Lack of communication. Likes to hang cabinets on wall then stain cabinets and finish walls. Had to repaint wall again after floating.

James and his crew did a great job uninstalling the manufactured wood in our dining room and installing wood look porcelain planks. I wanted someone who would provide only labor since we had already picked out out tile, and he fit the bill. Communication was good throughout the process. I would use him again.

We had water damage on our previous laminate floor and had a mitigation crew come out to remove it and dry the floor. We spent at least two months looking at floors and receiving quotes. I randomly visited home advisor and got a call from A+. Prompt, professional, and no non-sense. We had nearly 500 sq ft. of engineered acacia hardwood (which I recommend considering for bedrooms etc.) installed in three bedrooms. We are extremely happy with the finished product and the installation process. There were a couple of punch list items (minor glue spots and transition strip was popping up a little but due to our substrate not the strip or workmanship) BUT they came back out and took care of it. If you want the good customer service, experience, good value then call them. Albeit, we only had 500 sq ft. of flooring, the workmanship communication was great as if it were a large job.

We have used the services of James and his crew for 3 projects, including updating and remodeling to newly-purchased home, master bath renovations, kitchen remodeling, and expanding an outside deck. Work included paint, flooring, expansion of shower, tile work, counters, electrical, lighting, etc. James is always dependable and precise with his work. We were very pleased with all aspects of the work he has done and will certainly continue to use his services in the future.

Great overall experience with James and A+ Renovations. Like most projects my scope on what we wanted completed grew as we looked at how we could improve a home we had just bought. James was involved from day one in helping us make decisions that added value. James kept me updated on delays or things I needed to come over to review progress on. I did a complete kitchen, multiple bathroom, and all tile remodel, along with brand new cabinets throughout the house. We have a few minor cleanup things to have taken care of now that we have been in the house for a few months, but overall very happy with the experience along with the result.

The tile guy began by placing the tiles in the wrong direction and when confronted, he didn't seem too happy and argued with my wife about it. He also seemed to be in a hurry which usually leads to mistakes. There are a few tiles that could have been cut more accurately and left a larger grout space but over all I am happy with the work he provided. Trevor, the estimator, was extremely nice and even came out to assist with grouting when a helper did not show up in order to make the project deadline. I would use A+ Renovations again.

They always returned calls and they did the work in an efficient manner and were attentive. Quality workmanship. I will definitely use them again.

The thing that was so impressive besides the quality of the work was their attention to detail. The timeliness and customer service was top notch.

Am thoroughly pleased with the result. James and his crew delivered more than what I anticipated. His suggestions were always appreciated and enhanced the outcome. Work was done in the promised time frame (some delays due to weather). He always kept me informed of the schedule and progress. Most definitely would hire him again!
