A complete disaster! Our pool took less time to complete than the sprinkler and landscape lighting replacement. Having used this company before for minor sprinkler repair and been happy with their efforts, we felt comfortable in asking them to complete this job. Unfortunately, the company is now a one-man show and the job was clearly too large for the owner to handle. He would turn up one afternoon and then not be seen for a few days - on other days he would bring in day-laborers or family members to help with the heavy activities. He claimed he needed cash up front in order to purchase components (that should have set alarm bells ringing but we had already begun working with him). He would continually forget tasks that needed to be done, so we would go days before a small section of irrigation would be in working order. Having taken 5 weeks to "complete" the job, we are now left with an irrigation system that does not work at all - meanwhile, Glenn Hollenbeck, the owner, refuses to return calls requesting him to fix the issues. It's the most shoddy, unprofessional piece of business that I've had the mispleasure to be involved in.

Had made appointment with Glen from A-Z irrigation to get a quote for an irrigation system. We were running a little late so I left a voicemail message indicating that we were running late. Glen never showed up for the appointment and never returned my call.

When he came out the first time, he gave me an estimate of $475 for all of the work. We agreed that he would come back and install it the next week, as we were going out of town. He didn't show up on time, but came several hours after I called him. He and coworker did work hard, but at the end when he gave me the bill, it was for $775, $300 more than the quote. After arguing about it (which I HATE), he agreed to take $600. Then, we found out the sprinklers were set to run on the wrong days and had to be reprogrammed. He had also left one head so that it was watering our neighbor's yard instead of ours.

I'm not sure who made the mistake, but they missed the initial appointment time and didn't have it on their schedule (I'm not sure because we have 4 small children and live with a fair amount of chaos). Even though there is a greater than 50% that we wrote the time down wrong, they took ownership of the problem and had someone to our house in less than 3 hours. They gave us a bid and had a crew out 3 days later. The crew was very quality focused. Once the work began they found additional heads that needed to be raised, lowered or replaced. They did the additional work without additional cost. Over all... we were very impressed!

There were things that needed to be fixed and he fixed them right away. We needed a lot of new parts. He is fabulous. He is not the cheapest, but he's not outrageous. He knows his stuff and is courteous. He's the kind of guy you want to do business with. We have almost an acre on the irrigation system, through woods, hills, and botanical area and it is a lot to cover.

We are very satisfied and would highly recommend A-Z to family and friends.
