Made a comment to one of his workers that this was an Angie's list deal and not to spend too much time on this. Was not professional at all. Forgot about the appointment and blamed it on his secretary.

I have used 21st Century twice now for interior painting and once for exterior paint and powerwashing. The company sent an estimator out quickly and they worked me in to their schedule within a week as I had a Realtor tour scheduled. The three man crew arrived on time and promptly began the prep work and powerwash. The furniture was removed from the patio , planters were placed out of harms way , bushes were covered so as not to be harmed by their mild bleach solution. They even removed my old gutters free of charge which I appreciated as the guy who was supposed to do the job didn't show up for the work! The three man crew worked quickly , about three days , cleaned up their mess and were out of here! I did not have to call them to fix any of the work performed which is very rare in this day and age.I would definitely recommend this company to others whom are looking for great work at a fair price and very little hassle.

My experience with 21st Century and their painter Lorenzo was so positive the first time , I called and asked them to send Lorenzo out again. Lorenzo is fast , efficient , clean , takes direction well the first time and I didn't feel like I needed to hide my wife's jewelry if you get my meaning. Just a good family guy , native Austinite , working hard to take care of his family. I would definitely recommend 21st Century and Lorenzo for their quality of work at a reasonable price.

The painters were very pleasant and responsive to requests. They installed new outside light fixtures in place of the old ones they had removed in order to paint and they gave me extra time to wash the windows before replacing the sun screens. Very happy with the results.

I purchased the $299 Big Deal to paint baseboards, trim and doors. They showed up on time and did a good job. It saved me from bending and stooping and it was money well spent!

Before contacting 21st Century, I had contacted several other roofing companies to get a quote for the job, and I was getting very frustrated. One guy came out and said they didn't do roof repairs (why didn't they tell me that over the phone when I set up appt?). He recommended another guy, who also came out but gave me a quote that was astronomical, and they also wanted to re-roof the whole patio cover, which just got re-roofed a few years ago after the big hail storm. So then I called a few other companies, one told me his schedule was full (which was ok), the other said they'd have someone call me back to schedule an appt, and they never did, even after I called and left voicemail again. Another company never called me back...you get the picture. So when I called 21st Century, the phone was answered by a very nice woman (Diana), we set up the appt for a quote for that Friday, I got the quote by the afternoon, and once I accepted it, the work started the next morning. The roofers were very organized and neat. It took 3 days for the job to be complete, but at the end of each day, they cleaned up, no nails or debris anywhere to be found. The new siding looks great, and I would definitely hire them again.

21st Century made an appointment to come see the roof right away. They inspected the damage and gave me an estimate of how much is would cost beyond the regular roof maintenance package that I had purchased. They were able to do the work within a short time after that. I no longer have water leaking into the attic and am very pleased.

Very smooth. The crew was professional and respectful, and the job was well done. I'm already prioritizing the other projects they'll be able to help me with.

I was pleased as it went very well! The workers were polite and courteous with any questions or concerns that I might have had and their workmanship was excellent. Finally, when the work was finished, the cleanup was handled in a timely manner!

The painting was good - cleanliness was fairly good - a few spots on the floor here and there and one small spot on the rug. But I had them do a ton of work and they were efficient and got it done. Great job.

They did everything I wanted and did it well! The scheduling was a breeze and the work was great. Very polite and hard working.

A very nice young man named Mike came at the specified time. He was friendly, professional, knowlegable and very helpful and was willing to address all of my questions and concerns. I had an email copy of the estimate/bid within an hour of when he left my house. I have given all the information to the buyer and the ball is in his court now. I have such a grest impression of this company that I know they will be uppermost in my mind if/when a need that they can address comes up regarding work or repairs for the house I will be living in from now on. Thank you to Mike and Dianna and the rest of the company.

Perfectly cromulent work. It was difficult to pin down how much work would be accomplished in the one day of service I purchased, and I was disappointed that more was not completed- but I don't have enough experience with painting (or painters) to tell whether a reasonable amount of work was performed or not. I had to hire another painter to finish the work.

They were great - this is the second time we have had them paint for a full day in our home and both times they exceeded expectations - worked very efficiently and got more done than we would have thought. Very nice and neat, too.

A leak had caused damages in the home due to faulty installation of the roof in 2012 before I had purchased the home. Gary sent someone out to repair the roof under the warranty, but the damages inside the home Gary is saying isn't covered by the warranty and he refuses to give me a copy of the warranty. I have contacted Gary both by phone and email trying to get a copy of the warranty, but I have yet to get a call or email back from him, I am still having issues with the roof leaking.

The finished work is flawless and looks great. 21st Century made a good first and lasting impression, start to finish. I'd like to especially acknowledge Mike, who was punctual, knowledgeable and professional. Work started on the scheduled day at the scheduled time, no excuses or delays. There was an issue of a manufacturer defect that 21st Century ultimately corrected and made whole. For their decision to make it whole themselves without waiting for the manufacturer is why I gave them an A overall. The five categories above are strong As. Results are everything. I love the new roof.

Because we had significant work to be done, including painting, carpentry and roof replacement, we wanted to work with a contactor that would do it all, without subcontracts. 21st Century filled the bill. Our existing roof was 30 year old heavy concrete tile. The house is two story and the tile removal was a major job. ( A couple of other bidders declined because they didn't want to deal with it.) The rest of the work was significant--replacement of damaged siding and extensive fascia removal and replacement. It couldn't have gone better for us--Mike and Gary communicated well throughout the process, always quick to respond and clear in their communications. The crews were really outstanding--the carpentry work was beautiful and went the extra mile, particularly since so much was very high on the peaks of the second story. The roofing crew was efficient and organized, and the painters paid attention to every detail and, again, were efficient in the painting and clean up. All of the workers cleaned up diligently every day, and were pleasant to have around, always helpful in explaining what they were doing, alway starting early and working late, always seemingly in good moods and enjoying their work. To us, this is a sign of a well-managed company--the workers know what they're doing, and in addition to their skills, are motivated and take pride in their work. Again, this is a great company and turned an experience we were dreading into an actual fun time because of the professionalism of everyone we met during the process. Their cost was in line with other bids, and obviously well worth it.

needed shingles replaced and asked for an estimated to have it done. I never received it. My roof Is still missing shingles.

It was fine. It's not great. It took them awhile to respond. It was difficult to schedule. They could have been more thorough and easier to make an appointment. They left the area neat and tidy.

Both jobs went very well. The first effort to fix items around the house and then to paint the entire house was a large job. The crew was here almost two weeks. The price on this job was significant ($11,000) but the money was well spent. The result was excellent. The crew worked diligently and into the evening if necessary. I had good communication not just with the owner (Gary) but also with the workmen who were here. When I decided to replace the shingles on the upper story of my house a few months later, I called Gary back without thinking of considering alternatives. I feel that when I've found a contractor who is reliable and professional, I'm going to stick with them until I have reason to change. Again Gary showed up almost immediately and gave me what I felt was a reasonable bid (about $2,400). The same crew showed up and did the work promptly and well. One of the advantages I see with 21st Century is that they are very versatile. They can do not just painting and roofing but may other tasks such as carpentry, sheet rock repair, and probably other matters if asked. For taking care of miscellaneous repairs around my house, I've found them to be a one-stop operation. I recommend them without question/

The team was very efficient and took the time to seal off and cover areas so there was no paint spatter. They worked steadily and they cleaned up after themselves and took all trash with them. They moved steadily from room to room moving and covering all furniture. They even moved my china cabinet out from the wall without my having to take everything out...amazing! They were a great team who were more interested in doing a good job rather than finishing the job. They worked each day until they were at a good stopping place. They not not require any payment until the job was done, and it was the exact amount of the bid! I highly recommend them!

Great day of Baseboard painting. very neat, pleasant and did a great job

I was very happy with the amount of painting he was able to complete and the quality of the painting. Lorenzo arrived on time and he asked me to show him what needed to be painted. He painted items according to the priority list I gave him (since I had more than he could complete in this trip. He painted nearly the entire time he was here, except the last 5 minutes when he cleaned up. I was very pleased with Lorenzo's work

Johnny came right on time to do this work. He was a super worker and even though I had neglected to get enough lumber for all three of the replacement jobs, he figured out how to make it work. I really appreciate his fine work.
