Our old pool pump was about to go out and I got ABC out here to replace with one of the energy efficient units where I got a $300 rebate from the City of Austin. Robert, who runs the pool division, was my main point of contact, and Chris was the technician who installed the unit. It was a joy to work with Robert, Chris, and ABC. Robert is very knowledgeable in the maintenance and mechanics of pool equipment. I have an older home, so several electrical modifications were necessary to outfit the pool pump installation, the Polaris motor, and pool light. Robert new exactly what to do and how to address the problems. He and Chris were very responsive, professional, and polite. My pool pump installation was a bit more expensive than most, due to the electrical modifications. The new pump is extremely quiet and has several features that are advantageous. Robert took the time to give me a tutorial. I'm anxious to see my electric bill savings. I'd highly recumbent ABC Pool Services as you'll be in good hands with Robert and staff.

We have been very happy with them and will continue to use them in the future.

I was afraid it was chewing through all the wires and insulation in my attic, and I wanted it removed. ABC was the only company that was willing to take on the job since I live in a townhouse that has a shared roof. They set traps in my attic and on the roof, and came out every day for three days to check the traps. They caught the raccoon on the 2nd day, and yet they still kept the traps on the roof just in case. Oddly enough, they ended up trapping a large orange cat in that trap on the 3rd day. Once they caught the raccoon they released it outside of the city and back into the wild. They also released the cat too, of course. They were very conscientious in checking to see if there were any entranceways or any holes or evidence of where the animals were coming in when they evaluated the property.

We don’t have any complaints about them. We are satisfied with them. The charge is $90 a quarter. We done really have much of a problem here so we think that is a good thing. We had one little issues with ants and they took care of it. We are just outside and we don’t have any pest issues. We don’t have a comparison on price.

My number one criticism is that I gave the Supervisor/Estimator a list of work I wanted done, and when he failed to do all the work, pointed at bid and said it wasn't part of bid, so sunk us for another $1200 to complete the work. My number two criticism is that they put all "non-English-speaking" people on the job, so when something came up, they claimed they didn't speak English. Yeah. Sure. I KNOW these guys understood English... it was a way to IGNORE the Customer. I may not speak Spanish, but I do understand it. My number three criticism is that they were constantly pushing wheel-barrows across my plush front lawn, and created an indented 'path' across the lawn. There was a better and more solid access down the greenbelt side of the lawn. Despite telling them to NOT walk across the lawn, they continued to do so. Everytime I spoke to their Supervisor, I lost another thing asked for or it cost me more money. I guess the Customer is NOT always right! Further, they didn't complete the job, and had to be called back. Since when is it okay to leave huge gouges in the lawn where they had to dig up to add irrigation to the new bushes and trees? And although we provided the dirt, had to demand they finish these things and to shore up the edge of the dry creek bed. They seemed intent on doing the absolute minimum possible. I was so frustrated with the poor job they did on the dry creek bed that I finished it myself. Poor distribution of rocks. Didn't extend as far as I asked. Unappealing rock distribution.

The tech who came out to do the job also arrived right on time. Punctuality is very important to me. He, also, was knowledgeable and pleasant. And here is the best part: I don't see any more winged ants! I am a very happy customer.

They did a great job. When we continued to hear noises, they came back out and figured out that we were just hearing the rodents scratching at the screening, trying to get back in (which they will not be able to do). They offered to come back and put repellent around the area on the roof the rodents are trying to get back in through, free of charge.

ABC has been cutting our grass for over a year now and we have always been really happy with their work. They recently came and also cut back some trees and bushes and they look great! Joe was very punctual when he came to give us an estimate and when the team showed up to do the work they were very friendly and responsive!

Diagnoses and arrival of ABC was always on time, however the price was about 40% higher than I expected to replace a small window. Paul did a good job, was professional and punctual but my only complaints are that he does not return voice mails in a timely manner and you have to follow up with him on confirming a scheduled day/time. We had to delay the installation by about 2 weeks because he didn't return an initial call within 3 days before I went out of town and was un-reachable.

This price includes one time complete clean up of the front and back yard, mulch flowerbeds + $66/month of mowing, edging blowing of driveway, sidewalks, porch, and deck. Joe Williams is a great professional. He came to our house and gave us an estimate for a complete clean up of our front and back yard. We just purchased the house and exterior/interior of it was not taken care of during long 5 years. So, you can only imagine the mess Joe's team cleaned for us. The crew of 3 people showed up on time and worked the entire day. Joe came to check the progress of the job. Frankie (I hope I spelled it right) and his crew did an amazing job and I'm more then satisfied with the result.

Our AC died on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. I called several companies for service, but only ABC was able to send out a technician same-day. The technician arrived at the house less than 2 hours from my call. The technician was polite, honest and prompt. He diagnosed and fixed the system within 1 hour of arrival. The unit had a bad capacitor and he had the part on his truck, so was able to replace it on the spot. The house began to cool down immediately. The service cost about $320, but for same day repair and a replacement part on Sunday during a holiday weekend, I did not feel that was excessive. I was very satisfied with the entire experience.

I could not say how it went, we were told that we would be e-mailed our estimate the afternoon of August 22, 2013, we are still waiting on that estimate, maybe we didn't have enough for them to do. I was going to have ABC do the check up's on my heating/air units but since we can't even get an estimate I guess it is time to move along.

Showed up on time and did the service as requested.

They have been very good at attending to my requests and needs. I am currently experiencing some difficutly in addressing my problem with carpenter ants. When the problem arose due to their error, they fixed it at no charge to me.

We have used them for years, they are very dependable and will come out if you see anything.

Stephen caught the little beast that has been hiding from us for almost a year now. Realizing that my recent surgery prevented me from cleaning up the mess and the chewing that the beast had left, Stephen pulled down crates, got all the shredded stuff out. Swept and cleaned and threw away trash and as sweat poured down his face he smiled the entire time. Thanking, Stephen, for his effort he acted as if he had not done anything special. I thought well that didn't take to long. Turning around and looking at the clock I realized that he had spent almost an hour helping me out. Stephen always goes above and beyond the call of duty. I am grateful.

They always have been professional with any of the services they provide. We have them under contract to spray around our home to keep the unwanted critters on their side of the walls. They always notify us several days ahead of time.....they come to the door to let me know they are here.....ask about any problems on the inside.....they have me sign work order when they are done. They tell me all they did, plus any problems they see coming in the future. I have nothing bad to say about them at all after atlease 9 years of service.

ABC Home & Commercial Services are fine. The service technicians are just average. The only problem we've had is road ants and they are just extremely difficult to knock out and they've told us that. I just make up my own bait solution to get rid of them. I had them at our old house so when we moved to this house we continued service. Their past experience stands out to me.

When having ABC perform electrical services always request Steve True (his TRUE name). That is if he is available. He is the best electrician in the ABC family bar none.

First, let me start by saying how difficult it has been getting contractors to even bid our job! We have a half-finished outdoor kitchen, extensive landscaping, and a weed-ridden decomp granite patio to complete -- ASAP! We have a solid budget and have requested 9 contractors to bid... 4 showed up and took down information about the job... 5 weeks later, the ONLY company to give us a bid in writing was ABC Home & Commercial. Not only that - every step so far, they have been professional and expedient! THIS was the first step; plumbing the sink for the outdoor kitchen. I was concerned it would be weeks before the project could be scheduled because that's what the only Angie's List contractor to respond told me. Nope. I called Thursday morning and told them that I was formally accepting their bid, and the plumber (first step) was here Thursday afternoon. The plumber was thoughtful in his application, courteous, and professional. I would definitely call him again. Tile installation is to start next week.

The two florescent lights went out in the garage and new bulbs did not work. The fixture was probably 12 or so years old so I bought a 48" fixture at the local home improvement store and called ABC. They set up an appointment for the next day with their electrical service department. He came out on time and removed the old fixture. The wiring was not up to code so he remedied that problem and then told me the fixture I bought was for a "shop" light which had a cord. He asked if I would like him to do a knock-out which involved wiring directly into the fixture. He was very nice and very professional and it works perfectly.

It went wonderful he found the problem and took care of it and it was all done in one afternoon.

They were great. They came out right away and they solved the problem on their first visit. A year later, it looked like there may have been a recurrence. They came out but they did not find anything. It was a false alarm, but I was so glad they could get out here in a moment’s notice and they treated the visit professionally and seriously. They give you home a thorough inspection, seal up your house, and will keep coming back until the problem is gone. I have found them to be very effective.
