The company showed up on time and spent three days making repairs and painting. They did an exceptionally professional job. They caulked, replaced bad boards where needed, and painted. They were mindful of our property and kept the site clean and safe. They did everything they said they would and stayed with budget. We are very satisfied! Highly recommend this company!

Gary was very professional and easy to deal with from the beginning. The crew he sent over worked long hours and did a beautiful job. I noticed a couple of times that one of the crew was less exacting than the others, but I never said anything and I never had to. In each case when I went back to the area it was corrected and left near perfect. We had one error where they painted the bathroom the wrong color, but when I meantioned it the crew was apologetic and repainted immediately - zero hassle. The wall texture they did over our many, many patches was art, you really can't tell where they were.

They did a fantastic job and I was very pleased. I liked everything about their service. They were very punctual and explained everything effectively especially about my front door because I had questions. They cleaned up every thing and left everything in good order. I would definitely recommend them to others. I actually got their name from two other neighbors who were also pleased with the service.

It was okay. They came out pretty quick when I purchased the deal. He remained professional and did fine.

Gary from 21st Century handled our whole job. He was able to get out quickly to give us an estimate, and scheduled us promptly for the actual job. He told us it would take a week to paint the entire house, but he was able to bring in an extra crew and finished in five days. His guys even worked on Saturday and Sunday! And, at the end of the job, when the fresh new paint in the rest of the house made the unpainted kitchen look dingy, his crew did the kitchen in an afternoon. We were very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again.

I purchased the Big Deal for eight hours of interior trim painting. I had some difficulty scheduling the service before the expiration of the coupon - my own fault - but the office manager graciously gave me a one week extension. The painter arrived a little late - about 15 minutes, not too bad - and removed his shoes upon entering the house. He worked steadily and carefully through the day, taping paper along the edges of the carpet, which took a surprising amount of time. Overall, he completed about half of the door frames and trim in my 1400 foot, one-story home. That included painting the inside of the front door. The old trim looks a bit yellow due to aging, next to the freshly painted door frames. I intend to hire the same company in the future to finish the rest in a few months. Overall a very good experience.

After submitting a review previously that wasn't flattering at all, someone in the office at 21st Century Painting was alerted to follow up. We discovered I had indeed fallen in the cracks following some changes in the office. I received an email the next day, and the work was started the very next day. They did an awesome job and I was VERY impressed at how much of the room and wood floor was protectively papered off for the work. Using an oil based paint of my choosing, these cabinets have never looked better. Will definitely have them back for more work!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $235 for full day of door and trim work (I believe that was 40-50% off). I gave a B on responsiveness just because their email was having issues and I prefer that to phone. But, they were easy to reach by phone, easy to schedule with, and answered all my questions. I was told to expect the painter between 8 and 9 a.m. and he showed just before 8 which surprised me since he was coming from down south. He was very nice, got to work right away, and kept at it the whole 8 hours. He did the trickiest rooms first, which meant my daughter wouldn't come home and touch her door while it was still tacky. He was patient with all my questions and gave me a few useful painting pointers while he was at it. Thanks!

I have used Angie`s List exclusively for a variety of issues because I get a lot of information from reading the reviews, pro or con on any company. I selected 3 different Companies to get bids from on this work I wanted done, one Company did not show up or even bother to cancel with me. I did narrow it down to 2 companies before making my decision on whom to go with. The company I didn`t pick was a bit less than 21st Century, but after I met with Kip with 21st, my gut just told me he and I were on the same page. I should have prefaced this all with the fact that I have been a homeowner in Austin for 31 years, so this wasn`t my first rodeo, with painters. Kip estimated the oil based job would take 3 full days, that told me it would be 4 from past experince. Kip showed up bright and early Monday morning with his team, Julio and Juan. Anyone who`s had painting knows that prep work is SO important, they cocooned off the Kitchen from the rest of the house.Jilio did the sanding and caulking of my front full bathroom, adding the two coats of lighter paint I selected, he was the best painter but acted like he did not speak any Engish, a good way to work without distraction! Fortunately I have two A/Cs on ether side of the house which was nice because it was hot as usual that week before we got the rain, and I had air conditioning for the four and one half days it took them to paint and create what appears to be brand new construction. Kip is co-owner of the Company, so his reputation is on the line with every job, true for everyone but some pay no attention to that in a BIG City, if you get my drift. All I believe is, what goes around, comes around. Six years ago I did paint the kitchen, office/breakfast nook, Laundry room and half bath including remolding my front bathroom, with the exception of the front bathroom I was so full of U.T. Football excitement that I painted the kitchen and other area ceiling burnt Orange! GO AHEAD AND LAUGH YOU WON`T BE THE FIRST. So, of course it took two coats of paint to cover that season!! Kip showed up twice on the job and made notes and more detail was done.In my book Kip really does have an eagle eye for detail, and to get my home back better than I expected is a blessing. As trite as it may sound, you really do get what you pay for with this Company.My colors now are subtle and tasteful compaired to my "football Day`s." I will use them again. I like Angie`s List because it`s not free advice,and the cost of joining it you recoup in no time.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. Actually, I didn't like the trim work but I hired them for something else too and they did a great job. The trim person they sent just wasn't the fastest. He definitely took his time and didn't get much done as he should have. I ended up paying $263 but I also noticed that they had the same deal for $220 or $230 something so I just spent more than I needed to which was annoying as well. They were quick. They came and they did it. They showed up immediately. As soon as I scheduled it, they came out the next day. I will probably not use them again.

It went very well. They were very professional and fast. It was a very careful and thorough job and they were punctuality-motivated fast workers. I did use them and I shouldn't have.

Lorenzo arrived on time,went right to work,and was pleasant and helpful. Another painter was here,painting some walls& after he left,Lorenzo pointed out a portion of the wall around the windows wasn't painted. I had not noticed it as it was red over red. As I was fretting over this,Lorenzo offered to finish it for me. What a nice guy. I would highly recommend them,did a good job,moved our furniture to get to the baseboards and moved it back,very helpful.

this was a Big Deal: a painter would be available for 8 hours of interior painting. the man arrived on time and worked efficiently and neatly. but he would not respond to anything my wife said! he would acknowledge me and my instructions, but completely seemed not to hear anything or anyone else. i don't think this was a physical or linguistic problem. this odd behavior made the man's presence a little uncomfortable for us, so as soon as he had completed the painting assigned, we signed his receipt and he left, well short of the 8 hours contracted. but that was ok with us.

I've used this company twice now. They painted my living room, and I figured with all the space and the vaulted ceiling, it would take hours, but they were super fast and very conscientious.

The painter arrived on time, set up quickly and efficiently and worked until he left. I was amazed that he didn't take a break at all. He checked that I was satisfied before he left and when he was gone there was no mess...just the beautifully painted doors and trim.

It was good. They were easy to work with. I had no problems. There was no mess. They did what they said they were going to do.

We are very pleased and will certainly call this member again for future painting jobs.

The two painters arrived promptly at the appointed time and set right to work. They started on the drawers and doors under a two bowl sink in the bathroom. They sanded some areas that needed that work done and then painted the drawers and doors. When that was finished they painted 5 doors in the office/library. The painting was well done and gave us the results we wanted. It took the whole 8 hours to do the work and the painters did not take any breaks. We would point out that the coupon did not include someone coming to the house to give an estimate of what could be done in the 8 hours. If this company does offer a coupon deal in the future, be sure to have plenty of painting to be done.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. My experience with them and the service was good. I had a very positive experience with the owner, Gary, and with the painter.

There seemed to be a lack of communication and follow through with 21st Century Painting & Roofing LLC so the deal just didn't work out for us.

We have used 21st Century Painting & Roofing many times and had excellent experiences each time. They replaced our roof and refinished the interior of our home and did some painting services for us. We have another project upcoming and will definitely use them again! We have really enjoyed working with Kip & Gary and their team! They are excellent, will take the time to make sure the work is done to your satisfaction and if you do have a concern, they address it immediately! Very accommodating, easy to work with, personable and professional! A hard find, a good find! (the cost I have noted is roughly what I think we've spent with them overall).

Didn't finish, but that's understandable - I paid for a day's painting and that's what was done. I'll finish the rest on a weekend. Good looking work, thorough cleanup.

Bought a coupon for 8 hours of painting, was easy to schedule, the two painters showed up exactly on time, did exactly what we wanted, and did an amazing job. Would definitely use these guys again.

Great job, Kip and Gary were very responsive to our needs, job was completed on time, all issues we had were addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. The crew was neat, they cleaned up and left no mess. We are very happy and would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone. These folks will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the work.
