done within a week of installing the roof vents. The side vent work went quite well also. They were all very pleasant, very responsive, efficient, and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again! Vic Tomlinson

Description of Work: Of the two roofing companies I contacted through Angie's List, Ace Roofing responded immediately. Never heard from the second. DJ Shay came out, gave me an estimate for the work, which was to roof a detached workshop. I also asked him to take a look at my porch, which was leaking. He told me the problem and for a small amount in addition to the cost of the workshop, he repaired my leaking porch. DJ is very easy to work with.
