Sal is the owner of AAA Handyman Home Improvement and did a awesome job. I have a new puppy and she chewed the side of a wall including eating off all the drywall. I called Sal late that night and he responded immediately. He came the next day evaluated the damage and was very affordable. He rebuilt the side of the wall that my puppy chewed and repainted it. When he finished it looked like nothing had ever happened. I highly recommend Sal and will definitely use him in the future.

The project went very well. Sal worked around my schedule to come out and look at the job. We scheduled the work and Sal removed all the damaged drywall until he reached undamaged drywall. Prior to his work, he set up sheets of plastic to minimize the spread of dust. He replaced the drywall and repainted all the replacement areas. Sal did a great job of cleaning up during and after the job. The ceiling was completely restored and it is very difficult to tell where the drywall has been replaced. Sal is very easy to work with and I would call him again for future projects!

Sal is a very nice man and does a great job. I plan to have him do more of the handyman type of work for me in the very near future. I would highly recommend him for drywall work.

Sal was absolutely wonderful. We had several large drywall cracks that had been poorly repaired a few years before. Sal came to give an estimate and thoroughly went over not just where the cracks were but addressed issues in the construction of our house that led to the cracks. Specifically, he said the builders had used nails in some key places instead of screws. He spent the next few days reinforcing the drywall and expertly repairing them. He even went above and beyond to control dust and mess since we had an infant in the house. Sal truly cares about the quality of the work he does and leaving his customers completely satisfied. I will absolutely be calling on him I the future if we ever have additional issues.

The work that needs to be done is not something Sal specializes in. He gave me good advice on how to proceed.

Sal took a couple of days to complete a significant amount of work. He worked as long as possible each day to make sure it was all done within the two days. The drywall looks excellent and he was able to match the texture and paint perfectly. He found a door frame piece that matched the rest of the frame, which is definitely a challenge, and made it look just like the original. The towel racks are much more secure than before because he did it the right way and didn't take shortcuts. All of Sal's work is done the right way with great attention to detail. Not only that, but if you're willing to learn, he's more than happy to explain what he's doing and how he's doing it. He's a very nice guy and cares about doing a good job for his customers. That's a trait that is really hard to find these days. I would use him again and probably will be using him again for more projects around the house.

Sal did an excellent job! Sal gave me a quote the same day I called him, and started working the next day. I was on a tight schedule, and he finished the 5-day-work in only 3 days. Most importantly. The ceiling is repaired beautifully, and I can never tell there used to be a couple of holes there. In all, Sal is responsible, hardworking, and skillful and I will sure recommend him to my family and friends.

Sal repaired numerous holes in our kitchen ceiling and removed popcorn ceiling. After those repairs he touched up the paint on the ceiling. He matched the ceiling texture and did a perfect job.

I contacted AAA late Friday and quickly got a response Saturday morning that Sal could come by a give us a quote that day. We asked for quotes for several projects we were considering and Sal was very helpful with making recommendations and suggestions even for other DIY projects we had underway. Sal was able to do the job that same week which was great as we were on a tight schedule. He arrived when he said he would and did an excellent job. He took his time and was very careful with making sure he protected the surroundings from getting mud and paint texture on them. He once again offered more great suggestions on the different projects we had underway and showed a genuine interest in helping us regardless if we chose to hire him to do the work. Great guy and excellent work! Would hire again without hesitation.

The owner Sal performed all the work himself. We were on a tight schedule and he showed up promptly and was diligent about completing the job. He was very professional and told us all the issues that was causing the cracks to appear and then widen. He removed all the failed attempts by other people to fix the problem and was meticulous about his work. In the end, the ceiling looks brand new. Sal is a gentleman and a pleasure to have work on my home. I highly recommend him.

I had a water leak in the ceiling in my kitchen. To repair the leak, a section of the ceiling had to be removed. I contacted AAA to get a bid to repair the ceiling. I actually on a Sunday and left a message. Mr Love contacted me Monday morning, set up an appointment, and was at my house by 10:30 AM. After explaining in detail what needed to be done and giving me a price, I decided to go with AAA. He proceeded to do the repair the same day. I am very satisfied with the job. You can not see where the repair was made. Mr. Love was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend AAA for any drywall work.

Mr. Love went out of his way to repair a broken kitchen drawer for me. This was a small job for him but, he treated it as if it were a major job, he worked all Saturday afternoon, even coming back to make sure the job was complete. He went out of his way to make sure the work was done right. He arrived on time and was completely professional. I was extremely impressed with his work ethic. He was great!

Our home is located outside of Manor, Texas and sits squarely on the infamous clay soil. Due to the constant expansion/contraction of the soil, it's common for homes in the area to develop cracks in the sheetrock. After the really terrible drought three years ago (when Bastrop burned), we had cracks appear in almost every room in the house. When it came time to finally take this huge project on, we relied on Angie's list to review contractors. We selected AAA Handyman Home Improvement and it's owner, Sal Love, based on the excellent reviews he has received. It was the best decision we'd made in a long, long time. Sal is a one-man operation. The upside of that is you have one point of contact, and he is responsible for all aspects of the job- NO sub-contractors to have to fight with! The downside, which is slight, is that it takes a little longer for the work to complete. But please note that it also means that the work he performs is excellent and, just as importantly, it's done correctly the first time. We posed some serious problems for Sal- a steep and very tall turning stairway that needed attention to the sheetrock along the very top of the wall and ceiling; a second floor office with a cathedral ceiling almost 20 feet tall which needed repairs EVERYWHERE, especially the ceiling. This required quite a bit of engineering on Sal's part to rig to scaffolding and ladders to reach up that high, but he managed to pull it off. We also had to match paint for several rooms and Sal was very particular (thank GOD) about getting the closest match to the original color as we could (unlike a lot of other contractors we've dealt with in the past.) Sal has been working on our house now for almost a month and has made repairs to the family room, kitchen, formal dining room, two hallways, three bedrooms, the great room, two offices, a loft space, a 10x10 pantry and a large mud/utility room. He will also be working on our garage. The house looks amazing again, thanks to his excellent work. We are EXTREMELY pleased with Sal and his old-world approach to doing a job correctly and for a very fair price. He's open, friendly, courteous, takes extreme care in cleaning up any mess that gets made and performs repairs that will last forever. We will absolutely use his services again in the future. I felt like he was only coming over to give me an estimate, and not to perform any work.

They were nearby and could come in a reasonable amount of time. They came and did the work and did what they said they would do.

After living in our home for 16 years and experiencing a little settling during the drought we needed some repairs beyond my limited capabilities. Enter Sal Love. Craftsmanship is not dead. He has over thirty years experience and it shows in the finished product. He is very meticulous, even redoing a few tasks that didn't satisfy him. He works hard. He was in my house for the last two weeks and I never saw him take a break or stop for lunch. He is a professional in every respect. He cleaned up his current work area at the end of each day. His fee is very reasonable. He came in slightly under what I had estimated it would cost. I was so pleased with his work that I have already scheduled to have him return and do a major project in my garage. That's another thing. He only takes on the next job or two. He does not run off to bid on another job while he's working on yours. You may have to wait to employ him on your project but it's worth it. You can probably tell that I'm very pleased to have found someone with the skill and work ethic that is Sal Love. On top of everything else, he is a fine person and a pleasure to be around.

He was super careful to tape off and protect everything around where he was working. He kept his materials orderly, in a small space and cleaned up after himself. It may take a bit of time to get on the schedule, but totally worth it. His quality of work is excellent.

Called AAA Handyman to repair damage done by counter install crew. Sal was wonderful! What a delight to work with! He came to complete the job a day after the estimate. He is so creative and talented. He fixed the botched job from the other company look like a custom job. After 2 months of kitchen remodeling and countless contractors in my house, it was so refreshing to see the care and time that he took to make everything look perfect. I could not be happier. I will definitely use Sal again!

I tried to caulk my shower and made a huge mess of it! I called Sal and he was out the same day! He did a great job! He is so professional and has many years of experience. I plan on calling him BEFORE I start a home improvement project that causes me and my family UNNECESSARY STRESS! Thank you Sal!

Sal is WONDERFUL! He came by for an estimate the day I contacted him. He then followed up with a text on the estimate and the timeframe he can come by to do the actual work. Sal is very professional and very detailed oriented. Though the work took longer then I thought, I didn't mind as Sal is such a nice man, and fun to chat with. He advised on a few maintenance things I should do around the house in the process. Overall, the work was done very nicely. I did noticed a couple of handles that weren't aligned between the two cabinet doors, but I was able to easily unscrew them and adjustedthem myself. My cabinets look awesome now with the new hardware, thanks to Sal! I will be contacting Sal again for more work in the future. I highly recommend him!

The ceiling looks better than it did prior to the water damage! Seriously! He removed all of the damaged sheet rock. Replaced with new. Painted the ceiling...blending in with the uneffected areas. The walls are 2 different colors. He took the time to go to the store to match up the paint with original colors. He bought new insulation for the attic. My daughter loves her room. He is clear and detailed the services that needed to take He was very conscious about providing the highest level of quality work and customer service. I would hire him again and would DEFINITELY recommend him to my friends and others! Extremely pleased with Sal and his professionalism!

We recently purchased bedroom furniture for my daughter. The dresser with mirror was water damaged. Sal refinished the surface to match the original color and texture of the furniture. The work is brilliant. Sal also repaired the front door lock and handle to ensure that the door and lock were secure. This also required painting the outside of the door. The work he provided on the door eliminated larger expense that could have resulted from taking no action. Sal is AWESOME! He takes great pride in the quality of services he provides. I would definitely recommend him!!

Sal is a throwback. I mean that in the best way possible. He was professional, gave me a fair analysis of my problem, set my expectations to the work that would be needed, and completed everything with the utmost care for his surroundings (the other furniture and items in the room) and the quality of the job. That is why I call him a "throwback", as he reminds me of the time when people took pride in their work and wanted to produce the best work possible. I can't imagine anyone being able to do a better job of blending a patched section of drywall in with the existing wall. He matched the texture perfectly! Then he also primed and painted it, as well as installing the new baseboard and painting that. It is truly a magnificent job, and I highly recommend AAA to anyone.

Sal met me at my home and provided me with a detailed description of the work that needed to be done as well as his plan to accomplish it. On the day that work was to begin Sal showed up early in the morning and proceeded to quickly get the job done in a quality manner. I am very satisfied with all aspects of Sal's work from the bidding process through job completion.
