Overall our meeting with Kevin Riley, representing as owner/operator of A DONE RIGHT PEST CONTROL, was outstanding in every way. The quality of his professional service is without a doubt the best we have ever had, and we've had regular pest-control service as a matter of upkeep on every home where we have lived during the past 40 years. For the whole story, please see above what I wrote in detail about our encounter with him and the service he performed from beginning to end because I did not look ahead and see that I would have another opportunity to give the full extent of our experience with him when I began this report.
Description of Work: We contacted Kevin Riley, owner & operator of A Done Right Pest Contol by the phone number given in his advertisement. We had to leave a message as he was away from his phone, servicing another customer, but he called back within an hour and a half. He was very pleasant and professional, asking what specific problems we were experiencing and telling us what he was able to do. We put him on the speaker phone, and my husband and I enjoyed our conversation with him because he is very personable and because he was easily conversant with the various problems we were having and those we suspected could become a problem if we did not take the offensive to prevent them. Kevin made an appointment with us within the week and arrived only four minutes late after taking a wrong turn and then correcting it quickly in our neighborhood which is confusing to navigate even for those who have driven in this vicintity several times! We were impressed that he had been so quick thinking as to realize and correct his error withing moments, and his honesty was, to us, exemplified by his ability to tell us truthfully of his experience and let us laugh WITH him. He is a charming man of good humor which is so needed from service providers in this day and time when business is all too often so cut and dried that most people don't seem to have time to be friendly! As asked, Kevin made a thorough inspection of our premisis, both indoors -- including the attic -- and out (which was quite a feat on our 101 degree afternoon when he came). Indoors, he inspected every possible crevice where we could have any entries for pests of any kind (including plumbing areas and hidden, empty-space areas) and reported that we have few worries but told us a couple of ways to avoid having problems in the future. He even explained why certain areas of the construction of our house help to prevent the sort of pest activities that others may encounter. After the thorough inspection and meticulous treatment of all areas of our house, both indoors and out, he asked if we had any concerns that we had not had an opportunity to address. We told him that because of the many, many cardboard boxes we have about the house in inside our garage, awaiting our unpacking as we move and get settled into our relatively new house, we were concerned that we may have brought the eggs of six and eight-legged creatures with us (even scorpions!), and he gave us specific products that we could use to treat for any such creatures or eggs of such that we might find. He inspired much confidence in his ability. We were so pleased with his service that we signed a contract of a year of service from him, with his returning every three months, inspecting again and giving us full treatment for $80 each visit. However, he also said to feel free to phone him at ANY time between regular services if we need him, and he will come AT NO CHARGE. As we have moved from a country home to a city home, we enjoyed sharing stories with him for a few minutes and groaning in a laughing manner at some of the problems one may encounter in such a setting. He shared with us the story of the lady who had a squirrel problem which I had read in capsule form on Angie's List that another of his customers wrote. In telling us the whole story, he proved to us that if he doesn't have an immediate solution to a pest problem, he will stay on it until he does! We would not hesitate to recommend Kevin Riley and his business, A DONE RIGHT PEST CONTROL, to anyone! Kevin is knowledgable about his trade, genuinely concerned about his customers and their problems, truly desirous of pleasing those who call on him for his pest control expertise to the extent that he goes the first, second, or third mile to accommodate them, As indicated, he is easily conversant (and his explannations are easy to understand because of his presentation of them) and very pleasant to engage in discussion. This being our first treatment, it is way too early to say so, but from my first impression, regarding his character that I gathered from his spoken ideals, I would anticipate that in the future he may very well become one of those rare service providers to whom we would give the key to our house (rather than reschedulting) so that he could see to its treatment in a timely fashion in the event we should have to be away when service is due. He's ourtatnding in his profession, in the way he treats others, and in his character as judged by our first meeting. Now THAT'S a ringing endorsement!
