Description of Work: Gary and his crew at 21st Century Roofing and Painting did a great job. My home had a leak in the ceiling. My home required my ceiling to be repainted and a new roof. Gary was very knowledgeable about how the insurance claim process would work and he was patient when explaining everything to me. Despite scheduling issues due to our rainy winter/spring weather, I now have a really nice new roof and I am really happy with how it looks. His roofing crew and painting crew were polite and helpful and everything was very clean when they left.

Description of Work: I am incredible impressed with this company and Gary. They met our needs immediately and even worked after hours to get my roof repaired. The price, quality and service superseded my expectations. They treated me like I was family. Thank you so much.

Description of Work: Kip came out to my house to give me an estimate for exterior painting. He was very professional and courteous. I feel that the estimate is fair as well. When we are ready to paint, we will call 21st Painting to schedule.

Description of Work: It had been 16 years since the exterior of our house had been painted, and we knew that we had a fair amount of rotted trim and siding that needed to be replaced. Kip came to our house and worked up a very detailed estimate. We received two other bids from top-rated painters on Angie's List, but we were sold by the level of detail of what needed to be done, and 21st Century was also the best price. We felt like we got a great value considering the amount of carpentry work that we needed. We had a lot of weather-related issues, and it ended up taking almost 3 weeks to complete the job; not the painter's fault in any way. We had 2 colors and they were very precise; no oversprays or drips, and they did a great job not getting any paint on the window screens or on the fence which connects to the house in a few places. They were also very neat; every night when they left, they completely cleaned up after themselves. Their carpentry work was also excellent. I didn't find any loose nails, old caulk, paint scrapings, or wood scraps around the house when they were finished. The only small issue we had was that they could have done a better job at communicating what time they were planning to show up each day. We would definitely use them again, and we would enthusiastically recommend them.

Description of Work: When I called they said that they would charge me according my insurance companies quote so my only out of pocket was my deductible. After going through all the process of getting them approved, the final invoice had me paying a few hundred more than my deductible. When I asked for a break down in the difference the invoice was incomprehensible to me. I am discovering that this is very standard contractor behavior if you don't get a piece by piece break down right off the bat. Despite this irritation I will say that no other roof company even discussed doing it for what the insurance company quoted. Others wanted a couple of thousand more. And as far as I can tell they did a really good job

Description of Work: Very professional visit, but did not state what he would do for the Angie's List price and the total quote for painting was much higher than anyone else that I spoke with in the market.

Description of Work: I had them come out and give me three different bids. I had a bid for house and fence painting and for adding an external wall. I selected them for just the fence painting.

Description of Work: 21st Century replaced my 25 year old roof shingles. They did a great job! And at a reasonable price. You can still find quality work at prices that are "through the roof" (no pun intended).

Description of Work: Kip Looked for and located a leak in the Flashing of a Metal Roof that was causing problems in a Closet located in the Garage. Roof leaks are hard to pin point and difficult to stop on the first try but it appears that the leak has stopped. I will monitor throughout Warranty period.

Description of Work: I did not accept the offer and did not want to comment/criticize/rate work I did not have done as I believed it would be unfair to the vendor.. A minimum of work of caulking was completed.......Additional work was offered but I do not believe it would have worked to eliminate the leaking roof. As it turned out, the caulking did not reduce the leaks. Date is approximate.
