ABC Home & Commercial Services Company re-treated our entire house for termites. The person who came out spent five times more time with us. I was really impressed with him. We had more attention from them than the other companies that came out to do the bid so we went with them. They guaranteed their work for a much longer time than the others. They had a better warranty. They also cover damage if anything happened. They were most expensive but because of what they cover and what they guarantee in their contract is why I chose them. The person who came out to do the estimate was amazing. I would use them again in the future.

I am very happy with them and I have used them on and off for a number of years since 1989. They come out every other month to do this follow up to prevent any common pest. I am very pleased with their persistence in the past to make sure that the carpenter ants were taken care of.

I liked that their service worked. I would use them again the future.

I like their service. The owner is a really nice woman. They provide a level of quality that is excellent. The workers are passionate about their jobs. There was one service provider that came out who was so into killing pests that it was entertaining.

They will also service my property between normal service dates if I find something like spiders or fire ants ( included in the cost). I have the same service person every time so that really helps too because he knows my property and my dogs so I don't have to remind him of anything.

They are due to come out this month. Their prices have gone up. Since I started using the service about 5 years ago, any bug I've seen in the house is either very sick or dead and that is invaluable to me. If it weren't for these people I would die.

They did a very good job and I do not have any ants. The price was a little high. I wish they would do a service contract to allow the prices to be a little more affordable. The quality of work was great.

It is very dry, but as far as what they did, I would say that they did a really good job as far as what I asked for. They were really professional in who they brought out to my house. They actually sent out an arborist to look at things like bushes and trees. We had a tree that needed to be brought down, the arborist was sent from them. They were very honest as far as what we needed to do. There were no needless costs. We were happy with their work. They did some plumbing work for no consultation fee. The arborist did cost money, but they did what they said they would do and it looks great for what it can look like in Austin. They gave us advice on what to do, and not to do.

My experience with them has been satisfactory, and I would recommend them to others.

I contacted several lawn companies for basic mowing and edging on my property, and ABC was the only one who was able to service the area. Now the actual work itself was mostly fine. They showed up on time and did what they were supposed to. On one occasion my neighbor called me to complain that they had blown all the scraps into his yard. I wasn't there to see this, but he wouldn't lie to me. On another they moved and didn't put my sprinklers back in place. My only real complaints was with the accounting. This is a rental property so I don't live there. When I called in I had them set up my billing address separate from that address, but something went wrong and they kept sending the bills to the rental property. I called back to get this fixed and they messed up the address so I still wasn't getting the bills. Eventually got this squared away and all was well, but it was a pain to talk to three people to get this fixed. Taking my money should be the easy part. And secondly I was misquoted about the monthly price. I was quoted roughly $40 a month, but it is actually $70ish which is a little high for the size of yard I was having mowed. If I had been told $70 up front I would not have gotten the service. Due to the lapse in getting bills I didn't notice the difference until three months had gone by. On the positive, when I called they were out the very next day, and everyone I spoke to on the phone was super friendly. I just called to make my last payment and cancel because my new renters are going to take care of the lawn for me. I spoke with Shaney who was just the sweetest lady you ever could talk to. She didn't try and push me to stay, handled all of my issues promptly and left me feeling very warm and fuzzy about ABC. I'd give them another chance to bid on a larger project if I needed one, I would just make sure they absolutely have my correct billing address before going forward.

After talking with at least 10 companies and having a bad experience with another (see my other reviews), we setup an appointment with ABC to inspect our home and supply a quote. Dick was the inspector and reminded me a lot of my father. Super friendly and approachable, and you could tell he had been doing this for a long time. After his inspection, he explained the openings he found that were being used by the rats to enter and supplied a quote to seal those openings and trap and remove the rats that would still be inside. He was very thorough and the decision to choose ABC was instant. No pressure, no rush and he answered my many questions. And let's face it, cost matters. $425 seemed fair and reasonable when considering the amount of work and time they would spend bocking the openings and returning every 2 days to check traps. Two days later, Juan showed up to set traps and seal the openings. He was on time and super friendly. After a few trips to check traps and remove any rats, they felt the problem was resolved. However, a few days later there were scratching noises coming from the attic or chimney area. ABC was called and they came back right away to do another full inspection and set traps. No complaints, no additional costs, they just did it. It was Juan again and he was as friendly and helpful as the first time. During his second inspection he found a very tiny opening and sealed it. One more rat was caught and the problem now seems to be resolved. Because we are leasing our home to another family, ABC had to deal with our tenants and us. Calls to and from us and to and from the tenants, and never any confusion. I must have called them close to 10 times with questions, and not one time did I feel like I was bothering them. They were super friendly and did everything possible to answer my questions. They even called Jaun and did a three way call so we could ask him questions directly. We were so impressed and highly recommend that you give them a chance to earn your business. Keep it up, ABC!

The electrician, Steve, was prompt, and I had used his ABC services a year before to install two ceiling fans. I had marked the ceiling where I wanted the new lighting fixture to be located, and Steve's laser measurements confirmed that I was almost perfectly on the centered spot. He moved the wiring in the attic, installed a new box, hung the new chandelier at just the right height. I was pleased and would definitely call on ABC Home & Commercial Services again in the future.

Overall, they are very good. They come out here on time and do good work.

The installer showed up promptly as scheduled, spent the amount of time he said it would take, and seemed to do a fine job. The heater worked great. However, when we had the work inspected by the City of Austin (as required, and as prompted by ABC), the inspector found 4 issues that needed to be fixed. ABC came back out and addressed them, without cost or complaint of course, but now it will need to be reinspected. This is a slight inconvenience, as we have to schedule and be at home for extra days for these service people and inspectors to come out. I would have expected that what I think was a standard and simple installation of this very common appliance would have all of its i's dotted and t's crossed.

I had used ABC twice when I first moved to Austin so I knew they would respond and get the work done. I actually had called a different company that I found on Angie's list but did not receive a return call. The control box had stopped working almost 2 weeks ago so I needed it repaired quickly before my lawn became more dead than it was. I reviewed the comments on Angie's to see what had been written recently. The reviews were positive so I called on a Wednesday and was able to get an appointment for Saturday. Josh showed up on time and was able to dig inside the tree root to place a new sprinkler head inside it. Additionally, I knew a new box was needed so that was replaced as well. Josh is a very professional and fast. He was able to complete the work in one hour. Well done Josh... Thank you.

Nothing really stood out to me but they were good.

My A/C had gone out so I called to have someone come take a look at it. They didn't have anybody available for that morning but were able to have someone out a little after lunch time. Turned out the problem was just to be a blown fuse in the cooling unit. It took less that 5 minutes to locate and fix the problem something that I could have fixed myself had I known that there was a fuse located there. I will keep it in mind for next time. I just bought the house a little over a year ago and had no idea when the last time the condenser coils had been cleaned last or even if they had ever been cleaned so while I had someone at the house I decided to get a quote. I was given two quotes one for the coils being cleaned in place and a 2nd for if they needed to be completely removed. I oked the work and it turned out they were fairly dirty. He tested the coils for leaks and then removed them to take them outside and give a good cleaning. The technician who did the work was friendly and professional, I would use them again.

Great experience. ABC was responsive, set traps, ensured there were no raccoons in the attic before sealing the entry path, and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, their work has been fine. They provide a more complete service than the company that was doing the work before. Their professionalism and responsiveness are of a high quality. I would use them again in the future.

They have always been very courteous and they do their job. I have never had any problems with bugs. They come to my home every 4 months.

They came out on June 28th and did an irrigation check. They just basically checked to make sure the sprinklers were working, they didn't adjust the sprinkler heads or dig around them and fill it in so that thewy would stand up straight. Horrible, They came out on June 29th and did the aeration and fertizilation. They guy who aerated the lawn punched a hole in the pvc pipe for my sprinler system and just shut off the water and did not tell us about it. I didn't notice it until Sunday when my sprinklers were scheduled to turn on. They were working on 6/28. I called ABC and got an answering service. No one returned my call until Tuesday, It was 4th of July weekend and they had someone out on Tuesday to fix it, bit it was a horrible customer experience. Why didn't their pewrson tell us?The summer has been horrible and my lawn still looks the same...terrible,I am stuck paying 3 more payments of $95. I would never use them again.

They are always very professional but I think that their price was a little high. I ended up managing the project myself for about half as much. I think they are good if you are looking for a full service.

We will continue to use them.

They are fine and provide good service, and I have no problems with them; I don’t have to worry about termites. I have a contract with them and use them all the time. I pay $160 a year. I never really see them, but I have nothing negative to say about them. I don’t actually need to have them come out because they come out automatically. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
