It took SIX WEEKS to get one motorized honeycomb shade replaced after it broke (2 weeks after original installation). Worst customer service ever.

Comprehensive breakdown as to why we had a horrible experience with this Connor (ATX) and his "team" purchasing 7 woven straw blinds + 3 woven linen blinds. Where do I begin... - When asked why they can't show us a digital mock up of the job: "our company prefers to invest in it's employees first before the technology." Man, we should have stopped here. This was the first red flag. - Zero contact between when they got my money ($6.5k) and the day before their 3rd party installer wanted to do the job. No updates over 3 weeks... (not 3 days) - 3rd party installer came alone, finished the job in about an hour while I was on a work call, never once knocked on the door of my office to let me know he was done or to come take a look... he just left. 2 key problems here: - ***Installer hauled away our existing blinds even though we explicitly asked (and elected for in the CONTRACT) for the previous blinds to be left with us. - ***The blinds were crooked and the installer needs to come back to correct 6 of the 10 blinds - Warranty and workmanship guarantee means 3 day blinds needs to fix this asap but we have been completed ghosted - My partner spent just shy of 3 hours on the phone with a passive aggressive customer service rep asking why they had hauled away, and essentially stolen, the previous blinds worth thousands of dollars. Zero solutions were provided other than "I will have management call you on Monday (within 48 business hours). .... we never received a call. And now our sales rep Connor is not responding at all to our messages. - oh wait... I haven't even mentioned that we do not care for the actual blinds at all. I'd give them a solid 5.75/10 - The mechanism that you use to slide them up and down is cheap and ineffective and the woven straw blinds we have are a terrible choice in hindsight We have a feeling they are trying to wait out the 30 day period they have to correct these issues. This is an attempt to see if the squeaky wheel gets the grease and if this review is still up, that means that Connor and his "team" has still not taken accountability for their poor work and shoddy 3rd party relationships. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you do not give 3 Day Blinds your business. This is the single biggest mistake we have made in our new home. We are contemplating legal action.

The shades were not installed because the wrong phone number had been put into the computer for the shades. (But the phone number for the shutters was correct.) 3-days blinds is going to refund $300 to me for this error.
Description of Work: Gail Connolly was design consultant. On March 7 I ordered 5 shutters which were installed 7 weeks later and are satisfactory. Same day I ordered 3 three Roman shades. I would have ordered more, but the selection of fabrics was very limited. I have windows that are curved at the top. I asked Gail if shades can be made to fit curved windows. She replied "no". I learned the next week that shades can be made for curved windows if a template is used. I called Gail to report what I had learned. It was then that she admitted that shades for curved windows can be made, but 3-day blinds does not make them. I would have appreciated this latter reply when I asked about shades on March 7. By May 7 I had not received the shades I ordered. I called Gail twice and left messages about the shades, which were not returned. Finally with the third call I got a hold of Gail to tell her I did not have my shades. She was unaware of this oversight. (She did not followed up with me on the shutters or shades to see I if I had received them merchandise I paid for and if I was happy with the window covers. I never heard from Gail again. Two weeks later I called the Irvine, CA office to report my experience and they found the problem and installed the shades, but Gail ordered the wrong hardware for one of the shades

Absolutely horrible. The installation company never called, as they claimed thye could not tell what 3 Day Blind orders were for which 3 Day Blind customer because of problems with the 3 Day Blinds computer system. Numerous calls to 3 Day Blinds and the sales representative we dealt with, continued with apologies and promises that the blinds would be installed shortly. Several weeks later, an installer actually showed up. He was quite proficient and got the blinds installed very quickly, but he was short one blind and several had been damaged in shipment or were missing parts. He explained that they had been installing blinds for years for Home Depot and Lowes, but started installing for 3 Day Blinds only a few months earlier. He related that it was his experience of many years that both Home Depot and Lowes provided great customer service on the blinds, but that 3 Days Blind was terrible for customers and his company to deal with. (with Home Depot and Lowes, HE would have done the measuring and the counting, not a sales person) Our experience with 3 Day Blinds got even worse. We had to re-order the one additional blind that the sales representative had dropped from our order and they charged an entire additional installation fee for the one blind. We complained to 3 Day Blinds Corporate Offices and at first they were sympathetic, but eventually stopped responding to us. We are in the process of complaining to the Better Business Bureau as well. WE WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WOULD WARN EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Besides the poor customer service, the product itself is inferior, very poor quality/workmanship and upon checking prices through Home Depot and Lowes, we found that we paid approximately twice what it would have cost us at these two suppliers.
Description of Work: We contacted 3 Day Blinds in order to obtain lateral blinds for all 13 of our newly installed windows in our newly renovated home. Additionally, we needed a roman shade for one exterior door. The woman from 3 Day Blinds showed up, late, measured all of the windows (we thought) and then sat down at our dining room table and prepared an estimate. She kept getting the estimate wrong, due to "glitches with her computer system". We had to keep making photocopies for her as she ran out of paper for her printer. After several hours, she said that she would rewrite the order at home and email it to us the next day. In hind-sight, we should have run for hills then and not proceeded with 3 Day Blinds, but we wanted to coverings on the windows as quickly as possible as we were living in a fish bowl. Several days later we finally received the paperwork. Due to the messed up paperwork and numerous croos-outs and “re-do’s”, we neglected to notice that she had “dropped” one of the windows from our order, so the order was eventually delivered, short one blind. We did eventually end up with all of the blinds and the roman shade, but it was a complete horror story.

I would never use them again. I didn't get what I was expecting. They wouldn’t take an order for only one blind. But I just was not happy with their services. Only one bind fits. First, one girl came out. Then they sent a guy to try to rectify the problem she created. I would not recommend them.
Description of Work: I used 3 Day Blinds for window treatments. I had two arch windows and a small rectangular window, and they made a blind for those windows.

Dropped by the 3 Day Blinds outlet at the Great Indoors to look at window treatment. No one was there manning the outlet but I spent time looking at the options by myself, took cell phone picture of displayed samples and took card of one of the consultants. Called consultant and set up an appointment quickly for consultant to come by my house. At time of appointment, she was late and it turned out that she had written down both my address and telephone # incorrectly so that, not only was she over 30 minutes late, she couldn't call me to fix the problem. When she came in I knew more or less what I wanted and she brought in the appropriate books and we looked through them. She seemed somewhat scattered and didn't really ask questions about my needs, colors, etc. That was OK. She went off to measure (10 long, large windows and 2 doors) and then set up her laptop to get me a quote. She had quite a bit of trouble doing this and told me one number(I was paying in full by check), realized a mistake, had me write another check, had another mistake (very small #'s in mistake), had me write another, but then I asked if she made sure she got the second door. She hadn't so I tore up the second check and wrote a third. Later I realized she had not asked me about headers or valances or whatever they call them which I probably didn't want but might have considered. The next stage was that the installer/measurer would call me to come by and take exact measurements. He was able to do so in a couple of days. He was great, very efficient, polite, etc. After not hearing anything for 10 business days I called the sales consultant and asked if she had heard anything about shipment. She stated that the installer would call me when the coverings came in and set up an install date. Fine, however, I would have expected a more savvy sales person to say something like, "Well, I haven't seen anything but I will run this down for you and see if I can get an update". I had spent what I considered a significant amount of money to be so casually dismissed. I also reminded her that she was supposed to send me an email of invoice(I have yet to receive it). Anyway, the blinds did come in 3 or 4 days later and I set up the install date. The same guy came back, did a great job. I had no problems with any of the windows, he was very professional and did his job quickly and well. I have never heard back from the sales consultant to ask me if I was satisfied, if there was anything further I needed, or to say thanks again for your business. Despite my misgivings about the sales rep , I love the product and am very happy with the way they look. Loved the installer. However, if you are a person who needs some serious input from a design/sales rep, 3 Day Blinds is probably not the way to go. Or, make sure that you go to a location where people are on site all the time or have regular posted hours so that you can get a feel for who is helping you.
Description of Work: Replaced window treatments in 3 areas--master bedroom, den and breakfast room with cellular shades that had essentially two "looks" in one shade-a translucent sheer or light filtering and a room darkening.
