Bait traps outside to prevent field mice from coming into the house. | |Normally very happy with the service (and Kevin) but not when I am put off when I call regarding flying red wasps in the house. They normally make an appointment much easier/quicker than this time. Hence the reason for a "B"

Description of Work: Julian arrived right on time and was both professional and very nice. He did a great job. He Installed a new ceiling fan, new overhead light fixture, and dining room chandelier. I would definitely use ABC Home Services again, although the price was a bit on the high side.

Description of Work: Extensive and complicated tree trimming on a heavily wooded property. The work was expertly done, over and above what I expected. Clean-up was thorough and the personnel were polite and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: It was a free inspection of water hookup turn off behind City water meter and investigation of replacement of outdoor faucets and inspection of toilet that seemed to lose water in bowl. Received estimate for all the mentioned work.

Description of Work: I sent a message through Angie's List and didn't get a response. I called the company directly and was put on hold twice without explanation or anyone ever answering my call.

Description of Work: We have used ABC for about 18 years, mainly pest control. They come to our home every other month and check the outside of our home, applying what is necessary to keep unwanted pests away. We have had almost no insects in our home. We have an extremely knowledgeable, professional technician that we like and have requested him for each visit. Very happy with their service!

Description of Work: Last visit was a review for our annual rodent warranty renewal. ABC has been doing our quarterly pest visits for several years. Two years ago, we had them do a rodent service which involved trapping rats in the attic, sealing up the house and then an annual warranty to handle any future problems. They are always send notices of our appointment time a week or two ahead and are very flexible about changing the time to meet our schedule, they show up on time, their personnel are very friendly and go about their work quite quickly and it seems to work as we don't seem to have insects in the house. (of course I don't know if we would have them if we stopped the service either) It just seems the prices are kind of high for the amount of time and materials that seem to be involved. And I get the impression that only a small percentage of the fee goes to the individual making the visit. But I don't know for sure. I just see regular offers for other pest services for less and always wonder what would happen if we stopped the regular visits. |However, I do like their punctuality, their friendly staff, and the lack of bugs in the house so I'll probably keep with them.

Description of Work: We have them scheduled to spray our yard every three month for pest control...we had a problem with fire ants...they seem to be under control now. You never get rid of them completely unless all your neighbour are having their yards treated but I rarely notice them in our yard now...

Description of Work: I used them for pest control. I LOVED them! Super professional and they know their stuff. They tried to sell me on an annual cycle spray but I'm a teacher and can't afford that. I just have to wait until I see bugs and I can afford to kill em! : ) So, the price was high for my small condo, but the bugs are dead and I haven't seen any since and it's been 6 months. I'll call them again in the summer. I learned a lot from the guy too. Expensive, but to me, worth it. Wish they'd send me a coupon so I'd use them more often!
