Description of Work: Existing masonite exterior siding on the north facade of the house needed to be replaced due to dry-rot. The renovation included complete siding replacement with hardi-plank and priming/painting of plus priming/painting of existing soffits, trims and gutters and downspouts around all facades. Also, replacement of 4 existing light fixtures, adding a new fixture and replacing a masonry encased, rusted mailbox.

Description of Work: I used a painter for a day coupon. They did a very good job. The only surprise I had was, when the time was close to up, I noticed that the inside of the window frames had not been painted in the room, and I asked them if they were going to finish them, and they said no, the time was up and they had to get to another job. I was really surprised that they had not mentioned that they would leave the job unfinished. On the other hand, it could have ben worse; at least they did not leave a wall half done. Overall they did a very professional job, just you really need to know that they will end up wherever they are. This is the second time I have used a painter for a day type coupon, and what always happens is they send two painters and they each work four hours...so it is really two painters for half a day. Same man hours, but for your schedule, you might want to be aware of that. I am very pleased with the work they did. I had a minor ceiling repair (water damage) and had the spray on supplies to fix it, and they did that very well. The job was worth it

Description of Work: They painted the trim on four doors. Three were new and only primed the other one was older and just needed the paint refreshed. They also fixed a bad spot on the wall and repainted the wall. The man that showed up worked hard all day and did an excellent job. He was very professional and we were very glad that we purchased this big deal.

Description of Work: Two painters completed painting my interior living room, hallway and small bathroom within a four hour time frame.

Description of Work: I met with Gary to get an estimate on repainting a small area of stucco. I told him that i wanted a quote for Pittsburgh paint since I did not have a sample and we could just order the original color used from the same company. When he provided the estimate, he quoted Sherwin Williams (a more expensive paint) with no mention of Pittsburgh. I asked him if it was a misstatement or if we'd gotten our wires crossed somehow. He responded that PPG only came in 5 gallon containers and that while it would probably only require 5 gallons for the job, it's possible he'd need an additional gallon, and since he thought SW was better quality, he decided to ditch PPG. I followed-up with two questions 1) Was the total price of 10 gallons of PPG (if it ended up requiring more that 5 gallons, which incidentally no other professional painter thought it would) be significantly more expensive than 6 gallons of SW, and 2) Could he put the quality issue in perspective for me--in practical terms how would we expect the differences to play out? Gary didn't respond to the email, so I called him, thinking he's just bad with email. When I reached him on the phone, he was rude, curt, and sounded angry. He told me that I needed to use either Sherwin Williams or Kelly Moore elastomeric to fill in the hairline cracks in the stucco. I responded that 1) the current elastomeric paint on the house is only 3 years old with plenty of elasticity left and that I was hearing from other painters that another coat of elastomeric was entirely unnecessary and that latex would be just fine, and 2) wouldn't the hairline crack issue be taken care of with the caulking of the cracks anyway?

Description of Work: I took advantage for their baseboard paint special at Angie's List and was very pleased. In addition, they painted two hall ways and the base boards as they provided 8 hrs. of service. Two painters arrived; completed the painting and then it was inspected by a representative of th company. I paid for two gallons of paint they recommended and received a major discount at Sherwin Williams as they are major customers.

Description of Work: Taking advantage of this company's Deal through Angie's List, we had almost all the baseboards in the house repainted. All have decorative molding tops and with the exception of carpeted rooms, decorative molding at the base as well.

Description of Work: I got a quote from 21st Century Painting & Roofing to paint a hallway and some bedrooms in my house.

Description of Work: Some sort of critters chewed a fairly substantial (about 3 x 5 feet) hole in my chimney siding at the base of the chimney. I also knew the roof had a few (less than 20) shingles that needed to be replaced. The old siding was removed from the chimney, new hardiplank siding was installed on the chimney, and roof shingles were replaced as needed. Once the old siding was removed from the chimney, some additional water damage was located and repaired as well.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with the service and the end results. We had our oak stair railings sanded and re-stained to match our new wooden floors and the railings look brand new and are a perfect match to our floors. They also painted the ballisters and molding white. Prior to beginning the work, we informed them that we were having the wood on our stairs ripped and replaced by another contractor and were worried that the paint would get dinged. So they agreed to come back after the stair work was complete by the other contractor to do any touch ups. Job was completed in a day and a half and they came back a few weeks later after our stairs were replaced and completed the touch ups. We didn't have to pay until they came back and did the touch ups. We would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: 2000 sq ft all rooms painted except baths and ceilings. Had missed a few window seals and paint on kitchen floor. missed floor boards in one room and on stairs. But they guarantee their work and of course promptly fixed issues. They were done in two days and very very nice work.

Description of Work: We had our ceilings painted in our entire home (2070 square feet) in addition to every door and frame. We also had a couple of light fixtures and several ceiling fans installed.
