Description of Work: Mr. Love suggested that he fix my existing lock on my front door instead of replacing with a new lock that I bought which saved me money. He also took the old lock to a lock smith and had new keys made for the front door that I needed to get during his lunch hour. I appreciate that he did more than I expected him to do trying to help me. Thank you.

+ 4 moreI had made a list of numerous items that needed repair. He also met with my housekeeper who had more things to add to the list. Sal bought all the supplies needed to do the jobs. He came and worked diligently for several days until all things were repaired. I was extremely happy with his work, his honesty and integrity. I will not hesitate to hire him again for any other things I need done around our house.
Description of Work: Repaired hole in drywall, touched up with paint and I can't even see where the hole was. While replacing a broken switchplate cover, Sal discovered that a switch was dangerously hot. He replaced the switch and recommended low voltage bulbs for the overloaded switch. This could have caused a fire had he not noticed it! Repaired holes in grout on exterior rock work around back deck. Found numerous places where mice and small critters could get inside the walls. Replaced the torn screen of exterior sliding door. Devised a clever way to protect the screen from future tears from dogs. Secured a built-in granited desk top that had become loose. Installed a transition strip between a carpeted area and a tiled area. Installed a new toilet seat cover. Repaired glass shower door that did not close completely.

+ 2 moreSal Love sanded and then stained with multiple coats my wife's buffet that is about 100 years old, belonging originally to her great-grandmother. He then put multiple coats of gloss on the buffet and it looks absolutely gorgeous. We have used Sal a number of times now and will do so in the future whenever we need a handyman. He is honest and very, very reasonable in his price.
Description of Work: Sal Love had previously refinished my wife's great-grandmother's dining room table with 4 leaves and did a WONDERFUL job. The table is just beautifully restored. We then asked Sal to also do the matching buffet and he refinished/restored the buffet to a beautiful glossy finish. He also repaired one of the buffet's doors that were broken. He then saw that I had a damaged side door to my garage that was unable to be locked. So he fixed and repaired the door so the deadbolt doorknob lock would work. He lowered the deadbolt and doorlock on the side panel and restained the damaged area to look very nice.

+ 14 moreI met Sal Love November of 2009 when he was assigned by another company to repair sheetrock in my garage ceiling that was damaged due to water leakage. Sal did a masterful job of installing new sheetrock, painting and putting new popcorn ceiling. I contacted Sal to give bid on remodeling our guest bathroom, including taking off the wallpaper and popcorn ceiling, texturing the walls and ceiling in mediterranean finish, replacing all the fixtures in the guest bath and the master bath, refinishing all the cabinets in both baths, removing the old grout and replacing it with new grout in the guest bath. Sal did a masterful job in all areas of the work. We couldn't get new tub fixtures that were compatible with the old fixtures (house was built in 1976), so Sal suggested he paint some inexpensive new fixtures that were compatible. This saved us hundreds of dollars. Also, we had a leak in the bath that we thought would require removal of our bath tile, but Sal found the leak and we didn't have to remove the tile - that also saved us hundreds of dollars. Sal looks for ways to save the consumer money! I have now engaged him to do another job of refinishing my wife's great-grandmother's dining room table,and 6 chairs, at least from the mid 1800's, of exquisite intricacies. I could leave the house for most of the day without concern for anything and knowing that Sal was completely honest and reliable. I highly recommend him for general handyman type work and will use him as often as possible.
Description of Work: Sal Love, owner of AAA Sheetrock, remodeled our guest bathroom and refinished our master bath. He removed the popcorn ceiling, took off all the wallpaper, textured the walls in a beautiful mediterranean finish, restained all our cabinets, installed new fixtures in two bathtubs and 4 lavatories, took out the old grout and put in new grout in our floor tiles, made a new frame for our big guest bathroom mirror, and installed new lighting fixtures as well. When we could not get new fixtures that would work for our old house in the bathtub fixtures, Sal blended two different paints for the tub fixtures and painted them to match the new lavatory colors.
