Used the Angie's List deal for service. It took several phone calls and almost a month to get the service scheduled. The amount of members using the deal may be part of the problem, but there was several weeks before there even was an e-mail to address there was a problem. Before getting the deal I called the company to make sure they could replace a fan where the ceiling height was 18'. I also included the same information in an email to describe the work to be performed. When they came, they did not have a ladder to reach the ceiling, so they had to go and rent a ladder. It would have been fine, but I also got charged for the ladder rental. If this was an extra, it should have been communicated.

Aaron arrived when promised. He was very personable, thorough and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. I was very pleased and impressed with his work and would definitely use his company again.

The crew were on time, working smoothly for approximately 2 hours performing all of the tasks. The lead man confirmed what I wanted and asked for more information when he needed it. They were professional and cleaned up the area well.

Considering how much work they had to do, I thought the price was fair and accurate. I have a brother-in-law electrician and he says I got a fair price.

They did good work. It took several attempts to get them out here but they were busy because it was Christmas. I would use them again in the future.

AC Electrics electrician, who was very courteous, was sent over to give an estimate at no charge. He looked over the situation and gave an estimate which I reviewed with my husband and we decided to accept. He returned a few days later and completed the work very efficiently. The fans have worked perfectly!

The owner of AC Electric came to my house to look at a low voltage lighting job. I had several burned out lights, and broken transformers and ballasts. Later, he emailed me the price of one of the transformers, the most expensive one. When I asked him for an estimate of the total job I never heard of him again. The price he gave me ended up being more than twice what that transformer cost. I have since hired an electrician recommended by a friend.

Once Mike Short and I agreed on a date for the work, the electricians came at 8 a.m. and were done and out by 1:30 p.m.. If you need any electrical work done, A. C. Electric is everything you could ever want. They were well UNDER the other two bidders and they gave me 10 percent off because I had a coupon from Angie's List. The guys that did the work stayed busy the whole time. I made them take water breaks in our excessive heat. Well worth the price! I can see why they are the Angie's List super service award winning electricians in this area.

He requested I send him a followup email. He said he might not be able to make it to our home that day, which I said was all right; the circuit had been out for a week and had to wait until I got back from a trip to get fixed. He never responded again after that; no calls to say he was busy or when we might see him. His phone manner was brusque and disinterested. Perhaps our home is too far away for him to bother with (but I'd asked up front if he came out to where we are), he was driving and talking on the phone, or he's more into commercial-scale things, but it's insulting to be totally ignored. I sent the followup email he requested within an hour; in 48 hours there hasn't been another word.

I couldn't have been happier with the professional service provided by Jeff and his associate Aaron, how personable they were and efficient in what they were there to do. As soon as they arrived, I showed them the parts of the house where I had the problems, and each area was assessed and fixed as needed. I was also appreciative that Jeff wanted me to be aware that my outside breaker box was not grounded per the current code but that it was not a necessity that it be changed; I chose to have him correct it while he was here, even though I knew it could have waited, because the additional cost to have it fixed was very reasonable. The existing GFIs in the house were connected somewhat oddly/redundantly, and they fixed those. Jeff also noted that the kitchen needed an additional GFI by the stove, and I had them take care of that, as well. They were both terrific. I was so glad I decided to call AC Electric after seeing their ad in the Angie's List monthly periodical, as well as reading other members' positive experiences with this company. I feel that the things they fixed added greatly to my quality of life around my house for a very reasonable cost. I will definitely contact AC Electric again for any electrical work and would recommend them to anyone else, as well.

Called, Greg picked up the call. The call quality was bad -- statics the whole time that I can barely hear him. Explained the situation. When checking the price, was told $100 for the first 30 minutes and $105 for each hour after. Quite pricy comparing to other providers I called. The worst is when I tried to understand he is going to charge for the first 30 minutes if he decides he cannot fix it, I got hang up. Would not recommend.

Inside outlet was poorly done & required extra time & effort. Price quote, including Angies list discount was honored. Very pleased.

Everything was great. They explained everything they were doing. They had to change some outlets in the hallway, and they worked around my family. Their prices were good, and they were very accommodating. I was happy and would use them again.

I had a very good experience with them. They arrived on-time, were very professional and were in & out within probably an hour and a half. They did exactly what I expected from them. I phoned around for prices and they were not the cheapest initially but then I gave them the opportunity to match the cheapest price that I had and they did match it.

The service went well! They called before arrival and came by on Saturday morning. Turns out we have aluminum wires and a previous owner had installed an additional socket incorrectly using copper wires. Jeff explained this can cause corrosion when not done right and what we smelled was the melting insulating wrap on the aluminum wires. He replaced the socket which had melted and properly spliced the aluminum and copper wires. He was nice enough to recommend a website where we could learn more about aluminum wiring problems.

It could not have been a more satisfying repair experience.

It went really well. They came back and checked there work. They did exactly what we wanted and showed us why they could do it and why they couldn't. They checked the ceilings to make sure the line lights could go in because we are two story. They checked that our duct work was getting in the way. They seemed real professional about everything.

Mike has responded the same day both times I've used him. He is quick and professional. I just had him out for a 2nd time on a new oven Sears couldn't fix. He changed out a bad breaker and didn't even charge me! There is nobody else I will call now when I need electrical work.

My experience with this company was mediocre. It took them a long time to complete the job. They didn't take ownership of problems or issues unless I pointed them out and were difficult to work with. I had to call to follow up to see if the issues were taken care of. If the orders were changed, it seemed to take them a long time to do the change and they charged me by the hour when they were doing that work. There were issues after they had left that the owner had to follow up on.

They were timely. They were very nice. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I felt the price was reasonable and fair.
