The reason for my overall rating of "B" is because the day the countertop was supposed to be installed, I received a call telling me they had dropped my slab and broke it. This accident caused a weeks delay in the completion of my kitchen project.

I loved working with AAA Stone Works. I love my granite countertops and everyone that sees them loves them as well. The AAA team was so amazing to work with. They did everything they said they would and even quickly resolved a small issue I had without batting an eyes. I found granite at their showroom that I could not find anywhere else. Absolutely amazing materials.

Steve and Marlyn gave us our nice countertop. Their work is detailed and most of all they are very helpful and responsive. The amount of time they needed to draw and cut our countertop is the fastest than others (we went to several places and they told us 2 weeks). AAA did it in a week.

Description of Work: Have had work done by AAA Stoneworks before. They gave me an estimate for about 118 sq ft of base-level granite install in a kitchen not including the removal of the old countertop. They do good work, but was more expensive than the company that I ended up going with.

10From start to finish, Jason and his team were excellent. Their aid in locating the perfect granite was consistent and always there when we needed it. They were patient as were reviewed the myriad options for all our surfaces. When we located the granite, the pricing we received from Jason was far below budget but the quality was exceptional. We had used 2 other granite providers to help source our counters previously to engaging with Jason. He was recommended to us by a mutual accountant, Southwest Business Assoc. The others just showed us samples of their stock that would fit our budget. None of it fit our vision or preferences. Jason and his team showed us granite fit our design criteria and color palette. We received excellent pricing from Austin Granite and Marble for the raw materials based on Jason's agreement with them. It put a formerly out of budget granite well within budget. The same can be said for the carrara marble for our master bath. Lastly, he helped keep our budget in line by finding a and quot;scrapand quot; piece from his own cutting yard that fit exactly in our kid's bath in color and size. Jason engineered our kitchen and butler pantry cuttings so we only required 2 slabs. All others told us it would require 3. Our master was accomplished with only a single slab which includes a tub surround, 2 counters and a bath seat. This is an important issue to consider with any granite supplier. A homeowner pays for the raw granite per slab. Reducing the raw slab requirements saves thousands possibly. This is our 3rd home in Austin we have remodeled. Jason is our 4th granite supplier. He will be our only one for any future granite purchases.

My experience with Jason Yates and Rick on his staff could not have been better. I made several trips to the yard to find remnants to complete a master bath update. Each time, Rick was patient and responsive, pulling several pieces for me to examine. I changed the details in the design several times, and Jason (the owner) revised the quote accordingly. When the final slab was selected, Rick worked with me to layout the cuts so that areas in the granite could be emphasized or avoided. On the day of installation, the crew did an excellent job. I especially appreciated their expertise in camouflaging a planned seam. Following installation, I encountered a problem with the two sinks due to mismatched products from another vendor. When trying to find the source of the problem, I anxiously left messages for Jason Yates and he returned the call on a Sunday! Ultimately, it was determined that the sink issue was NOT related in any way to AAA Stone Works, but did require his crew to come out again, remove the sinks, and install the new ones. This was scheduled, and the crew did a great job on the sink reinstallation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is looking for granite or quartz to complete a project. They model great customer service even though I was a single (as opposed to a high-volume) purchaser.

It was not pretty. On the very first day, while demo-ing the master bathroom they broke off one of the cut-off valves and had not turned the water off. Needless to say it flooded the bathroom, and about half of the master bedroom. They did get a professional water removal company to dry us out (3 days of very loud fans and dehumidifiers). The granite slab in the master bath is not level. The first tile installer left after one day and took several days for them to get a replacement. None of the crew worked directly for the company. All crew members were just "handy man" types, non-professional. We found this company at one of Austin's Home and Garden shows and they portrayed themselves and much more professional than they are.
Description of Work: Remove countertops, faucets and sinks from two bathrooms. Remove carpet and tile from Master bathroom. Installed granite counter tops in both bathrooms. Installed new sinks (4) in both bathrooms. Installed new faucets in Master bathroom. Re-installed faucets in second bathroom. Installed new porcelain tile on Master bathroom floor.

Response from AAA Stone Works
The only true fact of this statement is the fact that a valve broke during demolition and caused the house to flood. I hired a professional water extraction service to ensure that all damages were repaired properly. All of my workers have always been employees and never sub contractors. All issues were resolved to the customers satisfaction before we left the job on the last day otherwise we would have taken care of them.
